I found it while in Miami a day early before a cruise and craving ceviche--one of my favorite cuisines that I first discovered here. The price point was great, parking was free (huge plus), and the service was wonderful. I had a great glass of wine and ordered the ceviche sampler, which was incredibly fresh and flavorful. Each one had distinct, delicious flavors. I left fully satisfied and very happy. If you're looking for excellent ceviche in Miami, this spot is definitely worth a visit. I'd gladly come back next time I'm in town.

I review this place with mixed feelings…read more The food was great tasting, good portions, and even better pricing. The service was great and attentive - they even remade my iced tea 3 times until I was satisfied. Unfortunately, my luck ran out when I ordered a dish called 'Jalea' which is a breaded and fried mix of different seafood and fish, which for this place was largely just fish with a few calamari and muscles. This is where I think I inadvertently met my enemy - the muscles were breaded too and one of them was completely closed and wouldn't open - I remember telling my friend, fate is telling me to attempt any further to open this muscle because it might not be good. And I left it alone; unfortunately it was a for-telling sign of things to come in my future. Fate definitely warned me, but it was too late by then as it was the last piece of the muscles that I avoided while chowing down on all others. I think they might not have been fully fresh and the breading and seasoning masked their betrayal. That was dinner at 9p, and at 4a I woke up with my stomach telling me is was time play game of thrones, except the throne I was reaching for was the white throne. There I was king of the hill for the next 3-4 days. So as much as I liked the place (ambiance was standard) for taste and value, this unfortunate event overshadowed any possibility of me ever coming back to those lands. May the force be with you when visiting this place: "when you play the game of thrones, you win or you die" and I like my life, for now

Some were thirst and some were hungry, so I suggested we try this place. We didn't have a reservation but it was early evening. We were able to get a table for 5 quick. It's a nice place, felt classy. Luckily we came in looking classy. Our server was a nice guy. He took our orders, including my Mai Tai which was off menu. We also ordered different bites for the table. I got a tamale and also the croquetas. Both were very good, and the Mai Tai was perfect. It's got a touristy energy, a little overly Cuban. But honestly its probably not noticeable unless your from South Florida. The waiter was able to take orders and conversate in Spanish and English which was good for our table. It's a nice spot for bites and drinks. We are sure to hit here again soon.

The server was helpful with explaining the menu and making us feel welcome. Servers at the entrance were dry. My experience was unfavorable. The staff seemed professional but after a few moments seems like they require diversity training because the lack of customer service felt unwelcoming. The waiter was extremely polite and helpful and the food was good!!

Nothing like enjoying my bday weekend with friends at my fave live jazz bar in this area of Miami!…read moreWe called in on Saturday night and got a nice comfy half booth in the live music room right away. The room is so cool, staff is relaxed, cool and inviting. Tonight Ollie is onstage playing guitar, singing and taking all our favorite requests! We all sing along and have a great night of good food, good music, good drinks and great company of other live music enthusiasts! They have a fresh fish case stocked with great stuff including stone crab--The food is terrific! From my favorite raw bar starters, fish soup, sushi, whole fish, protein bowls, steak/chicken, kids choices, and the like. Menu is huge, something for everyone. The complimentary starter is fish dip and saltines. It Definitely sets the fish house mood! I love the decor--so jazzy, so mardi gras, so eclectic kitsch. It's just a relaxed fun time right on Miller Drive. Feels almost like a speakeasy! Aahhh, Miami--so chock full of these little unsung spots that you must be a local to know the secrets! All the fun is inside here. Check it out, it's all good at the Fish House. Thanks for following me, happy 2026! ~Tami in Miami

Visited this past Friday for Happy Hour. Had not been here in years…read more We have been to the one in Key Largo which is also fantastic. Nice and rustic ambiance, definitely seafood related decor. Welcomed to the table with crackers and seafood dip. I could eat a tub of the dip! Ordered two Margaritas for $6 each which were excellent in regular good size mug. Service was very good team effort. Appetizer was conch fritters, rather small, but tasty with dipping sauce. Lobster bisque on point, can eat a 5 gallon bucket of this easily. My wife had the fried shrimp with parsley potatoes. Tasty and enjoyable. I had the shrimp linguini covered in Parmesan sauce. Ate every bit of it even though I should of taken half home. Definitely recommend going for Happy Hour and save half the cost of dinner menu. Almost forgot Cuban Mojito to finish off the meal. Overall, just as good as the first time we came years ago. Go get yourself some !!!

Was the first time for all of us and I really like when everyone at table is experiencing it for the first time together, definitely adds to the overall vibe/occasion. As we were walking up, they had nicely decorated patio tables, which we learned inside is where Happy Hour is available "all-day", which is music to anyone's ears! It was a Monday so there was plenty of room (we had a reservation either way), and noticed right away that the place didn't feel stuffy (high ceilings) and the decor was very nice. I chose a real nice booth to sit in which had me facing the huge blue bar wall. Aesthetically pleasing and didn't look cheap, which is a plus. My sister and I arrived first, so we went ahead with cocktails while we waited for our cousins to park and walk over. My sister went for traditional margarita but made it Mango, and it was great. I ordered the Mezcalita de Naranja and its was the bomb - I had 3. Would absolutely get again. Once the cousins arrived they went for a red sangria which looked dark and not exactly traditional, and another Mezcalita after tasting it. Thumbs up on the drinks, very well made. The food was very well portioned and everything was delicious. Aside from the entrees pictured we also did an order of steak quesadillas, toro taquitos (raw tuna), and some tequeños. Hard to say if one was really the standout but I chose to toro taquitos and the tuna was fresh, wasn't overly spicy and hit nicely with my drink. Quesadillas were dope too, steak was medium-well. My main was the Molcajete and if you go hungry, will definitely hit the spot right. Great service all around, our server Mildanny made several good recommendations for us, including the dessert which was a hit. Cost for 4 people was pretty reasonable and that's that it was pretty much two drinks per person. Will definitely be back to take advantage of HH!
