They close at 6 and I asked them if I could come by 4:45? Sure! Their waiting room is nice and clean with a coffee machine and water cooler. So they started working on the car immediately and told me that my car recommendations are synthetic oil, more expensive than regular. I asked them how much? They said $92 and I could change the oil every 5,000 miles instead of 3,000 if I bought the regular. They also said they can use regular oil which would not really make a difference, that's all they had to do was change the viscosity and that would be $52. I decided to go with my car recommendation and chose the $92. After a half hour it was done. Total price $92. That included oil change oil filter change to off all fluids and put air in all 4 tires because the low tire light was on. They said I didn't need to change my air filter because it was fine. Honesty is very important to me and I was impressed they didn't change the air filter when it didn't need to be changed. I think most other places would have. I will be in 5000 miles for sure!! The NTB by Hungerford didn't have an opening until 1pm and I have to catch a flight at 5pm. I called Rockville Tire and Auto around 10am. He told me it would only take 30min, but a bay wouldn't be opened until about 11-1130am. I arrived at 11am and by 1122a, they found the culprit of the leak (stupid nail), patched my tire, and I was on my merry way! The price was very reasonable ($25.11 includes tax). The staff was very courteous. The inside of the shop is clean and has a 3 seater couch, a 2 seater, and a single chair. I can vouch for the comfiness of the three seater. There's a tv, an empty water dispenser, a Keurig (no k cups in there), and free wifi. While there were no K Cups out, you could certainly ask for them. I didn't come here for "amenities," so this didn't affect me at all. Hands down, I'll be coming here for future tire needs!

This shop tries to scam customers who they think don't know any better…read more Had a car with the tire pressure light on. Doing some online research I figured it was due to the TPMS's battery was low and thus needed to be replaced. I have previously gotten one replaced at another shop for only $60 including sensor and labor. Only $25 for the labor if you bring your own part. Neely's tried to charge me $160 for just a 'diagnosis' which is literally a 1 min check with a diagnostic tool to find out the battery levels of each TPMS. And then they 'recommended' to replace all 4 sensors at once when that is totally unnecessary as all 4 TPMS's battery nearly never runs out at the same time. Then they want some more money for an OEM TPMS sensor when a universal Autel TPMS is less than $30 on Amazon. And Neely's will NOT install a customer provided part, even if it is brand new. Not to mention the mechanic I spoke with looks like some gang member and was super rude at that. AVOID these scam artist. If you want an honest mechanic, reach out to me and I can hook you up with one.

I coordinated with Serkan at PQ to bring it in and he offered good advice to try to start it and diagnosing the problem. In the end, it still would not start and I used Lift Towing and Recovery to extract it and bring it in, a very complicated job. Serkan was transparent about pricing, we selected the part together from three different offers from various suppliers and he then gave me a ride to Panera. The car was fixed the same day and the total cost was $440, which is very reasonable for this kind of job. Plus he saved me $30-40 in Uber costs by dropping me off to (and picking me up from) Rockville town center. Overall, a great experience and I am very happy to have found trustworthy mechanics like Serkan and his people at PQ.

They were able to replace the tire with a new one within the day and it was very reasonably priced. Because of that one situation, my dad ended up becoming a loyal customer having his repairs and oil changes exclusively done here. I of course followed suit and decided to start coming here as well. I came one afternoon with the intent to replace all four of my tires because they were getting worn out but when Chino, the owner, took a look, he assessed the tires and was honest in telling me that a couple of the tires had a few miles left therefore not wanting to sell parts that I didn't need. He didn't have the tires I needed in stock so it had to be ordered, but he had it delivered very early the next morning. I brought my car in and waited in the waiting room for about an hour or so - ended up replacing only 3 tires and replacing my windshield wipers. While replacing my tires, he noticed that my brakes were at the end of its lifespan so it also needed to be fixed. I ended up bringing it back in the beginning of the following week. This time I dropped it off because it was a bit more involved. Recently, I've brought in my vehicle for an oil change and it was done in less than 2 hours on a Tuesday afternoon. Overall, not only is Chino an honest mechanic, but he is also quite personable. The prices are reasonable and customer service is top notch. Great place! I've been recommending this spot to many people.
