I came in to Honda several times interested in leasing a new accord as the lease on my existing accord was running out. They have the nerve to ask for $500 a month for an accord. Uhhh who do you think you are? BMW? I got them to come down a couple hundred dollars over the weeks after they called me a million times chasing me. We finally agreed on a final monthly and down over the phone. They tell me we are printing up the paperwork and I go in there for the THIRD time this month and the paperwork has higher numbers on it. I had enough and walked out. At least this got them to stop calling. Before this final walk out I had 5 people calling me from Honda every day. Had an issue with the wife's Honda Pilot. The electronic locks stopped working and the rear door would not open. Showcase Honda was able to diagnose the problem with the help of the Honda tech hotline. A few dollars later and everything is working like a charm. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! They have the worst way of communication. I am stuck with my car and unsatisfied. I did my financing through a bank and even my bank complained about them. I had to call every day and go there to get my voice heard and I was just tossed between people. Then to hear that the people who were returnig my calls no longer work there. I was treated like nothing and after a month of trying to fix my problem it's finally starting but I have to keep calling and emailing them. I should not have to initiate it. My bf & I bought a car from Showcase Honda last May,we traded in our 2012 civic for a 2017 civic because the 2012 was having mechanical issues that weren't under warranty. Plus they just threw us in that car,I think to get it off the lot. But anyways,one of the shocks went out on the 2017 civic so I took it to Showcase and had them check it out and they couldn't find anything wrong with it,they said if it was out of place it would cost about $300 to replace it. So I took the car over to Bell Honda,they found out that the shock was out of place & it's covered under warranty,so I had it replaced at no cost! And will continue to keep going to Bell Honda for my servicing needs. Let's add to this,I called Showcase Honda to ask about oil changes and they said they would call back but never did!!! read more

By far worst dealership. Never buy their extended warranty even when they claim it covers everything but tires! It is a lie and has been nothing but a nightmare for us. Visited Showcase Honda after looking at the listings on Truecar, First they said they had the CRV I wanted. But I was shocked to know they did not have the vehicle they promised me and the price. I chose a different color and Touring trim. Now they said another sales person took the keys home. The manager assured that they will give me a temporary vehicle, and replace it with the specific vehicle I wanted. Which was later retracted which again shocking me. Since they already did a credit check and all the documentation by then I was forced to choose a Color which was left in the inventory. They gave me 3 year service coupons to compensate for this horrible experience. 2 months later, I have unfortunately lost those service coupons, I've been calling to get a replacement coupons. But again the series of flip flops begin, the rep first told me to call the Manager, I call the Manager he said they will have a record of the service coupons and the rep will provide the coupons. The rep says there is no record of 3 years free service coupons, asked me to contact the someone else when it is time for service. I'm so tired and exhausted, I dread any interaction but unfortunately I cant help but to call them for their committed service. read more

The absolute worst buying experience of my life. I felt like I was being interrogated for a crime that I did not commit and they were not going to stop until they got me to say what they wanted to hear. Much like an attempted sexual assault....no means no! If you are stupid enough to give them your ID, credit card or trade in keys early in the negotiations, you have checked yourself into the Hotel California...they will not let you leave. After being passed to our fourth sales creep, the new guy Sam, we settle on a car and they start to present the real pricing rather than what is on the car or advertised. This soon turned in to a two hour shell game. Once it was determined how much extra they would screw us for, we waited another 1.5 hours for the "new: finance guy Joe. I let Joe know that I do not care for high pressure sales and that this should be an easy process as I do not want any of the add on warranty and only interested in GAP insurance. He said that he understood and 5 minutes later the grilling began. After several failed attempts by Joe he sends in the biggest BSer of all, Brandon. Brandon is the good cop and apologizes for everything over and over. What a turd! This is where the real fun begins....Start to sign the paperwork and realize that they are making changes without agreement on any of it. By this time they know you are exhausted and mentally drained from the tag team approach and they start trying to slip things by you. The 72 month financing was now 75 months....REALLY? I think you should let me know this rather than trying to pass it through. Even worse, when I came in, I told them that I would put $8k down on a credit card to which they agreed. When I get to Joe the finance guy, I am told that there is a $3500 credit card limit so I would need to write a check for the balance of $4500 which I did. Near the end Joe the finance guy runs my credit card for $4500 and asks me to sign after telling me there is a $3500 credit card limit. HMMMMM. All scam artist that appear to sleep well at night. Here is the topper...Receive a call from Brandon two days after I fill out a review request that was emailed to me. The review did not reflect well on them. Brandon says that he remembers me specifically because he knew that I had to be there much too long(6 hours). He offered me 3 years of free maint (oil changes and tire rotations) and that he would call me back within the next hour to set it up. What do you know, a week later with no call back. Big surprise!!! I reached out to Sam the sales guy to see if he would follow up with Brandon. He was happy to hear from me and said he would give me a call the next morning. Surprise...no call back. Unfortunately, Showcase and the team there does not care about these reviews as it is part of what they do, but I have been here for 50 years and know a lot of people and I can assure you that NONE of them will ever buy a car there. My rating is for their after sales service. It's been 8 months since I bought my Odyssey, they have not yet taken care of a defect that I had reported on the initial vehicle inspection!!! After 4 months, got a call from the service person that the part has been arrived. But, to my surprise when I report there with the vehicle, they told that the part they received from Honda was not the right one and they will re-order it and give me a cal! But, till now (it's been 8 months), they didn't give any call! On my follow-up, they acted like they were not aware of what had happened! To my total surprise, on my recent call, they told that my vehicle that I purchased from the same shop do not have an owner record!!! I did report this to their supervisor/Manager a couple of times, but of no use... always received the same response that they will check and call back! I won't recommend this shop at all. read more

9 HOURS TO BUY A CAR Buying a car from this dealership had to be one of the worst experiences of my life! On arrival we were pleasantly surprised (at first) when we negotiated a reasonable price within 1 hour. We were ready to sign all of the necessary paperwork when there were (of course) some hang-ups. Things slowly started spiraling downhill from there. It started when they told us that they didn't have the color car we wanted in all wheel drive. We sat at the sales desk while they called around to other dealerships. My dad had drove in from out of town and we were looking forward to going to lunch with him. We wanted to go to lunch and then come back once they had found our car. The salesperson tried to do anything to keep us at the dealership. We were told that if we left, we would lose our "place in line" and would then be there even longer when we returned. My dad, being diabetic, could not wait to eat any longer and so he left to eat and drove 2 hours back home. My husband and I were provided pizza and we had an (oh so) delightful lunch at the salespersons desk with stale small talk. After another hour had passed, we were told to go home while they searched for our car. We left them with a sheet of all the specs that we required. We drove 30 minutes home, were only home for 45 minutes, and were told to come back because they found our car. We drove all the way back to the dealer only to find that they had found a car with the WRONG interior color! Our salesperson asked "Well why didn't you tell us you wanted black interior?' And our response was, "It's written on that paper we left with you. The one with the list of all the specs that we require!" So here we are at square one again. They are still searching for a car in the right color. Hours have gone by. I finally just settle for what ever color they have available on the lot. They offer to throw in seat covers for the inconvenience. Only to find out there is a "miscommunication". They apparently did not offer to pay for the price of the front ANNNNND back seat covers. We would have to be responsible for the cost of the back covers. At this point our patience is running so thin, we agreed. Whew.... We are finally competing all of the paperwork. But the nightmare only continues. We have to point out to our salesperson 3 TIMES that he had misspelled our address. He loses a document that was needed and has to complete it again. The VIN number of the vehicle we were purchasing had been written down wrong. The whole time we were there we were babysat by the salesperson would barely let us go to the bathroom by ourselves. Conversation was boring/dry and we felt like we were being smothered with his attention. 7 hours go by. We were told to sign a credit form "To make sure we are not terrorists" as the manager put it. We are hesitant because we were paying with a personal check. They assure us that they will not check our credit. Next thing you know they walk over with our credit scores in hand! Why?!!! I have read that this is a scam and that some dealerships do this to see if they can talk you into financing at the end. Finally, we make it over to the financing office to sign everything. Its been a total of 8 hours. We are exhausted. The financing officer then tries to sell us extended warranties on everything under the sun. He would not take no for an answer and was EXTREMELY argumentative. I am about in tears at this point from yelling at him when we finally get our keys. We spent a total of 9 HOURS trying to buy this car! The icing on the cake was that they did not even fill up our gas tank completely. It was 3/4 full when we got it and they forgot the included trunk cover. Thankfully, my husband caught this mistake and made them go get us one. Buying from Showcase Honda was a complete nightmare and I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT AGAIN! I am begging you. Please, please, please, take my advice and stay far away from this place!!! read more

Wow! What an experience. It was my wife's first experience buying a vehicle from a dealer and I've bought a few before, including 2 from Showcase Honda. Today we worked with Kyle and Albert in pre owned. I have to say these guys treated us very well. It took a while but at no time did these two get frustrated or make it awkward. The service department has been wonderful and the sales department has been challenging. The good: The Service department is very good at what they do, part of what they do is to up sell, it is after all a business. I usually wait for my vehicle, decline the 25 other things they want to do while im there and try not to hyperventilate from sticker shock. they're always very courteous,they give accurate time frames and do their best to get me scheduled in as soon as possible. overall they are a wonderful group of employees. The bad: since purchasing my vehicle I received numerous phone calls regarding surveys and inquiries to to trade in my car and get a new vehicle. I actually received a request for the same survey eight times for one visit. I received dozens of emails, phone calls and other forms of communication requesting that I trade in my car. It's intrusive, rude, and creates a growing concern that there something wrong with the car already purchased. I was happy with my Honda for the potential longevity of its use, if it needs to be traded in every year so I'm concerned with the overall quality. At one point I even had a sales guy run after my car while I was attempting to leave the service area, I stopped concerned something was wrong with my car, and he asked me if I was interested in selling my car back to the dealership getting a new one. It was not needed, not wanted. I may have been snippy that that point. I have even called back and spoke to the sales manager, and put in writing that I do not want to be: called, emailed, texted, sky written, smoke signaled, telegraphed or any other form of communication regarding trading my car in again or would no longer do business with them. They told us the out the door price would be $3900. I pulled up to their new location for an oil change and sat...and sat...and sat as 8 service center employees looked up at me and looked back down. Brian Jones was outside helping another customer. I finally got out of my car and asked, where do I go now, thinking perhaps there is a new procedure that expects the customers to go inside instead of the employees coming to greet. He made the comment, "I guess I am the only who can get up from my desk today." Honestly, he is the ONLY reason they are getting 2 stars today. If it weren't for the fact that this is less than a mile from my house and the only other dealerships are literally 10+ miles away, I'd NEVER return. Adding insult to injury, most of the people in the lobby appear to be business people, many working on computers or phone while Days of Our Lives blares on two tv's and something else on a third. Not one person looks at the tv...correction, the woman who just got targeted by a salesman to trade in her car is now looking at the tv. Sleezy. Sales review. In the process of buying a new car and this is about the 7th dealership we visited. So sleazy and by far the worst. We pulled into the lot and were quickly greeted and escorted inside. 20 minutes later we still hadn't viewed a single car. The breaking point was when they demanded to make a copy my drivers license to even step on the lot and look at a vehicle... For my own safety. I declined and they refused to allow us to view their stock. At no other dealership have I been asked for a copy of my drivers license to view the cars. Horrible experiences with the sales department. I told them exactly what I was looking for: Civic, 4dr, EX or EX-L. When they didn't have what I wanted, they said could "add tape" to a 2dr to "make it look like it has more doors" or have the service department "add a moonroof". This was in spite of me saying multiple times, this is NOT what I wanted. I was also criticized for wanting to pay cash. I gave them 3 chances and they failed each time. We dealt with Michael Conner, the service advisor, and the service manager Sean. I am very pleased with the outcome of this whole deal. First and foremost I have dealt with this dealership off on for 30 years now. I have unfortunately bought two cars from them and three cars from their competitor Right Honda. Unfortunately I've had to use them for service on my Honda products due to the proximity to our home and work. For starters we brought our car in to get a windshield replaced and the sensors re-calibrated and were told we could pick up the car on Saturday by 3. I called them at 3 o'clock and they said the car would not be done until 430 and I mentioned that I could not pick up the car because we had made evening plans and asked if they could leave the car with their sales personnel for Sunday morning at 10 AM since there was no money due and it was under warranty. They said that would be fine and I showed up at 10 AM Sunday morning and nobody knew anything about my car. I could see my car in the parking lot, but I was told I could not pick up my car until Monday because they never release cars on a Sunday and it had to be done through Service, This was absolutely not the arrangement that we had made on Saturday when the car was 2 1/2 hours late on completion. I sat in their dealership waiting for an hour and 20 minutes while they tried to contact the general manager as well as our service advisor Allen and I was told that they had no record of what my request was and that Allen said he never agreed to this request. Lies and no customer service at all!!! Now I can see my car and then they would not allow me to pick up my car even though no money was due and it was under warranty when arrangements were made. It took an hour and 20 minutes for them to make various phone calls with no success in getting my car released and there was no communication between service and sales on me picking up my car, which now I had to pick up early Monday morning so I could get to work. Keep in mind I've now wasted about 3 1/2 hours of my time just picking up my car and it was a simple windshield in over 2 days. Now on to the sales associate CJ and the sales mgr Amair. Since I was waiting for well over an hour for them to try to figure out how to get me my keys to pick up my car that I started looking in the lot and saw a Honda truck that I thought my wife would be interested in. I had no intention of buying a car, but I had time to kill since they were so unorganized in finding my car and releasing it to me. This could've been their plan all along! A sales person named CJ came up to me and said what do you think of this truck and we had a conversation. Since I had nothing else to do while I was waiting I looked at the truck and asked some questions. I said my wife might be interested in this truck so while I'm waiting why don't you pull up some numbers. He and the sales manager put a proposal together for me and I said I would get back to them. I never wasted their time they approached me I had no intention of buying a car. I simply sent their proposal to their competitor Right Honda and said can you do better than this which any smart consumer would do. They beat Showcase Honda's proposal by over $1500 and I even gave Showcase Honda an opportunity to counter Right Honda's better offer. My wife and I even made a third trip to the dealership on the heir request to talk to them in regards to the car and then they proceeded to say we were wasting their time. I have never dealt with such unprofessional people in all of my life. I was not looking for a car. I just happen to be looking at one while I was waiting for my car, which was now a day and a half late in getting picked up and then they give me an attitude like that which is exactly why I am going to Right Honda to buy a car because when somebody tells me that I'm wasting their time that is an insult! they are in the car sales business I spend very little time with them in person. In fact there was nobody even looking to buy a car when I was there both times. I gave them a proposal from their competitor and I wanted them to have an opportunity to beat it and they kept wanting me to come to their shop and waste my time when they said I was wasting their's. I would not recommend this dealership for service or sales in any manner. If you Google the best Honda dealerships in the Phoenix metro area they are on the bottom of the list for a reason. I will never let proximity from my home or work to a dealership determine where I go because this dealership is the worst that I have ever dealt with. They have made no attempt to rectify the disastrous service on the original reason I was there in the first place. The work was handled in a completely unprofessional manner and they did not respect the fact that I was giving them an opportunity to give me a better offer than their competitor. Stay away from this place unless you like being treated like trash! My wife and I were in the market for a new Honda Civic for her. She called around and got a few initial prices over the phone and Aaron McDonald convinced us to come in by dropping a really low price that seemed too good to be true... Ok, I'll take the bait... We showed up and the first question he asked was "who is going to be on the loan?" since I just bought a Subaru recently, she was going to be on the loan, but the car was for both of us obviously. When Aaron got his answer he stopped talking to me or even acknowledging that I was there. When we went for our test drive we were talked to like this is the first car we have ever been in. I think we know how a seat goes back, the "power" button on a radio turns it on and an automatic transmission goes in to drive (seriously this is stuff he was pointing out). When we started the test drive we realized that the low fuel light was on and was told that we needed to stop at a gas station before our drive, wow good impression... When we got back from our aggravating test drive and waiting at the gas station, Aaron told us that the car has $2,300 worth of dealer installed "options" which we were not interested in being ripped off on. $400 for rear dirt guards, $600 for tint, $1000 for an alarm, $300 for paint protection HA!!! I told him that we are not interested in the useless options, Aaron asked me if I was going to be on the loan and if I wasn't I shouldn't be talking!!! I couldn't believe it, I have NEVER been talked to like this by anyone before, especially a salesman! I told his that this is for both of us and he replied "when I go dress shopping with my wife, I don't tell her what dress to buy." Are you kidding me?! So since I'm not on the loan, I can't talk?! I was ready to leave, he left and came back with some bogus number, but as soon as he sat down he started arguing with me again! I was calmed down and he said "since I'm sure you've been in the business before, you need to learn how to treat people." EXCUSE ME?!?!?!?! This is completely unacceptable! Avoid this dealership for ongoing maintenance of your Honda, unless you wish to waste unnecessary hours of your life sitting in their waiting area, overpay for the service on your vehicle and/or risk the possibility of incurring additional expenses for problems that seemingly occur after they've serviced your vehicle. Unfortunately, I can't blame anyone except myself for allowing Showcase to service my wife's Odyssey since we purchased the vehicle new in 2008. I kick myself each time I bring the vehicle in for service but I continued going there mostly because it's conveniently located. Not only have I wasted countless hours waiting for my vehicle to be service, but I have easily incurred over a thousand dollars on "problems" that coincidentally just pops up immediately following the service. If they tell you the service will take 45 minutes, plan on at least 90 minutes and you'll be satisfied. The final straw was a week ago which was for a simple oil change that they told me would take 45 minutes; nearly 2 hours later I get the minivan back, drive it home and discovered the power locks are all messed up. I immediately call the service department to explain the issue with the locks, which has never happened in the 5 years I've owned the vehicle. Sure, there is that possibility the door lock shorted on its own while they had my vehicle for 2 hours to perform the oil change, but given my previous experience with problems coming up after bringing the vehicle in for service, I just find it all too ironic and fishy, to say the least. They tried to extract another $350 out of me to replace the door lock module but so kindly reduced the cost to $200. Bottom line is, this last oil change cost me $230. In another instance a couple years ago, the service representative was nearly successful in having me pay over $900, then he dropped it to $800, to $700, then finally down to $550, to replace a power steering component that was ultimately determined to be part of a Honda Recall. Had I not been diligent and paying attention, I would have thought the rep's efforts to continously drop the repair cost was a good deal and paid the $550 to replace the part. Fortunately, Honda (the manufacturer) covered the replacement under the recall. It's troubling enough that I almost came out of pocket $900+ for a part that was covered with the recall but more troublesome that the service representative worked the price down from over $900 to $550 with that ding, ding, ding game show.....you're a winner approach to the whole situation. These guys will try to swindle every extra dime from you that they can. The funny thing is this particular rep's photo, along with a few others, was hanging on the wall in waiting room for recognition as "Service Reps of the Month". I'd be curious what the criteria is to have your picture on that wall...they should rename the wall to "Big Swindlers of the Month"!! The only good thing that's come about my experience is that we have been thinking about upgrading to the newer Odyssey and Showcase simply made my dealership decision much much easier. They always treat me horrible if I dont buy their services. They told me that i needed a transmission flush and if I didnt get it with them that my warranty would not cover my vehicle. They use scare tactics and vompletely ignore you if you dont follow their commissiom goals. When they tried to charge me for free oil changes they literaly said yep thats how they get you when I explained that I bought the service package. Bait and Switch! Do not buy from here. If you only read the first paragraph of a review I'll summarize. We were quoted a price by a manager, shook hands, and when we sat down they presented a piece of paper with a price $500 more than we agreed upon. They then blamed us for the "miscommunication." Now I'll give all of the details. We were referred to Showcase through USAA/ True Car. I spoke with someone over the phone and through email and they made a very competitive quote for the car we were buying. The quote for the car beat all others. So, we came in and told them we had a couple of hours and didn't want to play any games, and we gave our bottom line. The salesman (Vlad) took the offer to the manager, came back and said congratulations, they accepted your offer. He had a sales sheet with a price $4K more than what we offered. I understand tax would be included but there were over $2,700 worth of "dealer options." We voiced our complaints about the inclusion of these options and how we didn't want to pay for them. Vlad told us that they were on the sticker and if we had looked at the sticker we would have seen that they were not a part of the price on the email quote. We told them we have an out the door price that beats them even without our trade in. They told us the price we had was impossible and nobody could beat their prices. So, we told Vlad our bottom line out the door price. We re-iterated our objection to the sales game. This prompted another salesman (Matt) sits down. I noticed he gestured to Vlad to stay and watch. Matt congratulated us on doing our homework and knowing the bottom line for the car. He showed us his invoice and told us that they cannot sell us the car for what we are asking. This is where things got interesting. We told Matt we are offering $26,000 out the door with our trade in and tax. We told him this was the price we were willing to pay. My wife said if you cannot accept our offer we'll go elsewhere. We got up to walk out and made it out the door. A sales manager (Ray) stopped us and said, "I'm not going to lose you over $200. What about $26,200?" My wife quickly replied, "$26,200? We'll take it." She and Ray shook hands. We called our day care asking for them to allow our son to stay longer than we paid and we sat back down at Vlad's desk. My wife got up to use the bathroom and Vlad sits down and presents me a piece of paper with an out the door price of $26,700. He explained that there was some miscommunication over the price and this was the offer. I waited for my wife and when she saw the price she walked right back over to Ray and asked him what happened. He said that he thought we had offered $26,500. So, he came up $200. I pointed out that he told us outside $26,200. How was there a miscommunication? He told my wife he thought I had made an offer of $26,500 without my wife around. Well, that was it. My wife said she wants the car for $26,200, the agreed upon price. They said they couldn't do it. She told him that we'll meet in the middle at $26,400. Ray said $26,500 is the final price. We walked out. There is a happy ending in this story. Vlad called me the next day apologizing for the miscommunication and to see if we were still in the market. I happily told him we purchased the same car from AutoNation Honda in Chandler. I thanked him because when AutoNation heard our story they sold us the same car for $26,200 and at this dealership we got 2 years' worth of oil changes and tire rotations. read more

I called about a car for sale and the sales-lady that answered (Jennifer) said she'd have the car I wanted waiting up front for me when I got there. I let her know that I needed to purchase a car TODAY and she said it will be ready to go. Once I got a ride (my car was totaled and I don't live very close) I find out that not only did she not pull the car, or call me back to let me know, the car wouldn't even be ready for several days!!! I talked to somebody else and they said they'd have it ready Monday. Here it is Monday and they haven't even started working on it. I would have simply gone somewhere else and now I'm out of time until next weekend to car-shop. Worst service ever. read more

I had my airbags replaced due to recall yesterday at Showcase. I didn't want to go - I'm not a fan of dealerships, but service was wonderful at every turn. Showcase Honda made my experience as painless as possible. After visiting four Honda dealerships all around the valley there was no comparison to the way I was treated here. My goal was to spend as little time in dealerships as possible so I did my legwork prior to walking into any dealership. I decided I wanted to lease a Honda Accord and started calling around. The price terms agreed upon over the phone were not honored in person. I was even lied to about what they had on the lot before arriving at my third dealership. Sales reps were aggressive and incredibly rude once it was apparent a deal was not happening. At Showcase my sales rep was honest and did not pressure me as every other dealership does. I believe his name is Dennis. Management was courteous as well. Even when it appeared we would not come to terms they were still kind and respectful to me as I was walking out. Eventually they ended up meeting my price and I left with a car. This was as pleasant an experience as possible and I would highly recommend Showcase Honda to anyone. read more

I made an appointment to get my 60k mile check-up early a few weeks ago. I also needed them to replace my interior sun visors, which lose their "spring" each summer. When I arrived, I was told it would take 2 hours and cost $329. Four hours later, my car was finally finished, and the bill had somehow jumped to just under $400. Ok, not horrible. A few hours later, I realized the sun visors were replaced BACKWARDS. What kind of amateur mechanic doesn't realize the visors aren't facing the right way? I went on Showcase Honda's website to write and e-mail and voice my dissatisfaction about 18 hours ago. I have already received two calls from them, both times trying to sell me a new vehicle. "We heard you're unhappy with your car and may be interested in upgrading to a new model." No! I love my Civic and do not need a new car. They clearly didn't even read the message I wrote them. All they want is your money; they don't care about customer satisfaction. read more

Normally I wouldn't say anything but it's been one thing after another and a couple 40 min installs has turned into almost a 4 hour wait time. I don't mind waiting when I am told how long.
