    Turkey & provolone sub

We just had another visit to Sharky's while driving back from Daytona. It was just as remembered; cute place, huge menu, (hot subs, cold subs, pizza, burgers, sandwiches, wings, salads, etc.,) clean restaurant with plenty of seating, and a friendly knowledgeable staff. The prices are reasonable and the food is yummy! I had a 6 inch turkey sub. It was tasty and fresh, even the bread was really good. My husband had a Buffalo Soldier sub which had a heaping helping of chicken, with cheddar cheese and bacon; plus just the right amount is spice. They have counter ordering; but the food was delivered to our table.....pretty quickly too. I love to support small businesses and I'm happy that Sharky's is still thriving. We'll be making this our regular stop when we drive through Fort Pierce.

Such a good quality dive restaurant. We can see why people are loyal to them. We are here for a week and will certainly be coming back. The menu is vast and everything sounds delicious. Inside the seating is comfortable and the a/c is nice on hot days. Order at the counter after you finally make up your mind. Staff is very friendly and efficient.

Cool little restaurant. It took a little while to get our food but it was pretty busy, so that was understandable. The staff was very friendly. We got the Cuban sandwich, New England clam chowder and bohemian soup. Then we got a coconut Bombay cake to go. My wife said I have to take her back for more cake!

Sharky's might be the first restaurant run solely by sharks. When you walk in there's a shark in the front of the restaurant holding the chalkboard telling you about their deals. Then when you order another shark comes up. Hahaha I'm just kidding! There's no shark here not even on the menu. Sharky's is located and a part of the beach where there's literally nothing around you for miles. The menu here is pretty large and diverse. I often come here and get sandwiches working in this area of beachside. Stores always clean inside. The staff is always friendly and as fast as they can be. There's always a lot of jokes and songs coming out of the kitchen. Which is a good thing because a Happy chef makes happy food. I've tried almost everything on the menu at this point but I have to say there isn't a single item so I suggest avoided. The food is always really good and nice and hot.

Whenever my family comes to Hutchison Island we always stop by Sharkys. It's such a great little gem. It's a classic surf shack, really casual. The staff is friendly and I recommend any of the seafood options, my favorite being the mahi sandwich. If you're looking for a place with fresh seafood and not in the mood to cook it's the perfect place to grab takeout and eat at the beach or at home.

Amazing chicken salad wrap with provolone, the Great White sub, and super crunchy onion rings.

He was kind enough to give me complimentary potatoes w my breakfast sandwich since I guess I opted out of the meat. But regardless still a much appreciated gesture. The younger gentleman that was waiting on tables was great as well. My biscuit was one of the best I have ever had eating out. Buttery, crispy on the outside, soft & fluffy on the inside. Last one I've tried else where tasted like it had freezer burn but this tasted fresh hot out the oven. My eggs were buttery smooth, not too over done, & I added hollandaise sauce & that was perfection. It was so dang good, I ordered the same thing but to-go for breakfast the next morning. And he continued to give me the complimentary potatoes which those were heavenly. The inside looks just like a blast from the past diner w some cool historical memorabilia. I also like the large windows w the tables against them for the natural light to come thru. I sadly live in a different state as I was just visiting but I will without a doubt return when I visit again. I can't recommend this place enough!

After a nice ride down A1A, I arrived in Fort Pierce shortly after 11am and decided to get a bite…read moreto eat. I found this place via Yelp and here's my honest opinion. I really like the location. It's located on the water, technically on the inlet, next to Jetty Park. The views of the water is gorgeous - it's a deep aqua color, and I always enjoy watching boats navigate through inlets. The place has a tropical Tiki Hut vibe with palm trees and sand surrounding umbrella covered tables. There's also seating at the bar under the "Tike Hut". Service is at the bar. Instructions and a QR code (which downloads their menu) are provided on a board in front of the bar. So after a quick look at the menu I stepped up to the bar where I was greeted by a friendly employee. I ordered their Smoked Fish Dip ($14.00) and a Shiner Bock ($4.25). She brought me my bottle of Shiner Bock (no drafts at this place) along with a small electronic buzzer device that she told me to take back with me to my table, and when my order was ready it would notify me. It was practically no time after I sat down and my electronic device notified me that my order was ready. Again, service is at the bar - this time pickup was at the far end of the bar. You give the employee the electronic buzzer and the employee gives you your order. I found the Smoked Fish Dip very good. It consisted of a blend of wild caught Mahi-Mahi, Wahoo, Whitefish, and Whiting. It was served with freshly fried corn tortilla chips, red onions, tomatoes, and ¡alapeños. To be honest, I'm not a big fan of fried corn tortillas with any kind of smoked fish dip, and would have much preferred plain saltines instead. But no biggie. Note, there's a sign out front notifying everyone that: * 21+ for admission * No dogs * No kids * No babies (No kidding) I'm not sure of the reasoning behind these rules, but it's important to know before arriving with the family and your favorite 4 legged fur baby. The location, the food, and the friendly atmosphere gets 4 stars from me.

Upon arrival, we were questioned about the dogs in a way that felt inappropriate. I was asked whether they were service animals, and when I confirmed that one was, I was further questioned about my medical condition, which made me extremely uncomfortable. We were eventually allowed in. I was unaware of the dog policy and was not informed that dogs were not allowed, these people don't even allow children I later saw (not family friendly). I rejoined my parents and we sat at a table off to the side, away from other guests, as we are always mindful that not everyone is comfortable around dogs. I ordered drinks and food at the bar, then stepped away briefly to use the restroom. The bartender (Olivia) was dismissive and made me wait a long time to order, not very inviting. When I returned, a manager approached our table in an aggressive and confrontational manner and insisted that we leave, claiming the dogs were barking. This was not accurate, neither of the dogs barked. We were shocked by the way the situation was handled, especially because there was no attempt to speak to us calmly or respectfully. It was a bit savage, something we aren't used to. When I asked what we should do since we had already ordered, I was rudely told the food would be packed up and brought outside. I went to the bar to cancel the order instead and asked for the manager's name, but the bartender refused to provide it. The manager then came to the bar and confronted me in a rude and dismissive tone. When I tried to calmly address the issue, he became even more confrontational and started to laugh, extremely unprofessional and disrespectful - trying to instigate the situation even more. I told him I would not lower myself to his level of communication and that the situation lacked basic customer service. After that, his behavior became even more aggressive. As we prepared to leave, the manager stood by the entrance watching us in a way to try to intimidate us, then followed closely behind us as we exited. Again, I was with my elderly parents, no respect and again, savage low-class behavior. The situation could have been handled with courtesy, professionalism, and respect. Instead, we were made to feel embarrassed, unwelcome, and intimidated. I did research on this restaurant and found that a blind veteran and his service dog were attacked and there was a big lawsuit just 2 years prior. The door guy attacked and injured one of our veterans, blind, over a service dog policy is disturbing. I hope that whoever reads this, decides not to come to this establishment, there are several reviews of how rude the workers are and it's unacceptable that the owner allows ratchid behavior. Read all the negative comments, this place is terrible!!!

Normally, once we cross the bridge, we just head straight down the road toward the beach and find somewhere to park from there. This place is a little closer to the bridge, so it's not somewhere I would normally walk to or randomly stop at. They do have their own parking lot, which is convenient. We were a little confused about where the entrance was at first. We ended up going around the back, where the boats were passing by, walking past a little tiki hut, and then heading up the stairs. Once we got upstairs, it was a fairly small space with a decent-sized bar. It definitely gave me more of a local hangout vibe than a touristy spot, which I actually liked. Our waitress was super nice, and we had a great little corner spot with some really nice views. The menu had a pretty good selection, but we were just looking for a small appetizer to share. We decided on the 10 wings, but couldn't decide which sauce to get. Thankfully, our waitress told us we could split them, so we did half Thai chili and half buffalo. She said they would toss each half in its own sauce, which sounded perfect. Unfortunately, when the wings came out, I could barely tell which ones were supposed to be Thai chili and which were buffalo. It honestly looked like they had run out of sauce and just used whatever tiny amount was left in the container. I have NEVER received wings with so little sauce before! Usually, when you get sauced wings, you can actually see the sauce coating them and maybe even a little bit of it dripping off. These were basically dry with a light glaze of sauce. We both had a side of ranch with our wings, but it just felt like it was overpowering the little sauce that was covered with the wings. I could've said something, but my nephew didn't want to make a big deal about it, so we just ate them. To be fair, the wings themselves were good, but why serve wings with the absolute bare minimum of sauce? Next time, I'd definitely ask for EXTRA sauce and probably get some on the side. I prefer my wings well coated--I want more than a tablespoon of sauce for 10 wings! Overall, I liked the atmosphere, our waitress was great, and the location had some really nice views. The wings just needed WAY more sauce!

Everything came out fresh and well-prepared. Drinks were cold and refreshing, perfect for enjoying while watching the sunset over the water. What really adds to the experience is the live entertainment. On weekends, they have bands playing that bring that laid-back, Florida-chilled atmosphere to life without overwhelming the vibe.
