A great place for a casual family lunch! The food was fresh and flavorful, the service was really good since we came in, not a long wait which was great for a Saturday at 1pm... Our server was very friendly and helpful and also other waiters around that came to helo at times. We enjoy that we could watch the World Cup game as they had it in multiples Tvs! We liked the variety of food... the nachos are huge and perfect for sharing! We tried garlic rolls, Nachos, Chicken Lemon pasta, Texas Burger & the kids corn dogs. All delicious! I personally loveeeed their curly fries and the meat of the burger was also outstanding and big portion. Went for my birthday recently. It was super loud but that probably because I haven't been to a bar in a while. It was still a good time with great food and music. I ordered the pitcher of raspberry iced tea mixed with lemonade and the tumbleweed onions came free. Also got the rib rolls and the dolphin fingers. I probably should have not gotten so much fried stuff...kinda hurt my stomach a little. But it was great going down! We found this on our first day of vacation in Doral, FL 1/28/26 - Joe Flanigan's Seafood Bar & Grill. We were out and happened by here. Didn't know it was a 25 location chain in south Florida. We were for lunch on the first day and dinner the other days. This place does not feel like a chain restaurant. Big bar with lots of TVs, but also quieter areas away from the bar. Daily lunch specials i.e. soup/salad, sandwiches, crab salad, dirty rice, etc. with a house draft starting at $10. The menu is extensive, from elevated pub grub to full dinners. Try their ribs & chicken wings. Smoked fish dip is very good. Something for everbody. Open 7 days a week 11am-1am. We were also here for the Super Bowl 2/08/26. The place was rockin' and the halftime show by Bad Bunny had most customers on their feet & singing along. Note: parking lot is smaller than the crowds here, plus there's a steady stream of pick up customers. So we were here Jan. 28, 29, 31, & Feb. 8, 2026. I was able to get to Flanigan's in the Miami area. Heard so many good things about it and I will tell you that the rib egg rolls were pretty over the top. Enjoyed them, enjoyed the garlic rolls my buddy had a steak and some french fries and a salad steak was pretty decent. Fries were a little on the hard side and the salad was neither good nor bad. Our service was fantastic and the atmosphere was fun decent music plane would definitely go back to try the tilapia or the shrimp scampi. Definitely the onion rings. There was just a lot on the menu. My friend and I had a nice experience here. We came early- around 4:30. Parking was easy, but the lot is small and by the time we left around 6:30 there wasn't a spot in sight. Not good. I'm not sure how people are able to come here during peak hours. We sat at the bar for drinks and the waitress was nice. Then we moved to a table to eat. Food and service was good there, too. At the end I had to take it home it was too much food for 15.00. Oh I forgot it also came with fries. Service was excellent our server Juan was so patient. Hubby changed his mind like 3 times and Juan never got upset at all. One of the best Flannigans that I have eaten at. I ordered some curbside takeout the other day. They have a burger special with a side for 10.99. I also ordered a side of potato skins . When I got there, I pulled and was greeted and helped within a few minutes. The burger was good but definitely needed some seasoning. Had a horrible time here at the bar ... I walked in on a Monday day night ... came In for happy hour at 9 pm we only had 2 rounds we ordered the 3rd round with James and Melanie and after 25 mins of waiting for the third round I asked for the drinks again, Melanie said we were cut off cause we " looked" drunk. This came to us as a surprise because we were all in gymwear and the other bartender was more lit than any of us. I am a regular at this bar and this has never happened. It's been a love-hate relationship for too long, but based on my latest experience, I'm ready to simply stop going. It's a dark place inside and the tables are generally still a bit dirty and/or sticky when we're seated. The staff is friendly and nice if it's a slow time, but they turn uncaring and unresponsive when it gets busy (not all, but many of them do). The food selection is good, the prices are reasonable and the portions are always generous; unfortunately, the taste is just middle of the road, and sometimes overcooked. When they get a big group, the small tables are mostly neglected. On our last visit, one of the servers became so mean-spirited that she lashed out to a customer so badly that some of her colleagues had to physically restrain her. That level of disrespect is where I draw the line and I will not be going back. read more

Large portions, quality food with plentiful options, and great Floridian ambiance that feels homely. The perfect hangout spot only emphasized by the fact that I've never been to one of these restaurants and it hasn't been slam packed. The parking situation at this location needs help because of it, cars were crammed in everywhere like people were playing Tetris. Was going to be a 30 minute wait for the table, so we booked it to the bar. Service at the bar was friendly and efficient at first. Once our orders were placed it was nearly impossible to get the waitress' attention after that. Down a star for that reason. I'd deal with these minor inconveniences for the flavors of the food any day. 8/10 read more

I just went to pick up my order which it was BBQ ribs, baked potato with everything on it and coleslaw salad. First the half of a rack was a lot smaller of what I had before dining in, the baked potato was hard ( seem to be old) and the coleslaw was cold and looked good but it was rotten, they keep all the old stuff refrigerated for the to go orders. Place was packed, and really, food has alway been incredible, but for some reason, the service and part of our orders when're not to their usual quality. We ordered a half a rack meal, a sirloin meal and a full rack or ribs, regular order. The sirloin was requested medium, it came well done, took us about 15 min for the waitress to come and Check even when we were trying to get any of the servers attention. They took it back with a crappy attitude, sirloin came back again well done, 25 min later. (I think they left it too long on the hot plate waiting). Ribs where fantastic, fries where cold and good at all. Service was not good at all, I would like to say because it was packed... but the bad attitude from everyone did not help. Then at the time of payment, they over charged us, when I complaint, it was like I was wrong, until they realized their mistake and quickly changed it not before taking the previous ticket and throwing it away. Not a great experience but would surely go back... maybe to another one or when it's not Sunday 2 pm. I would like to give it 1 star but the ribs were good! So 1 additional star for that. read more

This review is for my service, Juneteenth, Friday, lunchtime. VALERIA is a horrible and extremely rude and immature employee. Luckily I am not a regular weekday customer so I had never seen her despite the 20+ years I have gone there and supposedly she's been there for years yet apparently hasn't learned how to do her job yet. I also seen another review here about her rudeness. She asked if I wanted a menu yet i never got it, no biggie. I wasn't even provided the lunch menu. I ordered a Bloody Mary and she automatically upgraded to the premium vodka without asking pardon me if i am used to the weekend bartenders which i can't say enough about what great service they provide. They ask what liquor I prefer and they always tell me about new food items and specials and are professional and friendly. Then when i told the other bartender she said but you drank it which was offensive since to me I can't taste the difference between the house or the premium vodka and I hadn't looked at the ticket yet. VALERIA told me I should have been more specific, when she is the server And it's her job to ask me if I want premium vodka. So then Valeria said she refused to serve me, what a travesty. They never recognized my concern and were being defensive so I asked for the manager and instead of talking to me--he spoke to them- and went to deduct the difference which solved my initial problem but is no longer the point, i refused the deduction and paid full price because this point i wanted out of there while I was paying VALERIA was smirking and laughing in the background because apparently this was funny to her. With her bad attitude she should not be in the hospitality industry. And no apologies from anyone. I miss the days when German and his buddy were there. Don't expect 25- 30% tip for showing up and making me a drink. You already get paid for that. Provide the service and be professional that is how tips are earned. There are choices where people can spend their money and you are giving Flanigan's a bad name. I for one are disgusted with the one bad experiencia despiste the many good ones. read more
