My second time here. We came for my sons birthday last night and had a great time. Very chill environment! Good music, dim lighting, and delicious food! Service was fantastic. We did not get our waitresses name but she was super sweet and helpful. Everyone was great! We ordered a few drinks and appetizers to start. Spicy edamame, gyoza, and shrimp tempura. For the rolls we ordered Lil Devil, Fire Cracker, OMG roll, Salmon Tower, Kronic and the Volcano Roll. The Salmon Tower Is loaded with flavor! So good. My favorite roll was the Fire Cracker Roll. The drinks were pretty good. They don't have a big selection but that's okay. We just wanted a drink to toast my sons birthday to. We ordered Tito's with cranberry and Tito's with OJ (upon request). They were so nice about accommodating that drink for us. Everyone was great here. We ran into a young man (maybe manager/owner?) outside while were walking out, very kind. Sushi Domo is one of my favorite sushi spots in DFW! Their happy hour specials are incredible. I've yet to try something that I wouldn't come back here and eat again. Literally every item on their happy hour is worth getting. (But especially the Tuna Carpaccio, Salmon Ceviche, and the Garlic Noodles!) Our go-to orders have been the Kronic roll, Firecracker Roll, California Roll, and Spicy Tuna Roll. (Do yourself a favor and get the Kronic roll... I could eat it every day!) Absolutely delicious sushi and clean environment. However, if you during happy hour they automatically add a 20% tip to your bill regardless of the amount of people in your party. If over 5 or 6 people, they add 22% tip. I disagree with the automatic 20% tip, especially when it's less than 5 people. read more

This sushi place is a vibe. It's still pretty dark, 1 year later haha. The edamame is kind of a weird choice. I've had some really delicious spicy or spicy garlic edamame but this one was literally just chili paste put on top of the pods... the flavors don't really mix well. We ordered the Yelp special with the potstickers, you get 4 instead of 6 and they are deep fried vs pan friend. We ordered them both ways and I honestly couldn't tell the difference. For my main meal I got the California roll and the roll to try something new. I actually really enjoyed the roll! The deep fried batter was perfectly crunchy/flaky but not hard to eat and the cream cheese taste was good. We also had an order of and I thought it was tasty too. They have happy hour specials, but we weren't there in the time frame for that. All in all, you just have to know what to order and avoid certain things... Was recommended this place from Arlington Foodies, specifically their happy hour, and it was fantastic. Going during happy hour is SO worth it - rolls and some other food options are also on happy hour in addition to some drinks. Very rude waitress with short hair and an even worse owner. The sushi was just ok. Nothing to be amazed about. I told them about a bad roll and yes they took the plate away but with a terrible attitude and eyes rolling. The owner was like if you don't like my food then leave. This place is sketchy for sure. Tried once before to come but left because they said cash only. We were the only patrons there. Will not return again. The food is good but service a bit odd. We have eaten here many times with no issues. Today we get there at 4:00 pm they are closed. No sign on the door or anything indicating they are closed at this time. We go to the car and someone unlocks the door and turns on the open sign. I am skeptical to go back in but I do, as the others I am with wanted to eat here. I ask do they normally close at this time everyday. The lady that seated us said it was personal and we do not like to tell our business. She then tells the owner he comes to our table with an attitude and ask if I had a problem. I said no and asked if they were closed daily at that time. With an attitude he said most Asian restaurants close from 2-4 but we are open 24 hours. Ok, I didn't know that and there was no sign on the door so I asked the question. Needless to say, I got up and left because he was rude. Been going here irregularly for years and it never fails to impress. I don't know why I've never written a review before. They make one of the better Salmon skin rolls I've ever had, and a number of their specialty rolls are combinations I've never had anywhere else. Sushi chef (and I believe owner/manager?) is attentive and chatty. All the servers have been unfailingly friendly and quick to greet, bring drinks, bring sushi as it's completed, and clean up. Music is a little bit club-vibey, but not so loud that conversations end up being shouted. Interior is dark when you first enter but your eyes adjust. I frequent this establishment on many occasions, however this visit was under satisfactory and below their standards. I have never in my 31 years of existence had an experience with an ultra rude waitress and passive aggressive owner. Upon arrival, we were never brought the necessities to properly enjoy our meal. We ordered drinks and an appetizer despite the lack of plates, forks, chopsticks we still made due. We place our first order and conversed until the food came out. Still not having the proper utensils and noticing our waiter was taking an order; I went and asked the front attendant and she quickly assisted. We seen she was also busy so we saved our other food and requested items for our waiter. After she took their order she did not turn to our table which was less than 2 feet away she went straight to the kitchen. We attempted to eat as best we could with no soy sauce or the wasabi/ginger combination. We saw her return from the kitchen with a tray of plates and condiments. Then she proceeds to drop it off at the table that just ordered ALL without ACKNOWLEDGING us. My friend said "excuse me miss" and she turned around in a rush as we the paying patrons were a bother. How dare us ask you for something we need to enthusiastically eat our food. We asked for a beer, the condiments and before I could even put my order in she hurried off like we were done talking. Now I'm getting a little irritated because we understand the rush, and let her slide on a lot, but now I'm feeling disrespected. I ask the same lady I used before when our server was busy if she could send the manager whenever she gets a chance. When our waiter came back she placed 1 sushi set on the table of 3 with 4 sushi plates as if that was enough and as if we were suppose to share during these multiple pandemics that are ongoing. She then had time to check on us and I added to my order despite my subpar experience thus far. She leaves to put our order in and comes back demanding who asked for the manger and why. After our heated back-and-forth conversation that should've never been had, she proceeds to go get the manager who I asked for in the first place and the items that I never received cause she felt it was more important to argue with me furthermore proving my point that she a bad server. The owner/manager and I know he holds both titles cause as I said at the beginning, I visit this place often. He comes over matching the same negative energy she had with excuses such as "good help is hard to find.." "I'm just trying to give people jobs.." etc. After my friend stepped and we waited for the rest of our food. Which STILL came out wrong (Volcano Roll menu stated it comes out with a FLAME and my prior dining experience confirms. This time it was brought out without it.) The waiter also proceeded to give the other patrons at my table a to-go bag while I had to carry mines out like a barbarian. In concluding, the food has always been amazing at this establishment. But until they get a better front service team it's going to cost the back office money. read more

Heard so many people recommending this place in the Asian Grub Facebook. Knew I had to give them a try, and support the local business during this weird time. Customer service was great! Called to place my order for pick up. It was ready in 20 minutes. I was able to go in and out of the restaurant with a breeze. Kudos to them. (They did ask us to tip over the phone, but I told them I'll do it when I get there and pay) I ordered sushi nigiri, escolar nigiri, Alaskan roll, Salmon Skin roll, and Firecracker roll.
