    Been shawarma wrap

We stopped here after going to west chase and on the way home. It was our first time inside. We had previously gotten take out and it was pretty good. The inside is small and a bit shabby, but it was a nice day so we sat on the patio. It was also in need of some remodeling, but it was comfortable and not busy. There was only one waitress, but she was nice and friendly and helpful. We ordered the shawarma wraps: beef and Philly chicken, chicken Alfredo flat bread pizza, hummus with pita, fried cauliflower, a Greek salad, labneh and mint lemon slushies (as recommended by the waitress). The wraps do not come with sides so when you add sides (they don't offer side salads) it starts to add up. The food was tasty and fresh; I wished the pita was served warm like the wraps though. My husband and daughter loved the slushies. Our bill was 98 with tip which is pricey for lunch at a very casual cafe, but at least it was tasty and the weather was nice! If you go, stick with just a wrap!

I enjoyed a yummy beef shawarma platter here on a quiet Friday evening. The entrance to the restaurant itself is a bit out of the way, tucked behind an unassuming strip mall, but had some indoor and ample outdoor seating. The beef shawarma platter came with a sizeable amount of meat, pita, fries, tahini, hummus, onions, and pickles. What I enjoyed about this meal was the meat - while perhaps slightly dry, that was easily remedied with the addition of the tahini/hummus. I also felt that the portion sizes were quite generous, to the point that even I as a voracious eater felt quite full afterwards. I was a little bummed that they did not offer any rice as a default option, and the pita was a bit flat as opposed to fluffy, but overall can't complain too much for the price of ~$16. The service was also prompt, though to be fair I was the only one in the restaurant for the majority of the Friday evening. Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quick Mediterranean fix in the area, particularly to any meat lovers out there.

Really good!! Friendly service, tasty food, fantastic hours for the night owls like myself and lots of variety at a decent price. The chicken shawarma was yummy in my tummy, wish it was just a bitttt more seasoned or that the sauce was stronger? Baklava was definitely perfect. Not too sweet and soaked in honey while keeping its flaky texture!!!

Great place for late night shawarma in the Energy Corridor area. Great customer service and speedy service. The foods is hot and well balanced. I tried the Hummas Shawarma and it was very tasty, next time I will ask to add pomegranate seeds. The halloumi is a must, perfectly fried.

Wow, wowwwww!! I stumbled upon this place a few months ago and luckily I am in love with mediterranean food. This place is a staple for me and I highly recommend checking it out. My typical order would be a Chicken Shawarma platter or Chicken Shawarma wrap. The platter comes with their amazing chicken shawarma with hummus and fresh veggies. Also a basket of fries & pita bread. Most importantly their signature tahini sauce, OooooHhhh man! Best tahini sauce i've had so far. The wrap is served in two pieces so it's quite easy to eat. Their Shawarma wrap is not messy at all, typically when I eat a wrap it's messy. This one held up pretty nicely. This is comfort food to me and it can turn a frown upside down. For dessert, my go to is their Baklava! Ugh so good. it's a delicious, flaky dessert made with thin sheets of dough soaked in honey and layered with nuts. Nothing but perfection! The service here is amazing, i've never had any problems. The owner is really nice, greets anyone that comes through his doors. The interior of the place could be better but it's the food that speaks volumes.

Passing by this cute place and decided to order something ! Loveed the chai and shawarma and the cheesecake slice they had ! If I lived by close wooukd definitely come back! Friendly staff

I love this place, one of my favorite places in Houston to get Mediterranean food. I love the service, very friendly and kind. It's a nice atmosphere, very cozy, and feels warm. I always get the same thing, which I recommend if you're a first timer with Mediterranean food.

So we'd driven past this restaurant and we were both very happy we finally pulled in and tried it. The staff was very friendly, the food was tasty, and we both loved the atmosphere. Next time we'll have to try the hookah. The patio is beautiful and somehow the was they had the fans wasn't super loud, and kept away flies. We're both looking forward to returning. Oh, they also sell Turkish coffee with the pot so not only did we have an amazing dinner, I was able to explore an entirely amazing coffee experience the next morning. You should give this spot a try.

Such a warm and friendly place! The food is simple and tasty. Mint lemonade or mint are good picks, as well as salads and shawarmas.

Beef Shawarma was average at the best. It was wrapped in a tortilla and then grilled. I will not try it again.

There were slow for the evening service. We order Meza for starters... mixed appetizers with feta cheese, smoked beef, egg, roasted peppers and eggplant among others. It was delicious. It also came with some kinda bread pancakes. I ordered the lamb shank that our friend recommended. It came with rice, carrots with tomatoey sauce. Lamb shank was super tender like fall off the bone tender and the sauce completes the picture. My wife loved the Greek salad. There are other items in the menu that we look forward to try. We arrived late and they were super accommodating and friendly. We stayed past closing and they didn't shoo us out. They have been around for 6 years but it's kinda hidden. Restaurant has some marble table and benches. Gave off a comfy neighborhood vibe. We will back to try out the other items on their menu or even just for the lamb shank.

Something different. Something out of the ordinary. Friends, let me tell you about Hamsa. House made Baba ghanoush? Addictive. Lamb Hummus? One of the best appetizers I've ever tasted. I could eat that lamb hummus every single day. Shaved tomatoes and feta? Scrumptious. We also shared the ribeye skewer and the shrimp skewer. As a couple, this allowed us both to enjoy a middle eastern version of "Surf and Turf." Both were fantastic. I've written a few reviews for Yelp. I only write a review if my experience was 5-star worthy. If I have an average meal, I'm not going to take the time to write about it. Hamsa was definitely one of the special ones. Give them a try. I will tell you that is highly recommended to have a reservation because even though they have plenty of room, these restaurant is very popular, and they also have a beautiful bar. The food is outstanding with several traditional Mediterranean dishes but with their own and unique twist. You definitely must try the hummus with lamb and the Labneh with couscous, definitely might talk to favorite appetizers. Their non-bread is very fluffy and soft. I will say that the service is also wonderful, we were very well taken care of and their drinks are very tasty and strong! My only complaint is that it was very hot. We were seated in a booth by the wall and we were sweating, Looking forward to come back when it's not hot inside.
