So far this place has lived up to all the hype! We tried the breakfast tacos and the tortilla is so good the ingredients inside. I got chorizo and cheese, ham and cheese - while my husband got 2 sausage and cheese. All are very good but surprisingly the ham beat my usual favorite, chorizo. The optional green chile sauce is spicy! We will definitely have to try this place for some burgers! Oh and I agree with everyone else - very nice people running this place! So.... I eat. I like eating good hamburgers. I had a favorite spot on 183 close to my house, but my buddy asked me out to lunch at this gas station; I know I know, gas station burgers, GROSS right? NOT SO!! This place was Uhhhh MaY Zing!!! He had the A1 Mushroom Swiss burger, I had the jalapeño burger. It was crazy crazy good. Patty was thick, juicy large no "where's the beef here", the bread was that beautiful brioche toasted buns, jalapeños that were put through an actual process, not pulled out of a jar. The greens were crispy large leafs very very fresh. My buddy I think mentioned 4Xs how good it was as it was coming down the sides of his mouth. The mushrooms were nice and fat with soo much cheese, it was beautiful, I envied his burger!!! Lol Seriously, if in the area, stop by this place. Not exactly what I was expecting when I tapped "restaurant" in yelp to see what was around me. I was impressed with the 5 stars and am always game for a good burger so didn't read any further. When I pulled up to a gas station, I had to re check the address in the GPS and compare it to the one in yelp. It's a decent enough place with a tiny seating area with tables and chairs. Let me just say you won't be bringing your date here to impress her or him with the ambiance. I was impressed with the fact that I sat down and was waiting for my name to be called but instead it was brought over to me. Good start. The server also checked with the other customer who was already eating who apparently was enjoying her meal. So not bad. I ordered the jalapeño, jalapeño burger, added bacon and got all the veggies and their shark sauce. Plus a side of fries. Fries are great, they're breaded. Have a great flavor. What impressed me here was the fact that they were crispy but still nice and moist inside - perfectly fried. They have a breading on the outside so not gluten-free (not a problem for me). I interrupt this review to eat my burger... Ok. I was planning to have a bite or two and then finish the review but that didn't happen. Remember how I was saying you won't bring your date here if you want to impress her or him? Well, if she or he likes burgers, this is the place to bring her. I'm honestly shocked. Everything tastes beautifully fresh. The meat is tasty. But the sauce. They make it here. You can't buy it. It isn't delivered by Cisco. They make it. The chef apparently has his own concoction of spices. It's really good. I can't use the superlatives I would like to use here because it would offend people. (The world we live in today...) I am of the belief that a good burger or hotdog should be messy. If it's not messy, then it's just not properly made. This was messy. But that's not the only reason why I couldn't continue the review after starting to eat the burger. The problem is that after the first bite, I couldn't stop eating! It was that good. I have to be honest though, transparent. I am mad with the owner of this place. They are located 38 miles from my house. Not convenient. I would like to formally log a complaint on that. Now that I've hyped this all up, you'll probably come and have a burger and fries and then think I'm a nut because it wasn't that good, mediocre at best. Maybe I was starving and so that just made it taste that much better. Well, I'm sorry, but if thats how you feel after eating their burger - you are officially certifiable. Loony. Nuts. Love Sharks Burger! My wife has been going to the location near Bagdad for years, and when they opened on Ronald Reagan we've been back a number of times. Very tasty, but expensive, so it's kind of a treat to go and not a regular thing. read more

Wow, this place makes tasty burgers. The original is in a Shell, which is pretty epic. I see why they've expanded, it's extremely delicious. I ordered a burger with American cheese, red onions, lettuce, tomato, bacon and jalapeños. They actually messed up my order & gave me a second patty instead of bacon. Didn't matter, it was so f*****g good. The grilled jalapeños were super spicy, maybe they were fresh... not sure, I ate it so quickly. I will go back, but probably check out their new location. Most of the time this establishment has done a fabulous time today was not the case. The burger was cold as well as the fries. My bun was burnt and parts were hard. When one walked up to the cash register there is a sign that says no mask no service. What about the server? He was not wearing a mask. They've added awesome new Shark Bites that are the perfect balance between chicken nugget and tender and are really crisp and moist - all at the same time. The burgers still are like meat concerts to the tastebuds, and they continue to come up with creative new bi-weekly specialty offerings. They've also started offering accommodations for some of the more popular diets, like Keto (and their food is practically Paleo-friendly out of the box anyways). Last night was date night and we both decided that a burger would be a great dinner. My girlfriend mentioned this as an option and seeing as many great Texas dining experiences can be found inside a gas station, I was willing to give Shark's a shot. Sharks has a standard menu of burgers as well as adding chicken tenders or a grilled cheese. There's a few burger concoctions as well as the opportunity to build your own burger. Food? One of the better burgers in the Austin area. Both the girlfriend and I had the Great White Cheddar Bacon Burger, which is exactly what it sounds like. Two pieces of sharp white cheddar, bacon, two patties, and a toasted burger bun. She had fries and I had tater tots -- either of which are more than adequate for two. If I had any constructive criticism on the burger, it would be that the bun got a bit oily, whether from the griddle or something else. The service was first rate, not to mention speedy. The owner rightfully takes pride in his restaurant. Not only is he friendly and chatty, he even came by the tables inside the convenience store to see how people were enjoying their food. I can't fault Sharks for the actions of the associated convenience store, but I'm really hoping that Sharks can have its own standalone location. Since Sharks is inside the convenience store, they're not allowed to sell their own drinks. We found that the convenience store's drink area had a broken iced tea machine and also that the soda fountain wasn't working, necessitating us buying smaller bottled drinks at higher prices. In short, Sharks is one of the better burgers in town. I recommend a to-go order! read more

If you're looking for a solid burger topped with fresh, delicious ingredients on a soft bun, then look no further. I'd been craving a trip to this little hole in the wall place since stumbling upon them on Facebook and it was worth the wait to get out there on a day off. I had the bleu cheese avocado bacon burger and it was spot on perfection. Every bite was delicious and the side of fries, perfectly crispy and lightly seasoned, made the meal a memorable one. The fact it's in a gas station was a bit of a surprise when we first arrived, but I have no doubt that their business is a brisk one. As we waited for our order, several other folks showed up with to-go orders and they were very quick with each patron. They have weekly specials, so their rotating menu makes it a new experience each time. We fully intend to go back next week to try the new special and I'll be patiently waiting for that bleu cheese burger to come back. If you're not into burgers, they do also offer chicken sandwiches and strips, and really, everything sounded good. You just can't go wrong here. Five stars for the stellar food, the cute theming down to the stuffed sharks keeping watch from above the register, and the sweet cashier who took our order. I love love love the burgers. The fries are probably my most favorite fries I have EVER eaten. The chicken tenders could use a little work on the breading because in a sandwich it gets VERY soggy fast and I've eaten one fresh so it wasn't sitting around or anything. This is a really good grilled burger inside a convenience store in Leander. There's not much to it. Just go to the counter and order it your way. There's a couple of tables if you want to eat it there, and they'll bring it to you. The burger is greasy, as it should be, and it is a hand formed patty grilled on a flat top. The buns are buttered and grilled too. The French fries are a decent cut of the potato and fried to a crispy golden brown. I was impressed with the fresh taste of the patties, and the melted American white cheese with just enough mayo and mustard round up the flavor. Of course, there patties are 100% beef.
