I was a little concerned when there were not enough people at this restaurant but it turned out to be fine. The tom yum soup is pretty fresh though I would've wished that the mushroom melded with the soup a bit more. It was a hair too raw which left that earthy-mushroom taste a little too strong. Our other dish -- a cripsy one -- was delightful but nothing that you wouldn't find elsewhere. The curry was also good but a solid 4 -- nothing necessarily to rave about when you have a plethora of Thai eateries nearby.

Crab Meat Fried Rice - beautifully presented and just as delicious (according to my colleague!) - $14

Do I sound like a broken record? imo, Siam Spice STILL DESERVES 5 STARS. I'm still mainly a call-in, to-go takeout customer DURING LUNCHTIME. Yes, even as a takeout customer, I give this place 5 stars. DO take advantage of their Lunch Specials menu and pricing. Many of your favorite Thai classics as well as some really good specialty dishes on the lunch menu. Lunch specials come with a mini app and rice. Portion sizes are decent - not huge but decent enough for the price. I love their Spicy String Bean (with choice of meat) - the spicy zingy sauce combines well with the tender meat and crunchy sautéed string beans. We also love the Siam Steak specialty dish (not a Lunch Special) worth the slightly higher price. The steak is tender and good cuts of beef. The special sauce/marinade is flavorful and delicious - and when I ordered the dish as a carryout, they thoughtfully provided the marinade separately on the side. Another favorite (check out all my pics) is the Thai Chicken Salad Larb. LOVE the spicy dressing which I always ask for "on the side." I have this as a main entree - goes great with a side of rice and a spring roll. LOVE their spring rolls - a single order consists of 4 small rolls - delicious filling, perfectly crispy crunchy deep fried wrapper skin. The staff is wonderful, friendly and accommodating. The interior and space is super small but super clean, neat and quaintly and tastefully decorated. Food is ready quickly and everything is sooo fresh, piping hot and delicious right out the kitchen. Full bar. If you live in Sterling around the Sterling Blvd area (Safeway, McDs, Taco Bell/KFC', Harbor Freight), highly recommend a pop in for lunch or dinner (pro tip: take advantage of their lunch specials even if you save your meal for dinner!). Consistently good going back before covid. (Read my other reviews for other tips, tricks and recommendations! They all still stand.)

I was in the area for training and this place is tucked in between a laundromat and other businesses. There are plenty of parking, as you walked in, there are limited of seatings but manageable. I was greeted with a smile from my server. I ordered 3 items: 1) Siam spice wings 2) Grilled beef salad 3) Pad see eiw. When my food arrived to the table, one by one, they were pretty display. The wings were piping hot so be careful on your first bite. These were very flavorful from outside to in, sweet and savory dancing on your palate. You can use your hands but I recommend to use a fork or chopsticks. You won't be able to just eat one, every bite was better. Don't forget the also eat the garnished salad that comes with it too. The grilled beef salad was unique with fresh herbs, roasted rice, lime juice and red onions. I realize later that this dish would be better if it was accompanied by streamed or sticky rice. The flat rice noodle dish (pad see eiw) was a little dry but tasty. Everything was delicious and my server was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. The restaurant was clean and cozy. I would most likely make a return visit to try other items are the menu.

Came in here on a Wednesday night and it's pretty quiet and cozy! I ordered the drunken noodle with beef and it wasn't very spicy at all. However, the flavor was good, and the noodle texture was soft and chewy. It was a bit on the oily side, but I think that's just the nature of Thai food here. I ordered the mango sticky rice but the waitress gave me just the sticky rice. Also not too sweet and the rice was nice and chewy.

My husband and I decided to dine at Siam Spice on a whim. We tried the cheese wontons -wontons with cream cheese filling and sweet and sour dipping sauce. My husband really liked these and I recommend them for cream cheese lovers. I had the drunken noodles with beef which was excellent. The beef was perfectly cooked and the dish was prepared with mild spice as requested. My husband liked his parang curry as well. The food was made quickly and the service was great. We will gladly dine here again the next time we're in the area.

The place lives up to its good reviews. The restaurant is cozy and tastefully decorated. Cheese wontons with sweet and spicy sauce were soft on the inside but crunchy on the outside. Definitely recommend trying them. Basil fried rice was flavourful but not too strong. The green curry was slightly disappointing, the flavour of the curry was really good but the consistency was a Little watery and not as expected. Mango sticky rice is a classic and lives upto the expectation.

Siam Spice is worth checking out for those looking to satisfy their thai food craving. They offer an impressive selection on their menu that includes all the usual Thai favorites such as Pad Thai, Drunken Noodle, and Pad Se Ew. They also offer unique stir fry and curry dishes utilizing Thai seasonings which were pretty tasty. For this visit, I tried the spicy green bean entree and drunken noodle. Both entrees were made to order and had a very generous portion. Definitely the best bang for your buck. The spicy green beans were cooked with a spicy sauce and still had a snap when bitten into. The sauce was a good punch of sweet, spicy, and savory. The drunken noodle was cooked perfectly with charred edges on the noodles and a good balance of sauce, noodles, and toppings. Also the staff and service is top notch! They are incredibly responsive and friendly. I don't venture out to Sterling too often but glad we came across this gem. Will be back for sure the next time we are in the area.

I found this restaurant on Mapquest looking for a restaurant that was close to a work site visit. I called on Monday to make a reservation for a group of 11. The representative gave me great directions on where it was located in the shopping center. I noticed the restaurant closes at 330 and our reservation was at 230pm and they assured us they wouldn't rush us out. We arrived a day later and a few minutes early and our table was reserved. Mint was our server and was awesome. I ordered the Thai ice tea and the shrimp spicy basil wand it was delicious. My colleagues ordered the drunken noodle and it was a tad spicy for them. Mint made sure she adjusted their dishes to their liking. The restaurant is cute and service was spot on! When I'm back in Loudoun County, I'll have to check it out.

Nothing exceptional but good quality, good food And a fair amount of steak in mine for $16. I wish I could say the same about the service or lack there of provided by the two young female servers. For starters, they have zero communication skills. They drop things at the table and just stand there without a word. I did not receive the Vietnamese coffee that I ordered until I asked for it nor was I asked whether or not I wanted it with whipped cream - there's was no description on the menu so I wasn't aware it came with whipped cream. When we placed our order we asked for extra cilantro and received no cilantro at all. Once the runner delivered our food no one came over to ask how everything had turned out, if we needed anything else etc. The lack of communication, lack of attention to detail and quite frankly complete lack of personality turned a pleasant afternoon meal into a disappointment. It's a shame because I saw several other things on the menu that I'd like to try but I'm not interested in being in that unpleasant atmosphere again

We were here for an early dinner on Saturday. Once we were greeted, we were told to pick where we wanted to sit. As other Yelpers mentioned, the dining area is small. We sat at a two-top next to another couple, who were clearly regular customers. After we looked at the menu and decided what we wanted, our server arrived promptly. For a starter, we both ordered "vegetable and tofu soup," which consists of "mixed vegetables and tofu in light broth topped with fried garlic and scallions." Sadly, it arrived at the table with no "fried garlic", but still had good flavor. We liked the variety of veggies: baby corn, broccoli, cabbage, snow peas, and carrots. We both thought that the broth could have been a bit more flavorful. To drink, I ordered a Thai iced tea, which was well made. My husband had a light beer. For my main course, I got "lava chicken". I asked if this dish had white meat, and our server said "yes". It consists of "lightly battered chicken stir-fry with sweet chili sauce, topped with scallions and carrots." I had never seen this dish on any Thai restaurant menu before. I would order it again; the sweet chili sauce had a little kick, which I didn't mind. The portion was huge! I took the leftovers home, and we ate them for dinner last night. The dish was still as flavorful as if we had just ordered it. My husband got the "cashew" entree and added shrimp for his protein. Besides the shrimp, the dish consists of "stir-fried cashews, scallions, onions, and carrots in sweet chili paste sauce." Both dishes were served with white rice. Thinking about the food we had, I told my husband it was made with love. His dish was very attractive-looking. In fact, the couple sitting next to us asked my husband about his dish and if he liked it. The server offered us a portion of ice cream; it had a great flavor. Every staff member we interacted with was very polite and friendly. One of them, an older man, insisted on boxing up my leftovers. I wouldn't have minded doing it myself. It was a nice gesture. When we left, the staff wished us a good evening, and we returned the greeting. We let them know that we will be back. Some things to know: they have quite a few tables outside. The restaurant is hard to see because it is set back from the main parking lot. If you see Qdoba, Thaitastic is a short walk around the corner. There is parking in the rear, too.

They were the best drunken noodles I've had around here by far. And the Ka Prow fried rice was so smoky and full of flavor! It makes all other fried rices feel boring in comparison. This time I ordered the Kao Soi chicken. It had a delicious red curry sauce and two whole chicken legs with the egg noodles. I loved how rich the flavor of the soup is. The full grilled squid was something we ordered on our first time and it was also really good but I think a tad overcooked.
