Henry, the bartender is fantastic, friendly and knows his wine. I just ask for his red wine recommendation and he never disappoints. No beer taps but there is a good variety of canned and bottles. Generous mixed drinks. JD is the chef here and does a lot of creative food. He is very passionate about food and knows how to not only make a great burger but ramen as well! The great thing is my husband and I sometimes crave different types of food. There is. A lot of variety at Shotti's so everyone can order something they like and we don't get bored of the food. We were visiting for h2oi this weekend and stopped in for lunch. We got the pretzel w dip appetizer, bmore wings, and the crabcake sandwich. Overall the food was better than good, but not amazing. It was little things like the beer cheese dip wasnt good(w pretzels), not really hot food, the crabcake sandwich looked great but was bland and not enough sauce. The wings were BOMB though flavor wise. The service was quick, and the beer selection was nice. I would come here again for the wings. read more

But let me tell ya something, this place has some of the best bar food I've ever tasted. They make it with love and compassion since they know how hard their customers have it with their upsetting lives, so the food and drink specials really hit home for them. I got myself a orange crush and I thought it was gonna be made with fabuloso cleaning soap like the Charles does, but man was I wrong. They got fresh picked oranges from their orange tree and squeeze the PERFECTION out of fruits to make me such an outstanding drink that was a reasonable price. The rhino chaser is a must have app that you should get if you are with a group of people and the sandwiches are also top notch. A fun atmosphere with friendly servers. And the crab soup was delicious. However, my server apparently knew a lot of the customers that night and spent all her time talking with them. She only checked on me when I called her over, and it took a lot to make that happen. While the soup was delicious, the fish with the fish and chips was way overcooked. Stopped in after visiting Fort McHenry on our way to the O's game. Location is perfect for that. Service was a little slow, but nice, and cool, it's busy - makes sense. Menu is very promising, great selection. The issue is that as a table of four, we waited an hour for our food (chicken tacos, quesadilla, salad - nothing that should take *that* long) after ordering, which again, it's busy, cool, but - just let us know. We were told, "It'll be right out," and waited another 25 minutes. I visited the bar to offer to pay our drink tab and head out and was told it was being plated - food came out like 5 minutes later - not sure how plating takes that long. The food was good, not amazing, but we were unfortunately soured on the experience by then. Point is that accurate communication goes a long way...they did comp our one beer and iced tea, which was kind and makes sense. It's safe to say that Shotti's Point in Federal Hill has easily become one of my favorite places to stop in for a quick bite to eat and a drink. Since discovering it a week ago, I have been back two more times and each time the quality has been consistent. A friend and I were walking down Fort Avenue looking for a spot to grab a beer, watch the game and grab a quick bite to eat away from the crowds in Federal Hill. The teal exterior brought us inside and the relaxed beachy feel is why we decided to stay. When I was looking over the menu, the Rhino Chaser fries really caught my eye. The fries are a large portion topped with rosemary, thyme, parsley, sea salt, garlic, parmesan, a drizzle of balsamic glaze and white truffle aioli for dipping. Hands down, these may have been some of the best fries I've ever had. And fries are something I order constantly. Each time I've visited, we have ordered this dish and it has been demolished and loved by everyone in the group. For our main course, I went with my friend who really loves a good bowl of chili, so not surprising, that's what she decided to order. She said it was good, but not great. She would have preferred it to have more of a soup consistency rather than meat in sauce. She also didn't love the addition of olives to the chili but this didn't deter her from wanting to come back in the future. I decided to order something significantly more simple. We were in a bar after all to watch a game and drink some beers. I ordered the Wings with Mild Shotti Sauce. The sauce was a blend of hot sauce, garlic and spices. These were good, I wish a touch spicier but I'm not sure if I could have handled the spicier version. However I did return and order the Zippy Can-A wings due to my waitresses recommendation and I preferred the flavor of those much better. They were sweet with a sneaky heat of spice. If you're looking for a place to grab a bite to eat, drink a beer, and watch the game and want to escape the Fed Hill crowds, Shotti's Point is the place for you. While you're there, make sure to pick up an order of the delicious Rhino Chaser Fries, no meal is complete there without them. read more

I love this place! The food is always good and the local vibes is top notch. Things are pretty crazy during this quarantine, but Shotti's is still open and serving the Bmore community with food and drinks. They are keeping it safe too which I love! They have a window to order and pick up food and adult beverages. They are also taking phone in orders to eliminate the interactions. I had the Tortola wings (Jerk spice and a tropical sauce), my girlfriend had the LP wings (Old Bay with their scratch-made buffalo on the side). Both orders of wings were meaty and crispy. There are plenty of televisions to watch your favorite sporting event. Our bartender agreed to turn on the game audio once our game started. We split the brussel sprouts (they were so amazing and flavorful) and the crab balls (great presentation and also really good). This is my new favorite place! Stumbled upon it by just walking down Fort Ave looking for a dinner spot. We walked in and immediately saw people at the bar eating delicious and big portions of shrimp and mussels so we decided to start with some of our own. We got the mussels with the preparation that includes Old Bay, onions, potato, and sausage. I am sorry I forget the name (they have like 5 different ways to prepare them). The mussels we got might actually be one of the best mussels I have ever had and I have tried a lot of mussels in my day. I love Ale Mary's and Mamas on the Half and these were just as awesome! You get a large portion for $11 or $12. After the mussels I got a crabcake for my entree and my boyfriend got the 12th street club. My crabcake was good and satisfied the craving but not the best I've ever had. My boyfriend loved his sandwich. It was huuuuge! We love this place and will be back very soon! We popped in here for a drink while waiting for a table down the street. It was one of the few places in the area open on a Sunday night, and was pretty lively with a varied crowd. We enjoyed the decor of the space - you can tell its just developed to be this way - covered in stickers and photos and history. We each had a cocktail, a strawberry lemonade smash and a classic margarita. The strawberry lemonade smash tasted like melted lollipop. If sickly sweet is your thing, this may be a good choice. The classic margarita had a slightly 'off' note to it and was clearly made from a mix. Good vibes here, but I would avoid the cocktails - even though they are advertised as specials. read more

We went on Thursday and were able to get the taco deal for everyone to split for an appetizer. Then we got wings, fish n chips, and a chicken wrap. All was very good and the service was strong. There was one gentleman that must have been new because he couldn't answer many questions but the waitresses were great. One in particular helped us with all of our questions but I forgot her name. I had steak tacos with goat cheese and fresh pico. 3 tacos per order. Every bite was packed with flavor. Also tried the zippy Cana wings. A pound of wings, between 8-10. Great chill bar with excellent food that is certainly a notch above bar food. We went here with a few friends to watch the Ravens game and were surprised by the quality of the food and atmosphere! Must have been an off-day or something based on other reviews. Came with a party of 4 and can't say anybody particularly enjoyed their food. Wings (Buffalo, garlic + parm I believe) were over-fried to the point of being quite dry. Being under-sauced only exasperated this issue. Fish tacos off of the specials menu were decently tasty, but quite small and perhaps a bit heavy on the wasabi crema. I do appreciate the variety on the menu; however, I can't say anything we tried (out of 4-5 dishes) was executed superbly well. Would be willing to try again in the future based on previous rave reviews, just cannot say it lived up to expectations the first time around. read more

Shotti's Point is BY FAR my favorite place to eat, drink, grab a glass of wine after work or watch a game in the South Baltimore area! Everything they make is fresh, not frozen, and you can tell it really makes a difference. The owner and his staff come up with all their own recipes and dishes so that there's always something new to try. I would highly recommend getting the Rhino Chaser Fries (make sure to bring someone to share them with!), Pirate Chili, any type of the shrimp, mussels or wings, and definitely a Soft Shell Crab when on special!
