We have tried a few Brazilian steak houses, and felt like this one is very good. All the meats we had was not dry or tough and very juicy. The meats did not come too fast and the wait staff respected the green and red whether to bring more meats over. Their salad bar was not bad and included sushi (first time for me). The only issue I have was the seasoning of the meats. I am one to like salt and I felt most were too salty. If I say it is salty then must be mouth numbing to others. We had dinner reservations here 4/14 with another couple. We have been waiting patiently for this steakhouse to open and was excited to come check it out! We arrived early and was seated promptly. As with many other Brazilian steakhouses, you would treat yourself to all you can eat salad and fruit bar. You have a card to flip..red light (stop, I'm full/enjoying my meal) and green light (go, you can serve me). Out of the whole dinner, I would say the SERVICE was the best yet! These are high energy people giving high service. We were checked on the entire time, anything we wanted, they noticed things and kept the service up whether its refilling water, sodas, clearing out old plates and giving us new plates, asking what we want to try or haven't tried yet, asking how the food was, etc. It has been a LONG TIME since we have gotten this level of service anywhere and I hope they continue to keep this up because that itself made the whole night! The meats was delicious! We got to try every single meat on the menu and some of my favorites were the Sirloin steak, Grilled chicken, Ribeye, chicken drumstick, grilled shrimp, grilled salmon, filet mignon and the lamb chops! You can ask for the done-ness level and the size of the meats. They really cater to your needs. The grilled pineapple is a must try! Absolutely stuffed...then arrives the dessert menu. I ordered the Passion Fruit Mousse. Very easy to eat..not too sweet. If you're full, this is a good dessert because it's mousse so you're not feeling like you're eating a whole cake! On top of all the meats, they give you mashed potatoes to share, fried bananas and many sauces. Get ready to eat and get ready to be served by the friendliest, most energetic people! Highly recommend this place! Best Brazilian Steakhouse in the Bay Area in my opinion :) I went on a Sunday evening at 6:30pm and about half of the restaurant was full. The staff greeted us, we mentioned we're celebrating a birthday, and he put a birthday sign on our table. Other staff walked by and wished us happy birthday as well. The staff were also really attentive throughout the night, asking if there were any cuts of meat we wanted. We tried all of the meats except lamb. All were cooked so well. Not overly salted like many other Brazilian Steakhouses. The Bottom Sirloin was the only meat that was tough. The Chicken Leg was surprisingly tender and juicy. But the star was definitely the Beef Rib. It's the first time I've experienced "melt-in-your-mouth" meat omg. The ambiance is intimidate and romantic. Perfect for celebrating special occasions. Made even more special with complimentary dessert (flan)! The only thing lacking was the sushi. It was actually good, but they stopped adding more during the time we were there. If you're driving back to SF, I recommend timing it so your meal ends a little before sunset. That way you can go to Battery Spencer or drive across the Golden Gate Bridge during sunset. read more

We went here for Mother's Day dinner - and even with a 7:15pm reservation, they were busy - now we see why! Immediately, the environment is chaotic. Tables are right up against each other and it didn't feel very intimate. The fast paced environment felt rushed. The decorations around the restaurant were beautiful, but the table decor made it less appealing. (Made it feel like hometown buffet from back in the day) Service wise, we were impressed. For a busy night our server was very attentive and fast. The food stole the show! For all you can eat meat, the meat was flavorful, juicy, and not too salty! (Aside from the meat, i highly suggest the grilled pineapple, fried cheese with honey, and the plátanos they bring to the table. As for the buffet, pretty good quality options - I was also pleasantly surprised at the sushi quality for it all you can eat. Melts in your mouth! Came here for lunch time and it was a good experience. Half of the restaurant was utilized because of slower foot traffic, I'm sure. Meats were all around tender and juicy. There was a time in my younger years when I wanted to go to fancy restaurants. Or I guess fancy is not the word in this modern world. Fancy as in expensive hip restaurants with notable chefs. I made good money, and I went to those fancy restaurants. And what I've found is that many of them can be hit or miss. Pay $150 for a dinner for two, and sometimes it is amazing, and other times, it's...meh! As I've gotten older and stopped chasing money to fulfill my worth, I've learned that going for a celebration meal, all I really want is MEAT. I don't know if it has something to do with my Asian heritage or what, but I just don't feel like most of those fancy restaurants are worth what I pay. And what I really want.... is MEAT. A buffet of MEAT. For my birthday, I wanted to come here, but it was on a Monday and it didn't work out, so we went somewhere else instead. And so, for Valentine's Day my husband asked me if I wanted to go to Show de Carnes -- talk about a man after my heart! And I tell ya, it's good. I've been to other Brazilian steakhouses before, and Show de Carnes is just as superb. Many varieties of meat as well as buffet items including sushi. All of the cuts of meat were good. I think the sirloin was my favorite, but honestly what really stole it was the pan fried cheese that they drizzled honey over. OMG. All in all, I felt like the meat was flavorful and really well seasoned. I loved that you can taste the sea salt. Also the roasted pineapple was sooo good. I loved the spices on the pineapple - so sweet and warm and delicous. And of course, their chimichurri, fried banana, and those little cheese breads are amazing as expected. And of course, we got caprinhas, which were STRONG. Our waitress recommended the caprinha tower, and we were glad we didn't get it, because we would had been super wasted. Looking around, it was interesting demographically. The % of asians in that restaurant definitely indexed higher than average in Marin County. And I think generally those with an ethnic background just appreciate a meat buffet than the average Marin person. It makes me feel strangely united with my ethnic bros and sisters. So yeah... if you like meat and looking to celebrate being alive, or being in love, or any reason at all.... Show de Carnes is a good place to do that.... with a buffet of meat. (And other deliciousness). Is it fancy? Well, it's in a shopping center with a Ross and a Target. So, define, 'fancy'. It is a nice setting inside and the food is amazing. My family, a party of 8 came for Christmas Eve dinner at 7pm. The place has great decor and was very comfortable. It was pretty busy as others had the same plans. I focused on the meats and did not spend much time at the salad bar. Now to the food! I tried all the beef cuts and passed on the chicken except for the hearts that were really tasty. The bacon wrapped pork was a little dry but would try it again. The cheese and honey was something I didn't know I needed in my life along with the fried pineapple! We had our 4yo nephew with us who was very entertained with the meat staff that would engage him and make him laugh. Our waiter was attentive and genuinely friendly as was most of the staff with the exception of the young waitress who I guess took over at some point. She was Spanish speaking as are we but her poor wait manners and then over repeated phrase "todo bien chicos" came off very rude. At one point she invaded my personal space to place silverware to other on my side instead of placing it individually for each diner. She ruined what would have been a 5 star meal and I do hope our generous tip was given to our Brazilian waiter! I think Show de Carnes is reasonably priced and is a great spot for groups to spend a few hours enjoying a very hearty meal. read more

Show de Carnes was an interesting experience for sure, and I imagine we will go back in the future with friends who haven't been there. The ambiance is nice but tables seemed too close in some parts of restaurant. The decor is okay but the centerpiece is the large cold bar which is colorful and inviting. When we arrived at 4:30, we went to the cocktail bar and were the only people sitting at it. The bartender was a friendly young lady who made us each a fantastic martini. About 5:15 we were given a nice table and told how the buffet worked. The cold bar is self service and it had a very nice selection of ready made salads, charcuterie, various cheeses, pickled items and other salad delights. The cold bar also included sushi, shrimp, New Zealand mussels, clams. The seafood was a nice touch but only mediocre at best although the mussels did make me happy. Servers brought us cooked plantains but not especially appetizing for us. They also included mashed potatoes and both steak and very tasty chimichurra sauces. Then the servers arrived with steaks of every variety freshly prepared, and they carved whatever you wanted. The ribeye was very good and the bacon wrapped filet mignon was cooked perfectly. They also had T bone, NY Strip, sirloin, and tri tip. Servers also brought delicious rolls with melted cheese and grilled pineapple. $80.00 is a splurge for sure but you are well fed with a large variety of delectables! read more

I discovered this place through an Instagram reel and my husband LOVES steak. I am personally not much of a meat eater, but when the Instagram reel showed that there was a sushi at the salad bar, I became interested! The red meats (filet mignon, bacon-wrapped filet mignon, sirloin, beef ribs, lamb, etc.) & others (bacon-wrapped chicken, chicken hearts, pork ribs, salmon, grilled pineapple, etc.) were all well-seasoned and cooked. It's amazing that they had a selection of sushi, it did taste a bit premade/store-bought but still great to have that available in addition to the meats. The salad bar (wide selection of sides, fruits, cured meats & fine cheese, etc.) just tops it all off and makes for a great dining experience! OVERALL: 5/5. Absolutely love this place! It's so nice to have a Brazilian steakhouse near by! Honestly, the service was amazing. We were constantly being checked on and asking if there's anything they can do or if we want to request any meats. Most places we've been to I feel like you get served then have to wait 5ish min before anything else comes by but not at this place! I had to turn my card over to red because they were coming so quick! The interior was simple but very beautiful. Extremely clean and crisp! The salad bar was the best I've seen (so much sushi) to drink I got the premium passion fruit caipirinha cocktail and it was delicious!
