What a great place to celebrate a special occasion! I took my fiancé here to celebrate his birthday, and we were both blown away by the entire experience. The ambiance was very relaxing and quiet, with a water feature and fountains in the center of the restaurant. I enjoyed getting paired up with other strangers at our table to enjoy the food being cooked in front of us. For soup, salad, the main entrée, and ice cream, it was definitely more affordable than I was imagining considering the high quality of the whole experience. I'd highly recommend!

Unsanitary food storage. Y'all be the be the judge of the picture ‍ Raw chicken was all over raw steak. Put the straws in drink beforehand, never seen that before in a restaurant.

Couldn't get enough of the marble drink. Kids love it. They need more variety though.

We came to celebrate a special birthday! It was our first visit- and I had heard so much about the restaurant, I was expecting an elegant, Japanese restaurant. The ambiance is really lacking. It's just dark and too enclosed and boxed in. We enjoyed the dinner - sadly, we didn't get the funny and entertaining chef at our table. I mean, we'll definitely come back for the food and the service, but I wouldn't want to celebrate a special occasion there again.

Love this place!!! Best fish ever!!!!!

I love this place! There are other places similar in Tulsa but nothing compares. The quality of the food is second to none. The fish is the best I have ever had anywhere. The 7 courses and the show is well worth the prices, which are really good for dinner and a show. The fried rice is a must.

I usually order the filet cooked medium rare and it is scrumptious! If you are lucky you get an experienced chef.

The food was absolutely delicious and every bite was so amazing. Starting with the appetizers, we had pork belly and crab cakes. Both of which were spectacular. For dinner I enjoyed a seafood bisque. Next I had the trio because I just could not make up my mind on what protein I wanted to enjoy. Let me tell you, I didn't go wrong as having the pork belly again, the filet and the salmon hit the spot. As did the mix medley veggies. While it was a business dinner, others, like me, spent more time discussing the great food than anything else. The restaurant interior was cute and the overall air of the room felt classy and matched what was delivered on the plate. Last, our waiter was just exceptional. His recommendations and the delivery of the menu options was on point. I just cannot say enough wonderful things about this restaurant.

Upon arriving at my table, I was offered still and sparkling water to drink and my server was very attentive to my needs and kept both of my water glasses full. I ordered the chicken piccata. The chicken picatta came with a generous helping of three pieces of chicken served with a buttery pan sauce and capers alongside whipped potatoes. The chicken was excellently cooked and was tender and moist with ever-so-slightly crisped edges. The sauce was tangy and the capers added a bite that worked perfectly with it on a way that really made the chicken piccata shine as a dish. The whipped potatoes did not have a lot of flavor on their own, but meshed well with the pan sauce. At the conclusion of the meal, the check came with an Andes mint. I love those, and while it is a small gesture, it made me smile and improved my evening just that little bit more. This was a great experience with great food! 4.5/5

Located downtown, parking appears to be mostly street parking--I didn't notice a dedicated lot nearby. Inside, the restaurant is long and narrow with bar seating, hanging plants, and an open wood-fire grill that immediately sets the vibe. We sat in the back room, which is darker and not quite as charming as the main dining area. It was also verrrry warm. When we mentioned it, our waiter's sarcastic comment about it being hot outside caught us a little off guard, but thankfully it did seem to cool down afterward. Now THE FOOD. The fire-roasted carrots with whipped tahini were unreal. Tender without being mushy, smoky, and absolutely packed with flavor. I ate most of the plate and regret nothing. The empanadas were buttery, soft and flaky with a chimichurri sauce I would've happily put on everything. My Campfire Atlantic Salmon was the star--perfectly cooked with this incredible smoky, citrusy flavor that carried through the whole plate. Even the kale had me excited, which feels like an accomplishment. The artichoke au gratin was creamy, loaded with artichokes, and had a great crunchy texture on top. Portions are generous enough that my dinner became lunch the next day. Our table also tried the filet, pasta, and another salmon. Everyone was happy. I sampled the crab-and-corn pasta--it was good, just not personally my thing. The filet was tender with a glaze my friend loved, although I'd probably order mine without it. We finished with the strawberry rhubarb cobbler + vanilla ice cream--tangy, sweet, warm, cold, crunchy, creamy...basically I didn't want to share. Service overall was attentive without hovering, plates disappeared quickly, and everyone's drinks were beautiful and well received. Bathrooms were clean and well-kept, too. Six years of walking past this place was enough. Those carrots and that salmon have officially brought me to my senses. I'll be back.

Out of this world sauces that not only complimented the dishes, but freaking saved them! I ordered the sea bass and although it was cooked well, the flavoring was mid at best. As for the vegetables, they were cooked quite "rare". More like a charcuterie style crispy than I had expected. Same for my boyfriend's potatoes. I don't think vegetables is a lost cause, just more so an opportunity for improvement. His steak was delightful. Ambience: Such a fun environment! We did chefs counter and it reminded us of being back home in the city. Final thoughts. Would come back but would lean into dishes with sauces because a sauce god is employed here.

First, the outdoor alley entrance is fun/non-assuming. Once in, the decor is moody and perfectly dark/speak-easy-ish, much like a private underground club. Very impressive. We had cocktails/wine and ordered the Wedge Salad and the Ceaser Salad. Both were amazing, but my husband stated that the Ceaser was the best he had ever had. My Wedge Salad had bountiful amounts of flavorful blue cheese and amazing bacon chunks that made this the best salad I had ever had. We then ordered the petite filet (Medium) and Brussel sprouts and put a chocolate cake on order "to go". Highly recommend all of the above. The chocolate cake is "go big or go home" for sure. It hardly fit in two combined to go boxes. It was chocolatey, not overly dense, and the frosting complimented it perfectly! We cannot give enough high praise to Brook for the recommendations and for just making it a super fun vibe. I would gladly book a flight from San Diego just to go to dinner again at this place! I just kept waiting. For our main courses we had the bone-in pork chop. Thick, juicy, and properly rested paired with red mashed potatoes.... Which were very good. The seasonal corn - was gone so quick! It was just so delicious. Ate that right up!! The shrimp scampi leaned heavily into garlic and butter in the best possible way. Shrimp were big, tender and juicy. Unfortunately my rotisserie chicken.... was very dry. I kept choking because of that. I was unable to eat it, that was disappointing. For me the cherry on top is their pay it forward meal. For $15 you can buy a meal for someone in need. They hand you a receipt that you pin to a board. Then when someone needs a meal they can go in and grab one off the board. They offer them their lunch special. While I was there I saw a very grateful individual come in and get a meal.
