I found that extremely rude and unnecessary. I also ordered two pup cups with peanut butter, but unfortunately, that portion of our order was incorrect as well. Instead of what I ordered, we received regular pup cups with a Milk-Bone. While this may seem like a small detail, when a customer specifically orders something a certain way--especially when it is for their pets--it's important that the order is prepared correctly. What bothered me even more was what happened next. After I stepped away from the window, I heard Emily greet the next customer very warmly--asking how they were and how she could help them. It was a noticeably different level of friendliness and hospitality from what I had just received. Every customer should be treated with the same level of courtesy, respect, and professionalism. I'm not simply someone passing through town; I recently purchased a home on Mystic Island and genuinely enjoy supporting local businesses. However, it makes it difficult to want to continue supporting a small business when you leave feeling as though you were treated differently from the customer standing right behind you. With that said, your ice cream was absolutely fabulous, and your sundae selection is top-tier! There is clearly a lot to love about your business. I've visited twice now and each time has been better than the last. The shop is under new ownership, and Mike (the new owner) is awesome. Super friendly, easy to talk to, and clearly passionate about making this place special. You can feel the good vibes as soon as you walk in.
