WOULD GIVE ZERO STARS IF POSSIBLE!! This was one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had anywhere. I called in my order and was told I could choose my fountain drink when I arrived. Five minutes later when I got there, the same employee said the fountain machine was broken and then tried to require me to either pay for a fountain drink I would not receive or pay extra for a bottled drink. When I asked to simply remove the drink and pay for the chicken and fries that were already prepared, I was told they "don't sell that" and that I would not be served. After this dispute, the employee handed the food that had been prepared for my order to customers who were waiting in front of me and told me that my order was canceled. Shortly after, two customers came in and were allowed to order only chicken and wings with no issue, even though I had just been told that was not possible. I have video of this interaction. I then offered again to pay for the food that had been made for me. Instead of resolving the situation, the employee canceled my order and called the police even though no crime had occurred. Being refused service after attempting to pay the posted price, having your food given away in front of you, seeing other customers allowed to order what you were denied, and then having police called over a simple pricing dispute is beyond unacceptable. I recorded the interaction for my own protection because of how out of control it became. If you care about fair pricing, basic respect, or being treated like a human being, do yourself a favor and avoid this location entirely. read more

The Shark's Fish & Chicken in Dallas the food was bad and the service could have been better. I ordered two lemon pepper chicken wings dinners and a 10 piece shrimp dinner. The chicken wings was old, overcooked and they wasn't lemon pepper either. They sprinkled some ranch seasoning on my chicken wings, that I never asked for. The shrimp was undercooked and the batter on the shrimp was doughy. Instead of cocktail sauce they gave me hot sauce. The whole meal was a mess. The atmosphere was sad and needed an upgrade badly. Food is made to order. I was recommended Shark's by a Chicago native. I've been there a couple times now and the food is decent but it wasn't amazing enough to bring me back on my own. originally from Chicago so I was looking for some food that reminded me of home. they charge extra for bread and mild sauce, which is crazy, sharks back home would NEVER. also they cook their food in old grease. As a true native Chicago native when I found out that we had a Sharks located in Dallas. I made it my business to drive to this location and test them out to see if it was the real thing. I ordered the 4 piece wing dinner with lemon pepper and a side of mild sauce for my fries. I was really surprised to see the wings had a lot of feathers still left on the chicken so that wasn't the most appetizing visual, however I moved passed that and the chicken was fairly overcooked and hard. I really don't like my chicken fried hard like that because you can get this nasty burnt after taste. Besides these few issues I would say that the chicken tasted very similar to a sharks location in Chicago. Place is simple, guy at counter answers questions quickly. A few tables to eat inside, no AC, fish had good flavor, chicken had ok batter, shrimp was average. 2 stsrs because they make it fresh to order and it wasn't salty. With that being said the fries were not cooked all the way. Both chicken and fish were soggy. Fresh but not crispy. They don't use any kind of batter. Just a coat of seasoned flour. I have to say that they were some of the smallest wings. It is a little small and if you blink you will drive right by the spot. Definitely worth the U-turn if you do miss it. No place to sit so get it and go, but once you do make it home, unplug the phone and get ready to enjoy yourself. If this place was closer to me it would be a solid 4. Food hear is pretty good. Chicken wing and fish combo with fries definitely will fill you up and have some leftovers. A little soggy on the fries but the chicken and fish make up for it with the crisp and great taste. The area itself is not the best but once you get past that it's worth it.
