Its located on a main street so its easy to get to, & They have a big parking lot, so its easy parking. The sales man was very friendly and helped me figure out how much carpet i needed. I picked out a nice carpet that was used at the auto show and you could hardly notice it was even used. I had them install it and they did a great job. I had two stairways and a bedroom carpeted about 300 sq ft. I received an awesome price and Don was great as he came out, measured, provided samples and said he would provide an estimate in 24 hours. I had one on my voicemail in an hour or one via email in about 3 hours. It was a Saturday so that is remarkable. I scheduled the install a couple weeks out as I had to install a stair skirt on the downstairs and wanted to ensure I have all furniture moved out. The installers arrived on time and spent about half the day installing. The carpet is amazing and I am so impressed. I can't believe I waited so long to get rid of our ugly Berber and tile. It is super soft with the 8lb pad underneath and can't believe I was able to get nylon carpet for the price I did. It looks beautiful. My only complaint is that when they removed the carpet on one stairway the old carpet had been glued down! When they pulled it up there was some "wall that came with it". Not their fault at all however, I wish they would have asked me if I wanted to paint the wall prior to installation of my new carpet. I understand this would delay the job and they can't do this and stay in business, hence why I did not remove any stars. I should have removed it myself and then I would have found this issue and would have proactively corrected it. Overall, this was a 5 star experience and I would definitely hire them again. I have been debating about whether to post a review or not -- in the end, I decided the story was too good to not share. I messaged Show Carpet through Yelp for a small re-floor project I was planning on my home. They responded promptly with an attractive bid, though it was lacking in specificity (probably a red flag?). We scheduled an in-home estimate. The gentlemen they sent out was great to work with (though he did arrive over 30 minutes late). After a brief chat, I was looking forward to giving them the business. Based on the conversation, I was planning on a small (maybe 10-15%) increase from the initial "un-seen" estimate. In fact, as the rep was leaving, he said they could probably get the hardwood at a lower price than any local outfit. I eagerly awaited the official estimate to be delivered the next morning. Sure enough, there was an e-mail waiting for me the next morning, so marks for promptness on that. Unfortunately, when I opened it, I thought it was a joke. The estimate increased almost three-fold (3x) from the original bid! Earlier, we had also received estimates from other providers, including some rather high-end flooring companies. Show Carpet's bid for the job was 30% higher than our previous high estimate! Again, there was no specificity as to "why" -- just a price, not a break-out of the services they would be providing. I called them back, expecting the rep to say something like, "Oh, but we'll give you the friends and family 50% discount." That being said, even with a straight 50%-off, the bid would have only been "competitive", not an automatic "yes". That's how far off-base it was relative to other things we have seen. Apparently, that was not the case. The rep said they were sticking to the original estimate. In response, the turn of phrase I used was, "You are not even in the ballpark. In fact, you are not even in the car on the way to the ballpark." I gave them one last chance and said to come up with estimates for alternatives. After all, they are "Show Carpet", not "Show Wood Floors", so I was curious to see what they would come back with for carpet or laminate. I never heard back. Oh well. If I ever need a carpeting job, I will give them one last shot. For other types of flooring, I would suggest you look elsewhere and not waste your time. read more

I could not be happier with Show Flooring. I needed carpet installed asap and sent a request for a quote on Sunday, June 28th at 5:52 pm detailing my budget, what I was looking for, and my very tight timeline. At 6:03 pm I received a message back stating that they would be able to not only install the flooring within my budget, but could also send someone out on July 3 and install on July 6th. The sales rep came by on July 3 with a basket full of carpet samples and the installers came on Monday morning. We live in VA and my parents had there floor redone by Eagle Carpet that underestimated the amount of material that would be needed. Then they called us to let us know they could not get anymore and we should try the internet. Within one search and look at Show Flooring they had the floor they needed that no one else had supposedly. They were happy to help me and the process was super easy and fast. Avoid this business at all Costs. I am a professional man, very easy going and very understanding. I purchased floor tiles from this establishment that were defective. I spent hours transporting the tiles to my house in my car for several trips, trying to save money. When my contractor arrived to put the tiles in, they were defective. Call the company and they initially said due to the fact it's a B grade type I am expecting 10% defective goods . However i have open out 10 box of them and have 3 box of them defective.The tiles was ding out , when putting two tiles together there's a gap for more then 1/8 inches apart, weird oily substance on the tiles and more . The company would not refund me, nor assist me in getting the tiles back to the store. After talking to the manager and sharing all the pictures of the tiles I got the Okay of they would take all the tiles back and give me a different batch of tiles. However there's a catch, I had to rent a truck and transport all of the tiles back. I end up taking out the tiles that installed by my subcontractors, Carry all the tiles back to the shop. And They gave me replacement tiles that I had to transport myself. The manager state that they would give me 120 dollars on behalf of apologizing on what's seems to be manufacturing error on the other company . On her word , I am still yet need to deal with the manufacturer on her own . It's a complete disaster. read more

After many quotes and lots of research, I went with Show Flooring, and could not be happier! From the in home consultation, follow up phone calls, scheduling, and installation everything was professional and smooth. I am really impressed with the installers who took the time to help my husband move large pieces of drywall that were left over from the work we had done in our basement. They were thorough and worked diligently to install new carpet and padding throughout the basement, as well as vinyl plank flooring in the office. Needed carpet for my entire condo so I could list it for sale. I requested an estimate on Yelp and got a quick response. The estimate was low but I also know it is very difficult to give an estimate sight unseen. I liked that Show Carpet is used to working with realtors and knows what carpet buyers would like. I scheduled a date for an in-person estimate. They arrived on time and also emailed the quote. The quote was definitely higher than the rough estimate I received on Yelp but it was still lower than the other companies and they were able to complete the work that same week so I ended up selecting Show Carpet to do the work. They showed up on time on our scheduled day and completed the work in a good amount of time. The only problem I had was that they left the closet doors off the hinges so someone had to return the following day to put them back which they did with no hesitation. Please note I am a very particular individual with very high standards, so in other words very hard to please. I just moved into a new condo with all hard wood flooring and needed several area rugs in different sizes. I found Show Carpet USA on yelp. We live in downtown Chicago and really didn't want to drive out to Franklin Park. We are city people and never go out to the burbs. I'm so glad we decided to go check out Show Carpet. The Don the owner and his entire team are so friendly and helpful. Cole, Kevin, and Aj couldn't be more accommodating The prices can not be beat anywhere ! (And I'm a comparison shopper) Also It is a warehouse so don't expect a fancy showroom. There were plenty of remnants to pick from. Many rolls were so large you could also do wall to wall if needed. We selected 3 different roles in different colors and style, we provided the measurements, and requested coordinated binding (surging)for each. We needed a 14 x 12, 10 x 8 and 3 runners. They turned the entire project around in 5 days. Delivery was seamless and they even stayed to help place the rugs throughout involving moving some furniture. We saved so much money we could hardly believe the prices they quoted. Many of the remnants were used once at trade shows. Don't let that concern you. The rugs are like brand new. If they didn't tell me they were slightly used I would never know. The selection varies from month to month depending on what they recently acquired. Kevin came out to my home to view the samples that I had picked up at Menards. He matched the sample that I had chosen and gave me a great price on that carpet and the install. As my living room is large, they needed to seem two pieces together. One was a shade darker and the installers immediately called the office. They had to take the carpet back for a better match and scheduled an appointment to come back the next business day. Next business day they were back bright and early to lay the carpet. I purchased end-of-the year engineered hardwood from Show Carpet through FB Market-place as part of a budget-conscious but also strategic house renovation for a basement (look it up - engineered hardwood works in a basement!). I have about just enough out of my father's life insurance to pay for a house renovation and not much more - that isn't meant to be a wise-crack -it's a fact. Even at a VERY reasonable 99 cents a square foot - hardly more than the cheap carpeting I was looking at for staging, getting sub-grade, damaged material would represent a huge set-back. I went with my gut (after travelling to show-carpet to take a look with a handy-man friend,) had a wonderful chat with the owner's nephew, Kevin - a brilliant young guy - and went for it - ZERO BUYER'S REGRET!! The merchandise came, and after inspection from my magic-contractor was found to have even less damage than even estimated by the seller, came quickly and was delivered efficiently and with great communication between buyer (me) and seller. Here's a tip - the owner gives a lot of latitude to his nephew and the nephew respects his uncle - even Shakespeare, who was a romantic if no one else was didn't believe it could happen.
