The worse experience ever! I'm never purchasing another vehicle through this dealership nor will I ever recommend anyone here. The finance manager do not know how to do there Job! The finance manager that was helping me was Isa he did not explain anything to me and he messed up my paperwork. When I called them to get this issue fix they gave me the run around. I spoke to Isa's supervisor Steve over the phone several times he stated he would return my phone call I never heard back from him. So I decided to go into the dealership to speak to someone in person no one wanted to receive me. They sent out a customer service manager long story short, they stated that they would not fix the mistake that there employee had made and try to cover up. Know for the four the time I came back again because I have not receive the tags of the vehicle I purchase never ever will I recommend this place. read more

We currently own 2 Honda vehicles and we absolutely love them. I come in every so often to buy parts or accessories for the vehicles. Donn normally assists me with my purchases. He is very helpful and very nice. He has provided my family and I excellent customer service. He shows me pictures when I come in to buy a part when I am not so sure of what it is I need. The dealership is very clean and everyone is very friendly. Not pushy at all. Daniel from service is also very helpful and nice! The past couple of oil changes he has helped me out. Went in to buy a vehicle that they had listed on the Internet for a full price offer per plus tax and license. Their counter offer was almost twice the listed price. Several other families stormed out over the same vehicle and cost while we were there. They refused to take a full price offer. Instead wanted to upsell us with multiple different warranties that we indicated we did not want or need. Ended up walking away and they didn't care. Confirmed with them several times that they won't sell for the price they listed on the Internet. Total scam. Never been treated this bad at a Honda dealership. Would have gained my business for life since I just moved here. Stay away from this dealership. read more

Then I went to finance and a man named mike came into the equation he almost ruined the deal I left in tears! Called back today and a guy named josh finished out the deal! I leased a car from this dealer and had a horrible experience. A few months before my lease expired, I kept getting calls (almost daily) from sales reps trying to make more money off me by either buying/leasing another car or buying out my lease. I had already decided to purchase the car so I went ahead and scheduled an appointment with one of the reps. As we sat down to sign the purchase paperwork, I noticed the contract amount to be financed was $5k more than the payoff amount listed on my online Honda Account Management page. I asked the sales rep what the discrepancy was and he laughed in my face saying "the amount you see there does not include taxes and fees". By the end of that visit, they agreed to drop the total amount $2k which was still more than I was expecting to pay so I decided to sleep on it. After speaking to 2 other people at that same location-one of them being the manager- they could not explain what all of the fees were that added up to the additional $5k. Luckily, I found a copy of my original lease paperwork and sure enough, the puchase price there was a bit less than what was listed on my online account. I called the lease buyout department phone number listed on the website and was told that the amount listed online included taxes and fees (which amounted to about $1k). I ended up getting a loan with another company to purchase the vehicle at the amount listed online. These guys make so much money off of people that don't take the time to do the research... it is really appalling. I will not be giving this dealer any more of my business. read more

DRAMA PLACE!!! if you are bored and want to watch live drama, this is the best place. They make new stories so quickly that you can't imagine. Their, quotes for cars changes like the stock market. Their sales person keeps getting family emergencies, so you will get at least 3-4 sales persons in an hour. They all are so perfect to lie that they will get the best award. This is how they played the DRAMA SHOW: One of their sales manger gave me a quote over the phone and email. He sent me a written quote. But when I went to see him, he asked me to wait and disappeared, after few minutes another person came with a story that other person got an emergency and he offered his assistance. I showed him the quote given by first person and he gave us test drive. After that he came back with another story that First person's sales manger also got an emergency and left for the day. He offered new quote. I left the store with promise to come back next day so as to meet the first person who gave the original quote. Next day, I again met the first person and he showed his inventory on the PC and asked us if we want to look at the other colors. We came outside with him and he disappeared again. After 15 minutes another person came with a sad face and new story that first person got an emergency and left for the day. We felt sorry for the first person and 2nd person starting assisting us. After five minutes we saw the first person walking on the floor and asked him about his emergency, he did not have any clue. He said he was assisting another client and will come back to us, but..... never came back. Then third person came to us with a new quote and did not have any clue that what other two person had provided us. my car buying experience was satisfying yet exhausting -- i was there from 1:30-7:30. initially, i started my deal after searching online for the best price, and showcase not only had it but also was the only dealer to have the color i wanted in stock. deneen phoned me to discuss, but i pushed her off because my car i planned to trade in was in penske automotive repair after being rear-ended and receiving $6500 in damages; it is a 2016 honda fit ex with 9400 miles on it. because it was so damaged, i no longer trusted it. it took 1 month for the repairs to finish, and i went the next day to showcase to see about trading it in for the same car but a 2017 model. sergio took the lead and really was nice, negotiating a fair deal wherein my car payment for the 2017 would only go up $20/month from my 2016 payment. so i went for it. sergio was competent, sweet and trustworthy. he's a nice guy. however, when i reached the point of meeting with the finance guy, rich, i checked out his computer monitor as he worked. sure enough, the car payment i was promised was listed as the "base car payment," with my "total car payment" listed as $30/mo. higher. immediately, i questioned this, demanding to know what the hell was going on. he said, "didn't sergio tell you car payments are taxed?" i said no and that i couldn't afford that payment, told him they deceived me and that i was very angry. i was ready to walk when rich and this other guy whose name i forget, who came in while the finance process was happening, both relented and said they'd fix it so that my car payment would be what i was told, slashing the price to accommodate it to include the taxes in that. i wonder how many people examine this. i imagine very few. thankfully, i never agree to anything until i've read/reviewed/critically analyzed it. i appreciate their working with me, but still think them a bit sketchy for trying to push my car payment to something upon which we didn't agree. i also told sergio if he hit the gong i'd murder him in his sleep. ha ha! read more

We did not have a good experience here, basically like most dealerships they tried to charge WAY more for a used car than it was worth and then knocked it down to the price it was worth to make us think we were getting a deal. They just kept repeating that it had a sunroof.... We live in Phoenix, I get plenty of sun. I'm not prepared to pay extra for a sunroof because this car is old and has 100k miles LOL. Then they tried to ask us if something was wrong with them and that's why we didn't want to buy. Ya something is wrong with the people that work at this dealership that we encountered. They're a bunch of snakes. One of the guys was trying to make us feel bad for him because he hadn't made a sale all day.... Saying he must need to go to church because something is wrong with him. After we asked them not to call us they called repeatedly throughout the week and called past 9pm..... Very unprofessional. I went over to Audi in north Scottsdale and they treated us with respect and they were fair. I was able to get the same model of a car two years newer, a much better price, plus a 3 year warranty and they made the process so easy. Glad we dodged that bullet. My family just bought our 4th and 5th Honda from Deneen Smeraldo, Showcase Honda. Why do we keep coming back to Deneen Smeraldo? Because she gives our family the best "value". Value = Price + Customer Experience. One more thing. We bought our first Honda from Deneen in 2010. How often can you say, a sales person has been at the same dealership for 7 or more years and stays in touch? Very rare. So if you want to build a lasting relationship, go see Deneen. Showcase Honda is a SCAM! Brought my Honda in due to problems with steering.. apparently I needed my power steering replaced according to their diagnostics. After paying $4000 (FOUR THOUSAND!) dollars to have this replaced, I quickly noticed a new and odd sound when turning my wheel. Being a naive customer, I thought this was just due to the new power steering. After all, I could at least drive without difficulty turning. I come in to showcase to get the sound checked out, their diagnostics tells me my front struts were worn out, costing nearly $2000 (TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS) to replace. However, being the smart customer I am, I go to a local mechanic for another consultation. Apparently the weird noise was due to a loose rack and pinyin and subframe and other miscellaneous parts that were LEFT LOOSE when installing the power steering from my prior visit. THE HONDA SHOWCASE TEAM LEFT THEM LOOSE SO I COULD COME BACK TO HAVE SHELL OUT MORE MONEY FOR ANOTHER PART, while they secretly would tighten the bolts they purposefully left loose. My local mechanic fixed my problem by tightening all the loose parts for chump change. Honda showcase tried scamming another $2000 from me.. disappointing that this type of business exists. I have called them repeatedly and all they do is take my name a number saying they will call back. They never do. They dont care about their customers after they made their sale. Alex was very helpful. I visited several dealerships and he was the only salesperson that was promptly able to give us the numbers we needed and find out about our trade. We had another brand car on lease and Showcase didn't mess around with agreeing to pay that off. We knew it was doable but other dealers were hemming and hawwing and made us feel like we were being worked over. Alex was straightforward and knowledgeable and that is why he earned our business. Almost 1000 miles in and we are impressed with our Honda. Originally, it wasn't our first choice car but we read it had the most cargo space for the class and it had the highest estimated residual value on kbb. This is the most powerful 4 cylinder engine we ever had and it's able to really scoot even up the mountain. read more

BEWARE!!! This is a dishonest dealership that doesn't tell you about all the hidden fees and traps they get you in. Please do not go here by yourself if you have no knowledge of how buying a car should go. My daughter bought a 2015 Dodge Dart ( used) and they stuck it to her. Hard working, single mother on her own went in and thought she was signing a loan for around $14,500. Little did she know, do to the dealership failing to mention that they added on for all the aftermarket things on the car and through $2,500 maintance service fee for something my daughter never signed for. This dealership should be ashamed of how the deceive young people. Terrible thing to do. Plus she put down $1,600. I've read reviews on my websites, this isn't the first time. I wish I had read other reviews before going here to look at vehicles... I will start by saying that the only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because everyone who I dealt with was extremely friendly and made me feel welcome. That is honestly the only positive aspect of my experience at Showcase. I also know that the car buying experience is not supposed to be all sunshine and rainbows, I've had some pretty bad experiences in the past, but this was definitely the most frustrating of them all. I went here because I wanted to look at the HR-V and was looking to trade in my smaller car for something newer and a little bigger. I am completely happy with the vehicle I chose so far, it's only been 4 days but it drives great, etc. etc. However- my experience with the sales staff at this dealership has been nothing but complete bull. After negotiating a little and seeing numbers that were a little out of my price range as far as monthly payments, I was willing to accept the fact that I couldn't afford a new car right now and maybe I needed to wait a couple months until I could come up with a bigger down payment. That's what I told the salesman, and that's when they sent the sales manager in to "further negotiate". I explained to him what my maximum monthly amount was (already $140/mo higher than my previous payment on the trade in), and he convinced me that paying $30/mo more than my max wasn't THAT much, and I agreed, because I knew I could budget better. We shook hands, signed off on the deal, (if I promised to write a great yelp and google review, by the way, no pressure there at all!) and I signed ALL of my paperwork for the trade in, the loan, etc. 3 days later I get called in to financing because "the loan terms had changed". They were then telling me that my payments were actually going to be $90/month higher than the deal I was offered, so now $120 higher than my maximum and $260 higher than my previous payment!). I explained it all to this guy (who was extremely nice- Josh in financing was probably the nicest and most willing to help out of everyone that I dealt with), and he said he would talk to whoever he needed to and would get it taken care of, because I was promised a deal and signed off on that deal. The next day, I got called in AGAIN, and was told they were not able to make the deal work, and that I would be paying more than the original amount agreed upon. And that there was nothing else to be done about it. This entire process has been nothing but stressful and frustrating. If you are going to promise people a deal, and sign on it, then you should not be coming back days later to then say "just kidding!" I asked to speak with a sales manager and they wouldn't allow me to, which made the entire thing even more frustrating. And on top of all of that hassle, I realized the morning after leaving my trade in that I had forgotten some stuff in my old car, it was out of sight and I didn't think about it until early the next morning (13 hours later). I went to the dealership and they let me into the car but the stuff had already been removed. Somehow no one was able to find out who cleaned the car out and where my stuff might have been moved to (or if it was carelessly thrown away). 13 hours later. I left the dealership at 9:00pm on a saturday and returned as soon as they opened at 10:00am Sunday morning and it had already been "lost" in that time. So now, not only am I spending WAY more than I wanted to on this car, but I also now have to spend the additional money to replace the stuff that went "missing". Needless to say I will not be returning to showcase honda. I will get my first free oil change and then I will never return here for any other business again. And when people ask me where I bought my car, I'll make sure they know how completely unacceptable this experience has been. read more

Showcase Honda is not loyal to its long-time customers. Super disappointed today. I took my 2016 Honda Accord EXL-V6, beautiful condition, had all my maintenance done at Showcase for 5 years. Have done "whatever" they recommended I change/update/replace for 5 years. Several dealerships have been calling me leaving messages they want to buy my car because they are low in inventory. Today Showcase Honda insulted me by low-balling my car by thousands, much lower than NADA value, Kelly Blue Book value, Edmonds value --- and I was honest about any imperfections when I used these sites to ensure I wasn't inflating my cars worth. If anyone knows the value of my well-kept car it is Showcase Honda, right? Nope, they were the same type of low-balling used car dealerships we've all grown to hate. Shame on them for trying to take advantage of a loyal customer. Based on the prices they are selling their used cars for on their lot today, large profit versus what they are willing to pay for my comparable car. After finally getting ahold of someone willing to try to address the issue, I was able to get all 3 issues I had addressed. -I was able to get my refund on the theft protection plan -I got the ball rolling on the refund from MPP (I still take issue with that situation, but that's more against MPP than it is against the dealership). -The issue with my license plate was a result of poor communication and followup, and is being resolved. My advice to future customers: if you find yourself ignored or feeling lied to after purchasing, be persistent in finding the solution. Also, when dealing with the customer care representatives (including management), be respectful, as it goes a long way towards peoples' willingness to help you. They most likely had nothing to do with it, but will try to fix it. That is their job, so be nice. read more

They don't care about customer service or integrity, let alone respect. I bought my car from them without realizing how completely full of shit this place is and then my mother, without my knowledge, or else I would have never let this happen, went here to buy her's years later because they promise best prices, but actually up-charge everyone, so she got completely taken advantage of and WAY over-charged for her Honda. They literally took advantage of a 76 year old woman. How disrespectful can people be? They also had complete disregard for what she was asking for and sold her a car that was super complicated and the opposite of what she was looking for. Then, they had the audacity to speak condescendingly towards her and myself as we went in to ask questions about the car she purchased, which NO ONE knew how to clearly answer and proceeded to look at us as if we were the idiots! These men are not only your typical sleazy car salesmen, but they lack respect and integrity. How these guys, especially the manager of this place, sleep at night, is beyond me. DO NOT EVER go here. Brice and the Internet team took great care of me as a first time customer. The CR-V Hybrid EX-L I had chosen ended up being sold by mistake. They went through a Dealer Trade with Earnhardt to get me another EX-L Hybrid..... though the wrong car was given to the lot attendant. Brice, Jerry the GM and his assistant all went the extra mile to keep me as a customer and we worked things out and I got more than I expected. Brice shoots straight.....no Dealer BS. I have purchased many vehicles and I have always gotten a military discount at any dealership. I was told during the "deal" I would get a $500 military discount like any dealership in the country. I was then told I would get a $500 rebate if I chose Honda for financing. Simple math states that is $1000. I was only awarded $500 because the dealership stated after the purchase that the Honda rebate of $500 is the military discount for financing through Honda. I have always gotten a military discount regardless of who I use for financing. The dealership stated someone can only get a military discount if they finance through Honda, which is false. The next day i spoke with a manager and he stated anyone can get the $500 rebate if they finance through Honda, so if someone is military, that should equal an extra $500?? Also, the dealership had a markup of $4000 because they are hard to get right now, that is price gouging. Something felt off when talking with the dealership when I arrived and I should have trusted my gut feeling. I should have walked out. Don't do business with this dealership. read more

Pretty rough experience here... Took my car in for routine maintenance, oil change. They did a full inspection and told me I needed new breaks, so I purchased breaks with them. When I picked it up, I received a receipt stating they had done a full inspection. The next morning, my car didn't start. The battery was dead...somehow this got missed in their "full" inspection? Had to uber to and from work that day and miss a meeting to get the new battery. A day later, loud repeated thumping noises every time I slowed down. Had to again re-arrange my work schedule to take it in....they found that they had left some things lose. This experience ended up taking up way too much of my time. I paid more for the services that I received because they're supposed to be "master-certified Honda technicians" yet many things were missed and I had to go back several times. Won't be getting services from this location again. read more

Unacceptable customer service. My family and I recently bought a 2016 Honda CR-V a month and a half ago and we have not received our license plate yet, and as of 7/30/19, our registration is expired! I've been calling for days now and probably talked to 10 different people who say they'll get this issue fixed but they haven't followed up! How hard is it to process a simple title registration? Does Showcase Honda really expect us to illegally drive with an expired registration? This is absolutely atrocious if I have to go through 10 people to fix this problem. 1 star is even being generous.... We bought a car in March 2017, by far the worst experience. Our salesman was Amazing. Finance department were all fools. They had agreed on a postdated check, mind you I was 8 months pregnant and had been there 7 hours..... after we signed everything they decided they didn't want to accept a post dated check for the date they had agreed on the ENTIRE time we were signing papers. On top of that the finance guy had just moved here from California and kept talking to my husband about the women he was seeing on the side here in AZ and why he moved. So inappropriate. So we walked out so frustrated. The manager came running out to our car as we were turning out leaving the lot. He agreed to the date we were promised and we walked away with our car. Hesitant of course, but with the baby coming soon we were desperate to be done car shopping. 2 weeks later they called because they managed to get something wrong on our paperwork so they wanted us to come out there and sign it. No thanks.... we live an hour away and it was their oversight not ours. Cut to Jan 2018! We go to a tent sale at Peoria Sports Complex. Multiple dealerships from around the valley are there... we get in line and wouldn't you know the person we get stuck with works for Showcase! I told him straight forward how terrible our experience was last time and he said he would make sure it didn't happen again Stupid us for believing them right??? We find a car we love, we buy it seemed fine NOPE the vin they have on all out paperwork is SO wrong.... So my husband scheduled a time to go see them a little after 7 am this morning to get our new security system installed and fix the paperwork Guess what.... the service people have No record of him being scheduled And the guy who scheduled him isn't at work until 8... So my husband is now late for work because they can't do anything with our car because they have no record To say I hate this place is an understatement. Purchased a vehicle with no issues. Got to a reasonable price and completed paperwork just fine. Purchased GAP insurance as well since this was a 2019. 2 weeks later I received a letter from the GAP company declining coverage and advised if I had questions to contact the finance dept. at the dealership. Originally worked with Kenn Spell, so I called him...4 TIMES IN 2 WEEKS. Was sent to his voicemail each time and never once received a call back. Finally called and asked to speak with anyone, was sent to a different finance manager. I explained the situation and was told "no, you have the coverage, that letter is probably from the car you traded in." I explained I didn't carry GAP on that vehicle and the letter specifically describes my new car and Showcase is shown as being CC'd. He said that was weird, but I have the coverage. I called the GAP company who confirmed coverage was denied because the paperwork the dealership submitted said I paid in cash, which I didn't. Called Showcase back and explained the situation. Was told a manager would be involved and call me by 1:00. 4 o'clock rolled around and I hadn't heard so I called back. Manager said it was closeout and he couldn't help until the following week. Called back on Wednesday of the next week and actually got a hold of Kenn Spell who advised no one told him he had a message. I told him I left 4 on his voicemail but he still wouldn't claim responsibility for not getting back to me. I went over the situation again and after 2 calls back from him was advised my credit union would receive a refund of what i paid for GAP as the coverage had indeed been declined. Keep in mind, this is now 6 1/2 weeks after the original purchase and I have been driving the whole time without coverage I was told I carried. Received good customer service when I was trying to buy and then was totally ignored after they have made their commissions. Nice work guys. Found coverage for less than half what they wanted to charge me and am now covered no thanks to anyone at Showcase Honda read more

The issue was that they had just arrived, and were not ready for a test drive. He kindly provided me with a test drive in a 2017 Honda Accord EX-L V6 that one of the dealers was driving at the time. When we went back to the office he was relieved of his responsibilities. I was handed off to the fleet manager. He asked what I was looking for, and I repeated the same details that I provided to the sales associate (2017 Honda Accord EX-L V6, light exterior, and beige interior). He then tries to guide me towards a four cylinder Honda Accord, saying how I would not even notice the difference (translation: let me sell you what we need to sell rather than what you want to buy). He then went to get quotes for the four cylinder Accords. I left the facility when he was doing this because I do not have time to play games. Either you want to sell me what I want to buy or you do not. If you do not want to sell me what I want, then there is no reason for me to be at your business. I cannot express the disappointment with this Honda location. They are liars and only see you as a dollar sign. In 2019 I was looking for an affordable vehicle and was forced into a 2018 Honda Hatchback, told that if I can make on time payments for a year, I would be able to get into a newer car with a lower interest rate and lower payment. 1 year goes by and I get denied! So giving them the benefit of the doubt I wait longer, mind you making a $640 payment. They call you, asking to refinance or to trade it. So I thought, cool let me get this payment off my hands and get something better. Unfortunately, nothing but broken promises and lies. Dropping my credit score because they like to run it like lottery numbers. This happened going into 2021. I don't know how many people I saw to get into a different car or even refinance to get a lower payment because the car I have is just not worth it. I was promised "hey come on in and I GUARANTEE we get you in something better and if we do not, I will fill up your cars." Yes cars! I have two cars from them, I referred someone and the wouldn't approve them unless I co signed, mind you the sales person was falsifying information for the person I recommended. How much they made and how long they worked there. Next, I asked them to stop calling me because I was tired of their horrific services that have impacted my credit negatively. In July 2021 I get a call, "Hey Maribel, we noticed you have not gotten your car serviced in a while and right now we have a special for an oil change for $39.99". I thought okay, I do need an oil change let get that set up. She set the appointment up and I lose a day of work to make it there, only to get denied because that is not a special they are having. I am outraged at this point. So Please if you consider getting a car from here, just keep in mind you are in for a treat, a bitter unsatisfying treat. read more

Another reviewer said it best "they are the epitome of a shady car dealership"...."Luis" is the most Brazen, combative, lying salesperson We have ever encountered.... apparently he's some sort of assistant sales manager, which actually speaks volumes for the dealership that they would have such an individual in that kind of a position...the epitome of a sleazy used-car salesman, he lied continually about everything, from claiming dealerships don't make money off of Finance to claiming emission tests cost is based on the cost of a vehicle in an attempt to justify charging over $500 to pass the emissions test for a two-year-old vehicle....and the list of brazen lies goes on and on.... his aggressive dishonest attitude has cost this dealership our business (for two vehicles) and we will be sure to inform everyone we know to stay away from showcase Honda and instead go to Arrowhead Honda, Bell Honda or Right Honda... ***We usually go to Arrowhead Honda but they're under construction and didn't have the vehicle we wanted so we decided to try showcase honda since they had several and had a white tent event this weekend.... read more

I would not recommend this place! They have suck at customer service and they dont care what customers have to say. They only care about how much they can charge. I would give them negative stars if possible. They do not communicate well with customers and then when you want to explain the situation to them they are rude and will it let you speak!! From buying a car to getting service I would not recommend! They are the worst people ever and they will it care one bit for their customers. They won't even remember your name after just seeing them about ago. If you are okay with the drive I would 100 times recommend surprise Honda! They remembered me from one visit and they are just the best at their job. Showcase Honda has always been the worst and I really wanted to give a second chance but I can guarantee I will never be going there again. Don't waste your time, energy or money here.
