My family really wanted to like this place because the other 2 locations are awesome but idk about this one. We waited over 5 min in an empty dining room to get just are drinks ordered then 5 min later a different waitress came to take our order only problem was we never got menus and our soda order was even wrong. This place has gotten food orders wrong drink orders wrong and then they never come by to check on u so u never have an opportunity to correct them. Maybe higher people that don't live around the lake because it just seams that they can't get anything right.

The fries were hot and crispy. They didn't ask how I wanted my burger cooked, which is the only let down. He had wicked grilled chicken sandwich and it was overall good. But not hot. And the chicken was pounded out really flat, which was the let down. Onion rings are really just extremely thin onions in a thick batter. Good crisp and flavor if that's the kind of onion ring you want. Menu was huge. Looking forward to going back and trying something else. Service was pretty good. Didn't catch her name though. I get annoyed that I don't have the opportunity to check that I was charged correctly. That being said, I was.

Our app came quickly but the drinks and food came so slowly. Also between us asking for waters while we look at the cocktail menu was a lot of elapsed time. Food: the steak frites were very salty (and I love salt) but definitely the best meal ordered. The "Mac attack" tasted cheeseless -- literally tasted like water. The chicken Alfredo was "mid" but also a super tiny portion. Both pastas looked like kids meals. I guess they were priced appropriately at least. Not pictured was the Donny burger -- described as "eh it was fine". All left more to be desired. We really wanted to try the cinnamon cake but decided against since service was sooooo slow. The peach tea was bad. The oasis marg was okay. When we asked for wine, we were told "I don't know what we have let me show you" and were shown the screen that listed: white, red, rose, and sparkling. The wine should be listed on the menu with the beer and the cocktails. I'd maybe come again to sit at the bar and have a drink or two if there's live music, but otherwise, this is skippable for a full meal service.

My wife had called about the Schnitzel and if they were still serving it. They have it on the menu for Oktoberfest. She had mentioned that because of Hogan's Heroes and all the German food they talk about on the show, I had a craving for German cooking. They usually serve it on days I work. However, I was off this past Saturday so she had asked if they would contact her if they were going to serve Schnitzel this Saturday. They contacted her and that yes, they were going to have it on the menu. We were excited that we were going to sample some good German cuisine. We brought a couple of our friends with us. We were not disappointed. All four of us ordered the Schnitzel meal. The meal consisted of the Schnitzel (very tender pork cutlet that you can easily cut with a fork), warm German potato salad with a perfectly tangy taste, homemade spätzle and of course sauerkraut. We all loved it. The whole meal was scrumptious. Kimberly served us and was so helpful answering questions about how the Schnitzel meal was actually cooked. I sure hope they keep it on their menu full time. You of course can't go wrong with their burgers and the loaded potatoes as well.

The tater tots, regular and layered were so good!! And the onion rings were crunchy and tasted great! We got some dairy farm ice cream to go since we were stuffed! Thank you for hosting us for a yummy late lunch! The service was funny and so helpful as we made decisions! The location is easy to find right off the highway and accessible bathrooms. Simple place with decor of the history of the town. Go check it out!

I was kinda scared as the place was nearly empty except for an older couple in one corner and what looked like some drunk regulars in the other. I decided to sit close to the door in case we had to make a quick exit. It looked like a Waffle House inside so I had to be prepared for anything. Menu is large with lots of options. Prices are reasonable. The one cook behind the counter looked 12 but I watched him cook and he was very good. This place like all other Huddle House restaurant is small, but clean and well organized. Our server was Ms. Michelle, who was very welcoming, good sense of humor, polite, very efficient and nice smile. She promptly served us water and coffee. She then took our orders and the three of us opted for the Philly Cheese steak Omelet, with crispy hash browns, I got the side of toast whileny brothers got theirs with biscuits and side of white gravy. Even though, (apologies), I didn't take pictures the omelettes were very delicious. Whoever prepared my toast, must of just graduated from butter school, because my toast was oozing with butter. Other than this everything was totally awesome.

She was attentive, kind, and always paying attention to whether we needed anything without hovering. We started with the appetizer sampler and chose the fried pickles, okra, and green beans. Everything came out hot, fresh, and lightly breaded, which I really appreciated. Nothing felt greasy or overly heavy. Also, the sweet tea was actually sweet and delicious, not that sad "dark water" tea you sometimes get other places. We split the chicken fried chicken sandwich and an order of 8 honey BBQ wings. Both came out at the same time, and honestly, we probably could have chosen just one because the portions were huge. For the price point, that was a big plus. Everything I saw on the menu looked reasonably priced and fair for today's economy, no price gouging. The chicken fried chicken was cooked perfectly. The breading was light, the outside was crispy, and the chicken was still juicy. The wings were fried naked and crispy before the sauce was added, which I loved. My only tiny nitpick would be that there was a little more sauce than I personally prefer. I would have liked the option to add more sauce if needed, since you can always add more but can't take it off once it's on. Overall, this was such a good experience. Great service, fresh food, big portions, fair prices, and a true local restaurant feel. I'm so glad we chose this place and will definitely be sending people this way!
