I grew up being told that the most affordable would never be the best quality. That it was safe to settle in the middle of a handful of quotes...but Shift It moving really flipped this theory on its head. I move a LOT--every year since 2008-and this was by far the best experience. Wesley and Umberto were approachable, poised, and incredibly flexible. The cost was clear, more than fair, and even included overnight storage on a fairly long move. All of my stuff arrived undamaged and in the right room (despite having to load my couch from the roof of the truck over the balcony--which was crazy impressive) and was hauled over 290 miles! Our moving experience was the best it could've possibly been. Wesley and Tony are so great at what they do, they're professional, efficient, super nice and we were so lucky we went with them and not other movers. They even had to take a couple doors off to make our fridge fit from place to place which I'm sure was a huge pain for them. Oh and we also had really annoying bulky heavy furniture and it was nothing for them. They wrapped them up and got them into the truck like it was ikea furniture. It's hard to make a choice when every mover says a similar price and makes similar estimates - but candidly the reason I chose Wesley was because they were slightly cheaper. But the reason for the good review was because they were great to work with! The fellas were careful with my furniture and really packed it all in to the truck efficiently. They spent a fair amount of time wrapping every item with plastic. They were very friendly with my kids and me, and were able to fulfill all our odd requests (a fire pit on the third floor balcony...).
