    $150 Nigiri Plate

They charged me $150 for each plate. One of the worst party plates I've ordered. Waste of money. Food quality was not even great. Sushi rice had no taste at all. I would never go back..

My friends brought me to this amazing seafood place. We called in for reservations. We ordered the flatfish sashimi plate that was $250 and it was a 10-12 dish meal. We split it between 6 people. Everything tasted delicious and the service was also the best. The ambiance is an under the sea theme which was super cute. I would definitely come back again.

I was really craving sushi and was in the area. I called and ordered Spicy tuna roll Alaskan Roll Spicy scallop roll The woman who took and gave me my order was nice and I appreciated her service! I thought the salmon and scallop were very fresh! I did like the spicy tuna roll, but overall, the sushi was not for me. Both the Alaskan Roll and the Spicy scallop roll seemed very disconnected. I think it's because the rice want sticky enough, so it felt like I was eating each ingredient on its own. I would also recommend eating the sushi without the soy sauce because it was super salty and it overpowered the sushi.

Awsome food i have been here so many times with my friends and family and honestly i have never had something bad too say. The people there are so nice they always provide outstanding service. such a beautiful place as well very comfortable to eat there (semi private). My favorite rolls are the Godzilla roll, Creamy crab and shrimp tempura roll. I recommend the fried rice it's so good too.

The sushi was fantastic! Very appealing menu that offers a wide variety of classic rolls and signature modern twists. The sashimi was very fresh and nice thick cuts! The service was phenomenal! Very friendly staff that want to make sure your visit is a good one. Highly recommend for good sushi!

The plaza where the restaurant is at could be very packed on weekend nights so be aware that it might take you very long time to find parking. Much easier to find parking during weekdays. I ordered sashimi bibimbap ($22) - a premium choice for poke. I personally don't like poke because of the bad quality of the fish. But this sashimi bibimbap has pretty fresh sashimi. Portion is big too. So even if it's pricey compared to your normal poke bowl, I recommend this over poke. Environment is nice too.

We absolutely love it here. If you are a nigiri lover, they have excellent quality options and take a ton of care. Super fresh, expertly cut. Also really nice generous welcoming people! The rolls are delicious too, and awesome value. We need to make sure this place is packed so it sticks around! I never do reviews but feel compelled in this instance.

They said $85 on the phone, but charged $120. Lied on the phone. Complete rip off. Trust me. I get sushi regularly. Do not go here.

This spot is perfect to celebrate a family birthday or have a big gathering out on a weekend dinner! They take precaution for COVID with masks and gloves and sanitizing. The atmosphere was very well lit and clean. This is my second time coming here and I'm still blown away about the freshness of the food and the quality of the dishes. The workers are very friendly and checked up on us often.

I ordered the hwedupbap (Korean sashimi rice) as pictured & really enjoyed it. I liked that it was really fresh, they gave us a lot of sashimi and provided the perfect ratio of ingredients. They even gave us little side dishes and offered us miso soup (pretty standard for korean sushi restaurants). We went there during lunch time on a Saturday, and it was pretty quiet. Everything was also very clean - would go again when we're in the area!

You have to come here for the limited $19 special you get 4 dishes and so much food!!!

This is my go-to sushi spot in the suburbs. I wish they had a spot in the city, it would save me from the drive but it is worth it visiting my parents in the suburbs each time. I like that they have an anniversary special right now for only $19 which includes several courses from sashimi, chirashi, tempura, appetizer. It is a lot of food for the amount and I always get full which is hard when I go out to eat sushi/japanese food. I like that the fish is fresh and they have tanks of other seafood that they can grab and serve right away like squid to other items that I don't see very often in seafood restaurants. My other favorite item is hay-dup-bap which is an array of sashimi pieces in a bed of rice and vegetables which you mix with a spicy sauce.

Looking around, this appeared to be a very family-friendly establishment, as that was, by far, the most prominent type of connoisseur in the house on this evening! Our waitress was wonderful, and helped us with some recommendations upon us letting her know it was our first visit! She checked in with us frequently, and made sure drinks were always refilled promptly! We had a bunch of different items, and all were very good! We tried sushi rolls, beef noodles, and ramen. I'd have to say that the beef noodles probably were the best item for me! Within minutes, the restaurant was completely packed, both indoors and outdoors.  There were guests waiting to be seated throughout the evening. If you visit on a busy night like this one, be prepared to allow longer time for the food to come to the table. I could see that some of the dishes were ready on the kitchen counter waiting to be delivered to the tables, but they seemed to be a bit short-handed, especially for the tables in the patio. Our server took our order at 7:10 pm, and it took 24 minutes for our food to come out at 7:36 pm. It was fine as we were not in a hurry. The décor of Blowfish is modern and comfortable.  Our server, Bu, was friendly, cheerful, efficient, and professional.  Both my husband and I ordered a Hot Green Tea ($2 x 2).  I ordered a Sakura Roll ($17), with crab mix, jalapeño, avocado, seared white tuna, white truffle oil, wasabi mayo, sweet soy sauce, and scallions.  It was beautifully presented and packed with flavors.  There were 9 pieces and I shared 1 with my husband who also liked it.  I ate some of the pieces whole and dissembled some of them, each of the ingredients was fresh and tasty, together they created complex flavors that didn't need any other sauces or wasabi.  It's a great choice that I'd happily order it again. My husband had a Black Garlic Tonkotsu Ramen ($18), with silky tonkotsu broth, pork chashu, kikurage, nitamago, scallions, corn, spinach, roasted seaweed, sesame, and black garlic oil.  The bowl of ramen looked attractive.  I asked him how it tasted; he said that it was one of the best bowls of ramen he's ever had!  Wow! That's high praise coming from him, I don't think I've ever heard him saying that before!  He said that there's a nice kick even though it was not noted on the menu.  I am intrigued and will definitely try it in our future visits. He also ordered 2 pieces of sashimi -- Hamachi/yellowtail ($8).  There seemed to be a misunderstanding, and two orders of sashimi were entered instead of one.  Since the sashimi portions were fairly small, he didn't bring it up to the server, he just happily ate them and paid the bill for 2 orders ($8 x 2).  The sashimi was fresh. We also ordered a Dragon Roll ($16) to go, that had shrimp tempura, BBQ eel, avocado, and cucumber.  It was also very good. Overall, we were delighted to discover Blowfish. Between the welcoming service, fresh, flavorful food, and comfortable atmosphere, it was an excellent dining experience. We'll definitely be back.

The wait staff gave us time to just browse the menu without coming to us too quickly which really appreciated. We ordered the following: 1. Miso soup (I gave 4.5 stars) I really enjoyed it for the flavor. 2. Cucumber salad (4 stars) they give a large portion, marinated and thinly sliced cucumber with a sesame sprinkle on top. My partner said it would be a 5 if it was marinated for less time because it seemed a little floppy. Either too thinly sliced or marinated too long. He was looking for a crunch. 3. Tuna lobster sushi roll. (4 stars) I didn't expect it to be ground tuna on top, I was envisioning just a mix of lobster and tuna, this was pretty ground and then spicy as well. It was still good, I didn't expect the spice I guess because it was in the mayo? The wait staff explained it. I do think the menu should reflect spicy dishes with some sort of symbol to help. Fresh ingredients though. I'll definitely finish this. 4. Sunrise salmon poke bowl. (4 stars) my partner wanted to rate this 4.5 but a pretty significant fish bone went into his mouth and poked him. Otherwise, flavor was good, fresh fish, he loves the colors and said it's "beautiful." 5. Gyoza. (3 stars) This was kind of soggy or mid. The outside was flavorful, the beef inside was bland. Thanks for having us!

We ordered chicken karaage, potstickers, salmon avocado sushi, and I had the katsu sandwich. All the food items we ordered came separately over a span of 20+ minutes, with the sandwich arriving last and cold. Not only did the sandwich come on a cold sourdough bread, the meat also had an unusual texture and so I ended up throwing it out. The other items we ordered were lacking in flavor. So we got out of the car and saw someone pull up in front of the restaurant and jump out at 11:59. As soon as the door was unlocked at 12pm, this customer went in, and a few others after them. This is a small joint, and it was already half full by the time we ordered, then sat down (they told us the table at which to sit). I didn't know, but asked, and found out that a salad bar and miso soup are also included. The salad bar was pretty decent, with fresh vegs. They even had French fried onions (my guilty pleasure) and a very good House dressing (ginger vinaigrette). The portions are enormous. The couple next to us got ramen, and it was practically overflowing. We ordered takoyaki (too much food, we didn't need). I had the Pork Katsu bowl and my companion had a Katsu curry. I wished I had ordered the curry -- it looked dark and rich and thick like pudding (not like a boxed curry). They also gave us a bonus piece of chicken karaage which was so large and crispy. I think I'll get the curry next time, or the ramen. We originally came because we were going to get a karaage sando, but get the curry.
