I have no idea how this place managed to get 4.5 stars. Seems like you can't trust Yelp ratings any more. First and foremost the meat was terrible. Much of the meat tasted like it was cooked then frozen then cooked again and served. The meat had a very strange texture and they were all overcooked. The salad bar was fine but Fogos is better. The best thing was the cheese bread balls. It was better than other Brazilian places I've been to. The service was aggressive and pushy trying to upsell. The waiter kept challenging us when we said we didn't want a second round of drinks. Who does that? The location is up against a freeway in a mini mall in Marin City. There are faux leather couches outside in front of the entrance zip tied to the wall. The couches have cigarette burns all over them. The interior does not look great. We booked a reservation for a birthday celebration at 7:30 PM only to get there and be told that they overbooked and had us wait 30-45 more minutes. It took a long time before we get our drinks menu, and also took about 20-30 minutes before we got our drinks (that even had a fruit fly on it). We had a relatively large group but when being served water, it would only be half of the group that was served and had to wait another 10 minutes for the other half to get their water. The place has a similar ambiance like any other Brazilian steakhouse, nothing really special or different other than the sushi that was served, but also wasn't really fresh. We made reservations at Show De Carnes for my father in law's birthday dinner on a Saturday night. The restaurant is located in a shopping center so parking was nice and convenient. Came here for a friend's birthday and was not disappointed! It was my first Brazilian steakhouse experience in years, and I think we all left content and full. We had a reservation for 8 people Saturday evening at 7:30, and they seated us promptly when we arrived. Most of us opted for the salad bar + meat option, which is $71.95 pp. If there are any light eaters or vegetarians in the group, they can also opt for the salad bar only option for $45.95. Once we got settled, we started on the food by going to the salad bar to check it out and get some plates. The salad bar had a lot of options with raw and cooked veggies, pasta salad, cold cuts, salmon sashimi and nigiri plus assorted sushi rolls, and fruit. Everything I tried from the salad bar was good, and the salmon sashimi was decent quality as well. As soon as we got back from the salad bar, all the meat started coming, and it came fast. Before I knew it, my plate was already full! They have a menu of all the meats that come to your table, and according to that, there are a total of 19 items that are served. I kinda lost track of what was what, but from what I remember, my favorites were the ribeye, picanha, either the top or bottom sirloin, rack of lamb, grilled salmon, and grilled pineapple. Don't snooze on the grilled pineapple! It's SO good warm, especially with the cinnamon. I'm a huge fruit person, so that might've been my favorite grilled item of the meal. They're very good at accommodating your desired doneness as well, which I appreciated. Never have I ever come across all you can eat sashimi at a Brazilian barbecue restaurant before, but here we are, first time for everything. And what a full-filling (pun intended) experience it was! Beforehand, make sure to make a reservation. It'll just minimize the wait. Parking is easy (they have a huge lot). When you enter, prepared as it's relatively dark. When you're seated, you'll be given some warm pontikege (cheese rolls) and the drink menu. But soon after you get settled, the meat will start flying. As with most Brazilian barbecue places, they have servers come to each table to serve you some fresh roasts and if you are so inclined to accept their offering, you take up your little metal tong and grab the piece you're given. Be mindful of the little red/green card at your seat. It is supposed to be an indicator to the server that you are taking a break (red means stop) or ready to take more on your plate (green means go). They also have a salad bar in the middle of the room where you can peruse and serve yourself some cold cuts, cheeses, fruits, salads and most importantly sashimi and sushi rolls. The salmon sashimi go by fast, so keep an eye out for the little boat and make that mad dash to get your fill. Otherwise you may need to wait another 5-10 minutes before the next round. Of the meats that are served, the house favorite is the picanha (beef rump cap) which come in three flavors: normal, garlic Parmesan, and spicy. I'm particularly fond of the normal roasted picanha. Crispy outside, tender and juicy inside. Perfect cut of meat. Red meats also include sirloin, filet mignon, filet mignon in bacon, lamb, beef ribs, etc. Other meats included chicken wrapped in bacon, chicken sausage, pork ribs, etc. And grilled pineapple. You need to get this. It's topped with some cinnamon. It is divine! Ask the waiter for special requests. If there are certain meats you aren't seeing in the rotations as they come to your table, ask! We had to specifically ask for the pork and beef ribs. They come around with tequila shots every so often which gets a bit excessive after the first two times. There is also a dessert menu but let's be honest, that menu is never going to be opened and considered after you've loaded up on quality meats. At $72 a head for dinner, you are definitely paying premium. This isn't likely a place you'll go frequently and may not even break even in terms of value when you do go but the experience is worth at least a visit. When we went, there were at least two birthdays being celebrated. If it's your birthday, eat like a champion and show the meat what you're made of! read more

My family and I were the only one waiting outside for the last 20 minutes as we watched big parties leave the facility. I kept staring at the host until we made eye contact and she realized that I was still waiting. She obviously forgot about me, my name on the wait-list, and did not activate the pager that she gave me. After realizing that she forgot about us, she waved us to go in. There were 4 empty tables that seated 6 that she could have sat us in instead of making me wait. I was pretty upset at this point. The meat portion was delicious and great quality. Great variety from chicken, lamb, steak, and their special meat. I was disappointed that that kept skipping my table and the same meat kept coming over. I had to request for the pineapple guy to come over and even then he didn't. I had to wave him down like a crazy person. They only have the table of 6 (3 adults and 3 kids) two basket of their Brazilian bread, 4 fried bananas, and two tiny plates of mashed potatoes. I had to request more bananas and even then only received a plate of 2. The salad bar was a little disappointing. Thought they had all you can eat sushi but there were only two options of sushi to choose from. The clams were ok and so was the salad bar. We ended up ordering dessert (paid extra-at least $13 each dish) and got pretty much the entire dessert menu. Warning: tiramisu was dry and full of rum (not great for kids). Was a little disappointed in the bill. They charged one of the kids (the 12 year old) the adult price of $72 and the kids prices were $36. Totally not worth it because the kids barely ate anything and definitely not worth $36. It's not family friendly pricing at all. The adults barely ate $72 worth of food themselves. Only come here if you can eat $72 worth of food or if your child can eat $35 worth of food. Check your bill just in case they charge a child for an adult price. read more

Delicious meats and full salad bar with side dishes to change up the palate to your liking. Even on a Saturday lunch hour, the service was super fast: both servers of the cuts and other waitstaff. Within 1 minute of flipping our card to "green", we had 4-5 different cuts of meat on our plate. It was overwhelming but in a good way because we were so hungry. I wasn't sure if they took walk-ins so I made a reservation a few days prior just in case. But they seemed to have plenty of seating (only half the restaurant was used). I will say the sushi selection was a bit of a let down. I thought they'd have a nicer variety but most of the rolls had cream cheese which I am not a fan of. The other cheese and salad selections are great though. They even had a soup. Walking in, it was a little dark at first but then they turned on some soft overhead lighting that helped. You also have a little lamp at your table they turn on when they seat you to look at the menu or just adds to the ambiance. Pineapple and grilled cheese was our absolute favorite!
