This was our third time in six years that we have built a pool with Shasta. What keeps us coming back is their in floor cleaning system, and the fact that to upgrade the equipment. Also their longevity on business The good- Garrett Dow,the construction manager was the best person as far as communication goes. He always responded to my text and phone calls in a timely manner and he kept the project moving. The trades that he had on our site were always professional and easy to work with. The AI operator was helpful when I couldn't get a response from anyone. I liked their Builder Trend Ap for communication. What needs improvement- project manager didn't respond in a timely manner or not at all. Never picks up the phone. This is the main contact for the project and this added to undue frustration. Good communication is key to any project. It seems it's hard to find good people that have the skills to do this now adays. I will continue to recommend Shasta as they do build a great but just don't expect great communication unless they get better project managers read more

Shasta Pools...Fast to Take Your Money, Slow to Stand Behind Their Work My experience with Shasta Pools has been extremely frustrating! Shasta was fast when it came to everything that benefited them: fast to collect our money, fast to get someone out for a quote, fast to create the design, fast to get the contract signed, and fast to get our pool installed. But now that there is a problem with a pool that is not even three years old, the level of urgency and customer service has been completely different. Our pool currently has no power to it, which means the pool is not functioning. I called Shasta two weeks ago 07/14/26 to get on the schedule. I left a voicemail on Friday and didn't receive a call back. Monday I call no answer left a voice mail... by Thursday I called again, I finally spoke with someone, I was told that it wasn't her fault because the AI system they use didn't capture my message and send it over. There was no apology, no empathy, and no concern about the fact that I had to call in multiple times and my pool was sitting without power. Instead, I was simply given another number to call. I asked to speak with a manager and was transferred to Gabe in the warranty department. Gabe told me he would submit an email/ticket to the company Shasta uses for warranty calls. I waited. Friday came and I still had not received a call. I called Shasta again, and I was told that it takes 24-48 hours to receive a callback/email and that they don't work weekends. I asked her to confirm that my warranty request had actually been submitted to the warranty company. She couldn't verify that it had. At this point, my pool had already been sitting without functioning electrical equipment for approximately 1 week. I asked for a manager and was told there wasn't one available. I was told a ticket would be submitted for someone to call me back, that was Friday. Monday came. Still no call. I called the number I was given and got Gabe. I explained everything that had happened. He told me he would call me back. He didn't. Instead, someone unexpectedly rang my doorbell. It was the company Shasta had sent out. Thanks Gabe! The technician came to verify the issue and determined that it was an electrical problem (I've stated this multiple times on the phone that there was no power). He explained that because Shasta had originally done the electrical work, I would need to contact Shasta regarding the repair. He said he would complete the ticket with his findings. I immediately called Shasta again, per the technicians request. Now I'm being told they need to "review the account" and will call me back. There was no timeframe and no clear explanation of what exactly they were waiting for. I specifically asked if they were simply waiting for the technician to complete his ticket so Shasta could review his findings and determine the next step. Instead of getting a simple yes or no, I was given a vague response that essentially repeated what I had already been told. Which wasn't clear that's why I asked. So here I am, still waiting. And here's what concerns me: We have monsoon weather, dirt, dust, and extreme heat. A pool sitting without proper circulation and functioning equipment is not something that should be treated like a low-priority issue. The longer this goes on, the more concerned I am about the condition of the pool and the potential for the water to turn green and develop algae. Shasta isn't going to pay for the pool to be cleaned! This is more money out of my pocket!!! The most frustrating part is that I shouldn't have to repeatedly call, chase down warranty departments, ask whether tickets were actually submitted, request managers, and try to figure out what the next step is. I paid Shasta Pools for a complete pool, including the electrical work. My pool isn't even three years old, and when something went wrong, I expected them to stand behind their work and help resolve the issue, not make me chase them for answers! They may be fast when they are trying to earn your business, but based on my experience, once they have your money, you can find yourself on the back burner. I'm not asking for special treatment. I'm asking for communication, accountability, urgency, and basic customer service. After two weeks of calls, voicemails, tickets, no manager call back, warranty departments, and still no resolution, I don't think that's asking too much. read more

We had a pool built and it is beautiful. Total about $70 k, we reached out to get pricing on an acid wash and for umbrella sleeves. They charged us $75 for the call for an estimate and then they came back with the most exorbitant cost. $600 per sleeve and they haven't even. Given us the estimate on the acid wash. So much for repeat business. I will go elsewhere and if ever putting in a new pool again, I will not use them. I recommended two neighbors and they are happy like we were. I used this company for over two years and, unfortunately, my experience declined over time. We paid for the premium service plan, which advertised additional maintenance beyond the basic package, including more comprehensive water chemistry balancing, filter cleanings, salt cell maintenance, included chemicals, and priority service. However, it often felt like we were receiving only the basic level of care while paying the premium price. The quality of the cleanings was inconsistent. There were many times when, within 20 minutes of the technician leaving, dirt had already settled back to the bottom of the pool, making it clear the pool had not actually been vacuumed, despite vacuuming being listed as a service performed "as needed." I also frequently had to call to follow up on missed or incomplete services. The scheduling was frustrating as well. My service day was changed frequently without much consistency. On the occasions when I had a technician who did an excellent job, I called to request that person return for future cleanings, but those requests were never honored. The cancellation process was the most disappointing part of my experience. After moving out of state, I canceled my service, yet I had to call three separate times because my account continued to be charged after the cancellation request. While there were some technicians who did great work, the overall inconsistency in service quality, lack of follow-through, and billing issues left me unable to recommend this company, especially for anyone considering the more expensive premium service plan. read more

WARNING TO CUSTOMERS!!! I contacted Shasta Pools to obtain an estimate for weekly pool service. After receiving the service agreement, I carefully reviewed the terms before signing and had several questions about conflicting provisions. One provision authorizes Shasta to charge customer's credit cards for repairs under $50 without prior customer approval, while another stated that customers would be contacted for approval before repairs were made. I asked for clarification regarding these conflicting terms, as well as several other provisions in the agreement. Rather than answering my questions, I was promptly informed that Shasta was suddenly unable to accept new customers because they were at capacity. I can't say whether the timing was coincidental, but I found the experience disappointing and unprofessional. I believe any company asking customers to sign a legally binding agreement and keep a credit card on file should be willing to answer reasonable questions about its terms before requesting a signature. Read the service agreement carefully, ask questions, and make sure you fully understand any authorization to charge your credit card before signing. I will NOT use Shasta. read more

As an Arizona native, we ultimately chose Shasta because they have been building pools in all major cities in Arizona for many years and we trusted we were hiring a company who would lead the project, take pride in their reputation, be mindful of the homeowners time and schedules, take ownership of the trade quality and cleanliness, anticipate specific city requirements, help us navigate rules and laws related to building and owning a pool, and ultimately provide us with a quality end product that will last many years to come. Other than knowing if the pool will have any ongoing warranty issues in the future remains to be seen, but the other expectations have NOT been met. Shasta personnel have been made aware of our issues throughout the process of building and surprisingly, remain completely disinterested in customer experience management and seem to have no concern about the reviews I will be providing online or the impact negative feedback may have on future business who seem to utilize the lowest bidder for all trades at each phase. We have had many issues throughout the entire process: Unreported gas line damage, failure to identify excavation issues prior to excavator arrival, loss of mature trees, failure to anticipate city requirements for drainage plans, lack of understanding of pool barrier requirements, timing issues with trades, unscheduled contractors showing up on site, two failed city inspections, lack of communication, unsupervised work quality for each trade, construction-site like debris including broken glass and dozens of nails left behind at cleanup, and lack of responsiveness and accountability from our project manager. FIRST: If you're getting turf installed, put screens on your windows to protect your investment. Turf melting from window glare is very common, but companies only make you sign a waiver without actually warning you about how likely it is. We had no real explanation, and we wish someone had told us. They focus on avoiding liability, not on informing the customer. FULL REVIEW: We started our full backyard remodel, including a pool, in September 2024. After meeting with four pool companies, we chose Shasta because their infloor pop-ups seemed best and their pricing was reasonable. Our sales/design rep, Jordan, took about two weeks to get back to us--much longer than the other companies. The design he presented was nothing like what we asked for and had multiple issues (equipment placed in the yard instead of the side, a huge rock border taking up space, missing features we requested). The only upside was price. We showed him another company's design, corrected his layout, and eventually landed on a price slightly lower than competitors. Excited and thinking everything was settled, we signed. Permitting went quickly--we had approval by late November. We were told the pool would take about 50 days, so we expected mid-January. Instead, it wasn't finished until March 28th. There was almost zero communication throughout the process. Workers showed up randomly with no notice. Buildertrend (which should show the schedule and updates) was never used. Our superintendent, Daniel, seemed annoyed whenever we reached out, and our project coordinator was unhelpful. Delays happen, but none were communicated. We felt completely in the dark. Workmanship issues added to the frustration. Our travertine pavers were poorly done--grass grew between old and new sections, and Shasta had to come back three times to finally fix that area correctly. Several travertine tiles have since come loose, likely due to the base not being done properly. We also had multiple rust spots appear in our pebble tech, which took months for them to address. There is a quarter-size chip in the pebble tech that Shasta claims is "normal," and we really hope that's true. We enjoyed the pool over the summer and don't regret the investment itself, but we do wish we had chosen a different company, even if it cost a bit more. read more

I had my pool built by Shasta pools March of 25 my pool came out just the way I wanted it. our problem started with the travertine we thought we chose a sort of dark color that had been in the showroom later to find out proof in an email that the color we chose had not even been available for 10 years and should be taken out of the showroom. so basically we don't know what we got. Even with my proof, they they proceeded to tell me that is what we ordered. they just want to take your money and when they're done, they forget all about you. Shasta completed our pool install in March 2025. The design and pool are great, and I'm really happy with the final result. For the pool itself, I'd give 5 stars. For communication, I'd give them 1 star. Their communication is where Shasta really disappoints. During the installation, we were bounced around between various people for coordination. There was no single point of contact. The closest was when the project supervisor, Ben, eventually gave me his cell number. These communication challenges felt like a bit of a red flag, but since Shasta has been around forever, I assumed they had figured out their process. Every time (literally -- EVERY. SINGLE, TIME) I called their office, I had to go through the phone system and always ended up in voicemail. Does anyone actually answer their phone? When I did get a callback, I was told I needed to talk to a different department--then was redirected TO THEIR VOICEMAIL. They even have multiple phone numbers listed on their website depending on the issue. I don't care how your company is organized--be CUSTOMER-FOCUSED and give me one way to connect with you for the assistance I need. I'm not calling Shasta for fun. Now I have an issue where my water level is too high and at risk of overflowing, and I can't get ahold of anyone for emergency help. It's times like this (and warranty work) when their communication challenges become even more consequential. The pool really is great, though I suspect there are many great pool builders in the Valley. Find one that builds excellent pools AND gives you the PEACE OF MIND that you can actually get ahold of someone to answer your questions and respond to your requests. read more

We had high hopes for our $120,000 backyard design and construction project with Shasta Pools. To be fair, the design and sales phase was excellent. The design team was attentive, creative, and responsive -- which ultimately is what gave us the confidence to move forward with the project. Unfortunately, once the contract was signed, the experience changed significantly. The biggest ongoing issue has been communication and scheduling. No one in a leadership position has followed up with us in any meaningful way. Our assigned construction manager has never introduced himself and does not proactively communicate. When we raise a question or concern, there is little to no follow-up. For a project of this size and cost, that level of absence is incredibly disappointing. Trade scheduling has also been inefficient and poorly coordinated, causing frustration and unnecessary delays. It often feels like homeowners are left to chase updates rather than having a structured, well-managed process. Shasta clearly has talented designers and a strong sales team, but the execution and leadership after the sale have not matched that initial experience. For such a significant investment, better communication, accountability, and project management are essential. My family and I have met with other big pool companies and was severely disappointed until James gave me a call and we met in person and oh my god it's like night and day. James treated it as like a member of his family.Everything he said he would do, he did it, and there was a couple things that were extra cost, and he said, no problem he'll cover it and he did. Over sale, under perform. Rude management. Tries to sale unnecessary work. NO PROJECT MANAGEMENT besides scheduling contractors; no customer facing project coordination. I had to initiate all contact with Shasta to resolve issues. Sub-contractors used faulty tools & equipment. A manager tried to scare-sale me into a $7,000.00 concret slab replacement that their own concrete contractor later determined was not necessay; a simple $200 crack fix was the solution. I had to escort the manager from my property after he took a threatening tone and physical stance towards me. After completion of my remodel, I found problems that are directly attributable to poor workmanship and lack of oversight/supervision of the various sub- contractors. And now these are defects that I have to live with, unless I want to tear out the new interior of my pool. Project Coordinator was on vacation and out ill during my entire pool remodel.​ I expected much more from a company thats been in business for decades. I had Shasta build our pool back in 2014. Although the pools has held up great, I am disappointed by their lack of service. I have a rough patch that has developed in the plaster that makes the floor feel like pebbletec. I had someone come out on June 25th to give me an estimate of repair. To do that, they have to have a credit card on file to charge you the $75 for the "visit". When he came out, he said I would need to have it grinded and then polished and would send me the estimate. Fine. It is now Aug 19th and I still do NOT have an estimate. However, they did send me an estimate/bill for someone else's a couple weeks ago and proceeded to charge me $75 for it. I have called MULTIPLE TIMES to find out 1. Why I have not received an estimate yet (which I no longer want from them) and 2. Why I was charged for something I did not receive. No one calls back!!!!!!! I am about to file a complaint with BBB as this is ridiculous! I want my $75 back! read more

My husband and I have enjoyed our pool when we purchased the pool from shasta we were under the impression that certain parts and the SHASTA DECKING would have a lifetime warranty as along as we owned our home!!! We have found out that is not true!!! So sad I have highly recommend your company for seven years now!!! And I will not do that anymore!! August 2021 I visited Turks and Caicos, Providenciales and returned home wanting a piece of the Caribbean in my backyard. I will start by saying I am in the building business so I do have a good understanding of the trades and supply chain. There were days I wished that I had not decided to move forward with the pool. Now that it is finished I simply could not be happier and more delighted with the outcome. Achieving the water color was a group effort and I think we did a great job with our selection on the interior finish. Thank goodness for the pros as I would never have picked Mandalay Mint. The photo is below. It was not all bells and whistles and there were times I got frustrated too. What I have learned from building new homes is to Inspect what you Expect and share with the sources that you have available to you. Hats off to Paul Carmazzi for answering every email, text and phone call. I am a perfectionist and I know that about myself Paul, Daniel and the crew at Shasta Pool met those demands for me. My super on the job was Daniel and he too was awesome! Daniel contacted me every time even from when he was in the hospital. Every detail came to life and I could not be happier with the finished project. The girls in the office where cheerful, helpful and very professional, hats off to Michelle and Kristen who came to my rescue on a couple of things. Building is not easy today, what use to take us to build a home was 6-7 months now takes 1.5 years. My advise, to everyone going thru the pool process, is to reach out to those that can help, be kind to them as it is a very stressful time in the building industry. I chose Shasta because of their reputation, they are a Great company and from my end result, I could not be happier. What could have been better, well the trades cleaning up after themselves. Do not, under any circumstances, sign a contract with Shasta Pools - you will be gravely disappointed. Hands down this is the single worst consumer experience I've ever had. I was sold a 4 month "at the most" project plan for a huge mark-up compared to other pool companies. They explained that the money is in the quality of materials and the fact that they have 90% in-house contractors so scheduling will be seamless. I am almost 6 months in with several weeks yet to go. Communication has been atrocious. Emails aren't returned, phone calls go unanswered, and they provide no escalation path. There is zero proactive scheduling nor has there ever been published a full sequence of steps and durations. When a milestone date gets communicated the execution rate for the date in question is about 25% OR workers show up unannounced at 5:AM to begin work. During the permitting process I kept being told they were waiting to hear back from the city. After 2 weeks of this I called the city office directly and they informed me that the permit had been approved for over 10 days. I had to contact the project manager myself to inform her that the permit was back so they could begin digging. Every single step has been delayed due to lack of project management. The work by the contractors is sufficient for the most part, but they leave trash all over the yard and pool and leave cement and debris everywhere. I also had the joy of being fined twice by the HOA for a crew leaving a baby pool in the front yard full of concrete and water for weeks. I had to have plumbers out 5 different times after their initial pipe installation to fix various leaks throughout the system. The stone-work on the waterfall is full of gaps and defects. The pool deck was poorly formed so there are visual curves to the rectangular pool shape and the width of the decking is inconsistent. Even when I escalated to the better business bureau, they assigned a director to call me and assure me she was going to assist in the rapid completion of the project. This has only made progress slow down even more and she won't respond to any calls or e-mails either. Trust me, do yourself a favor and go with any number of competing pool companies. Any experience with a different builder is guaranteed to be better than Shasta. Not only that but you'll also save thousands of dollars going elsewhere. read more

THIS REVEIW IS FOR SHASTA POOL MAINTENANCE AND SERVICE. Wow, where do I start. Terrible, unbelievable incompetence and unprofessionalism. I hired them in October 2023 to do the weekly service and other maintenance. 1) The tech would come and spend less than 10 minutes cleaning and checking the pool. At least one time he even brought his toddler with him (saw from the camera) which made me extremely nervous. 2) They send out a weekly email saying what your chemical levels are. It wasn't swimming weather so I didn't check it often. I swam for the first time and noticed what seemed like way too much chlorine in the pool so the next day I checked their emails. Chlorine levels were extremely high consistently going back months. CYA is extremely high going back months. The pool started getting a crust around it. This was very concerning so I sent an email and left a message at the office. The next day no one called or responded. 3)Eventually I decided to call the office. It was clear she hadn't read my email or listened to my message. I explained I was very concerned about the levels of chemicals I was seeing and couldn't swim in these levels and needed to address what was wrong. *She started off arguing with me about when we started the service. She was wrong. *She then proceeded to tell me the chlorine levels were what the levels are supposed to be here when it's hot. Completely untrue so I called her out on that, also the levels were the same in the winter. She then admitted they were high and offered no explanation as to why. *I addressed why the pool hadn't been drained when clearly it needed to be. She said two emails were sent to me stating the pool needed to be drained during the winter. I checked everywhere, no emails. She then said she had proof but never offered that up. She accused me of lying about not getting the emails because "everyone else had" . I explained I was hiring them to service my pool, it was their responsibility to contact me if something wasn't right. She said I should have just known by looking at the weekly emails (even there was no service alerts or suggestions) She argued incessantly and barely let me get a word in edgewise. I listened to her but she kept saying the same thing over and over and wasn't answering any of my questions. *Finally, highly frustrated I asked if we could please go back to addressing the chlorine levels because she hadn't answered or addressed any of my concerns. She then said she didn't feel like they were servicing our pool to my needs (Yes, exactly) and she would cancel my contract. That was my ultimate intention at this point but I wanted to speak to someone who actually knew about pools, I asked for a supervisor. She said she WAS the supervisor, the only other one was the field supervisor. I asked if I could speak to him. She sarcastically said "no, he's in the field". I asked for a phone call from him. She said ok, then slammed the phone down and hung up on me. I'm not exaggerating about that. I've literally never experienced that from a "professional"company. Yes, I was extremely agitated by the end, but never abusive, it was simply extremely frustrating. In the end literally nothing was accomplished and I got zero answers, just a slammed down phone. It's quite clear that the techs do not know what they are doing, the "supervisor" doesn't know what she's doing, it appears to be a systemic problem. I've never encountered such rude customer service in my life. I highly suggest you avoid this company at all costs (at least the service branch of it!) They'll probably ruin your pool.I can't believe this branch of the company is still in business. read more

My wife and I would like to thank Shasta Pools for the great experience we had. Our pool, which is absolutely beautiful, was constructed in less than two months! First dig was April 15, and we were swimming on June 10! Everybody who came out to our property was extremely professional and polite. We cannot thank James Arrowood, the Shasta Pools Sales Consultant, enough for helping us with the design and picking out the right colors, tiles and flooring. His knowledge helped us more than he knows! The site manager, Andrew Guy, was incredible! Also extremely knowledgeable, he put in the start up chemicals so we could swim two days early! We would also like to thank Alexis Florio who kept us informed on the many happenings throughout the construction! Well, I have to admit, Shasta did everything they could to turn this experience around. In less than 3 months, since my initial review, our pool is finished. The quality of work is, as it was the first time, TOP NOTCH!! I really hope Shasta can get their back log processes fixed. I know these are due to COVID and other pool companies are experiencing similar back logs. They do super work and once the construction got going things went pretty quickly. Thanks to all the employees that helped turn this around. I would give them 5 stars, but all the initial delays should have been able to be avoided. Thank you Shasta! read more

Since my last post my gas line has been installed, inspection passed, and ditch from gas line has been covered. I've received a call from a Construction Manager stating they would expedite things however, we still do not have firm timelines. A muck out has been performed. Guide wire for shotcrete has been installed. Received my Shasta sign today. Learned that my friend that I referred to Shasta, however, went elsewhere and signed with a competitor in May of 2022, received shotcrete today. This really upset me. We signed with Shasta in October of 2021 and were told 10-12 months. We are in month 12 and my expectation is Shasta better stay true to their word. I have emailed the President of Shasta Jeff Ast and I'm awaiting a response on what they are going to do to meet this deadline. read more

Here are the highlights: 1. Took 16 months to complete. 2. Communication was abysmal. Weeks of nothing, then randomly 5 guys wandering around the backyard. Or, I would be at work and get a ring alert that they are in the backyard. I have 2 dogs and have no idea if the gate is closed or not. Shasta couldn't even muster an email letting me know when someone was coming. When I would complain, I was told they can't control when subcontractors show up. 3. I have no idea how my equipment works. I have an app ( that works sporadically) but if my wifi is down I have no idea how to turn my pumps/cleaners on. They gave me a USB thumb drive with all the manuals. But it has every manual for every single piece of equipment they sell. So open up the folder and good luck figuring out which of the 37 manuals to start searching through. Also you must be attached to your home wifi to use the app. Want to turn on the heater before you get home. Nope! Gotta get to your own wifi first. 4. Just go with someone else. I really wish I had. Hello Ed, Since you are answering all the questions, I signed up with shasta last summer 2021, we are in March 22 and nothing has been done. No updates on where we are, nobody calls to update. I've already lost interest in building a pool especially with shasta. Alot of ideas has come to me with what to do with my back yard including going with California pools. At this point I don't care about the 500 deposit I made. With all the terrible reviews I see on here, going somewhere else won't be a regret for sure. What do you think Ed? read more

Going on one year now and our Shasta Pool is near to completion after several delays. For this I am grateful. However, for reasons unknown to me, our pool has become a dump site for the pool workers and although I am told at some point I will see a "clean up crew", presently this is our view. Truly disgusting! Especially after having already paid Shasta Pool 90% of our pool cost!! read more

This is my second review for Shasta Pools remodeling for our pool, which is now going on its second month due to continuous unnecessary delays on their part. Think of the worst person you've ever communicated with and you have our Project Coordinator Carla. She is the very definition of someone who either can't or won't communicate. Thanks to her either forgetting or intentionally delaying (I believe the latter), to send us a simple addendum for an umbrella sleeve, we had to wait an additional 3 weeks for their plumber to come out - again - for 30 minutes just to drill a hole. A 3 week wait for a 30 minute job, which only happened after my first Yelp review and a quick response by someone named Ed. Amazingly, once Ed became involved we were back on track. But alas, Ed's magic quickly faded and we're back in limbo. Our pool has FINALLY been cleared for finishing. But, for some reason, Carla and/or the Shasta scheduling Gods will ONLY schedule us for a day with rain forecasted. This has happened 3 separate times, which is quite a coincidence as we live in the desert and it's rained twice in the past 3 weeks. Our most recent schedule date was today, which had an 80% chance of rain. So, despite it having not rained a single drop in our pool today, Shasta decided to push out our date again for tomorrow, which currently has a 60% chance of rain. Thus, the cycle will likely repeat itself tomorrow, when I suspect they will push it out yet again until a week from Friday, which is the next forecasted day of rain. Of course I know that Shasta cannot complete our installation when it rains and they also can't control the weather. But this is the 3rd time in a row they have scheduled us on a day specifically forecasted to rain. Either an intentional delay tactic by Shasta, or their schedulers don't know the difference between a picture of a sunshine or raindrop during a weather forecast. I personally believe it's an intentional delay tactic, just like Carla's "forgetting" to send us the umbrella sleeve addendum. Meanwhile, we continue to have an 8-foot deep crater in our backyard where our dog recently fell into and almost broke her hip. Thank God it wasn't one of our kids or their friends! If Shasta is going to continue to delay our remodel, either intentionally or from sheer incompetence, they could at least cover the massive empty hole to prevent debris and living things from falling into it. I know our pool will look great when it's finally done, but that isn't the point. The point is that all of these delays by Shasta are completely unnecessary. I thought a company that's been around for 57 years would know how to operate efficiently and communicate with customers. But Shasta operates worse than a one-man business on Craigslist. So, if you're thinking of spending thousands to have your pool remodeled by Shasta, don't just look at the beautiful pictures and listen to the fairytale dreams told to you by their salespeople. Understand that it will likely take MUCH longer than anticipated and you will have weeks and months of terrible or no communication and lots of unnecessary but intentional delays on their part. read more

They remodeled our pool and did a terrible job. They left dirt water in it and caused it to stain before finishing it! Some of the pieces they put in were extremely cheap and look terrible. We also used them for my brother's pool at the same time before we knew how awful this company was and they caused significant damage to my brother's property and the pavement they did around the pool is super uneven and terrible! We had a remodel done by Shasta Pools and was complete about 3 months. We have a pool cleaning guy that let me know that one of the pop ups installed by Shasta does not work, it's not cleaning an area. I called about two weeks ago the remodel division and they seem to be ignoring me. No response yet. I was wondering about this. Apparently there is a warranty on this, but they must be too busy to respond. Please keep that in mind. The owner Ed is always on these reviews and really appreciate his efforts to get the ball rolling. Also keep that in mind. It is a great company and they do great work! Today two workers came out and did our repairs. So far it looks really good. It took them approximately four hours. It took 18 months of frustrating phone calls. The last call two weeks ago included several "F" bombs dropped by me. Not sure that did it but I am much happier with no cracks and crumbling. read more
