We have been waiting in anticipation of this restaurant opening, since we are huge fans of BayKaya (the owner's original restaurant), and Osteria did not disappoint! Dark, intimate ambience with friendly service! Our waitress Lindsay was super attentive. Drinks were incredible. We got the burrata foccacia and Chef's Choice cheese/ meat plate along w/ the sausage and broccoli rabe for appetizers. All absolutely delicious! For entrees, my party each ordered something different- Carbonara, Anchovy Linguine Special, Short Rib, and Cacio di Pepe. Everyone was very satisfied and satiated by the end of our visit! I am already planning a return visit so we can try more off the menu because everything was so amazing! This place is great for meeting friends or a romantic night for 2. I know we will be frequenting this establishment. Thank you Chris for bringing even more life to Downtown!

Love this place!!! Came for lunch and really enjoyed both the Italian Beef Sandwich and the Potchetta Sandwiches. Great Italian Beef Sammy and some of the best Porchetta this side of Tuscany. Finished with a house made affogato with house made gelato. Caroline was our guide to deliciousness and fantastic server. We will be returning for dinner very soon as there's so many great menu items to be had! Style is very clean and sharp and can accommodate a casual lunch or special dinner. Easy parking in this area! Don't miss out on this gem if a place in the heart of Springfield!!!

Went to Osteria for our anniversary and it did not disappoint. We were greeted immediately by a friendly host who gave us a choice of a high top or low table. We sat by the front window opposite a beautiful mural across the street. Our waitress, Kat, was great- very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and specials. Wine selection was nice . We started with a meatball small plate which was not small- took half home. Delicious meatballs- very moist and flavorful. We split a Caesar salad which was a good thing because it was very large. That too was fresh and delicious! Our entrees were salmon and a special-hanger steak which was cooked to perfection. Salmon was very tender and cooked perfectly served on tomato heirloom risotto. Would have loved to have dessert but we were very full. Highly recommend this place!

Second time here , and it was just as good as the first time ! Food was awesome . We ordered basically 2 of each course to try . We did the Burrata focaccia and arancini balls as an app accompanied by 2 extra dirty martinis with blue cheese stuffed olives . So good. Next we did the classic Caesar salad and arugula salad . Scrumptious. For dinner , we ordered the cacio e Pepe and the ragu alla bolognese. Both were really good. Like a high class Mac And cheese and braised short rib ragu ahhh so good. Dessert we did 2 espresso martinis accompanied by a flight of gelato and the homemade zeppolis . Can't wait to eat here again.

What a beautiful restaurant. Lindsey was so accommodating to our large party. We had the loft space and Alex paid special attention to our group. We loved the food. Everyone of our dinners were amazing. We will be back!

Absolutely perfect gnocchi! Caesar salad was perfectly dressed. Both delicious! My friend had linguini muscles and it was LOADED with muscles! Unfortunately the pic doesn't do it justice but there were at least 30 muscles...something rarely seen at a restaurant but Osteria definitely stepped up their game with this dish!

Food was amazing! I got the salmon special. I started with a lemon drop martini, we got the meatballs and the buratta appetizer both were to die for even my 12 year old loved it! My daughter got the vodka pasta. PS they make their own limoncello!!!

Went tonight to celebrate my husbands birthday and had a great time. Good drink selection and full wine list. We had the meatballs as a starter and they were delicious! My husband got the Ragú alla Bolognese with pappardelle and my daughter and I split the Rigatoni Vodka. Very generous portions! We finished our meal with espresso martinis and Zeppole. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. We'll definitely be back!

My second time here, and it was as good as the first. It's absolutely delicious. The Bolognese I would get again again. The Panna cotta is on point!

Lenox has some really cool spots and Ombra is one of them. Recommended by a local, we stopped here on Valentine's Day after our dinner for a nice glass of wine. The place was crowded but luckily a few people were leaving so we scored some seats at the bar. I ordered a glass of Nebbiolo from Italy which was good. My husband had a beer. The place is so cute and very romantic with dim lights, a great wine selection and their food looked so good. Unfortunately, we were so full that we did not end up ordering anything. Although, the french fries were calling my name. Ombra is a place that I could see us coming to almost every week and not getting tired of it. We met a local who is very nice and told us how Ombra is very popular. I think we will have to come back in the spring/summer to get those french fries :) If you are ever in Lenox definitely make your way to Ombra for a nice glass of wine or try a cocktail. This is the perfect date night spot for sure whether you start or end your evening here, you will be happy! Cheers~

The ambiance was cozy and inviting, though our table was in the middle of the aisle which felt a bit cramped. Unfortunately, the service itself was inconsistent. We had to ask for bread three times. When we ordered two brownies and one coffee, we were brought one brownie and two coffees. At the end of the meal, we asked for both my meal and my son's meal to be wrapped to go. My son's plate was accidentally thrown away because other plates were stacked on top of it. When I asked about it, the server explained what happened but did not offer to remake it, remove it from the bill, or apologize, which was disappointing. That said, it was a busy Friday during Restaurant Week, so I would consider coming back and hope the service is smoother next time. While writing this review, I actually received a text from the restaurant letting me know we left our son's plate behind, which was thoughtful and appreciated. If Yelp allowed half stars, I would give 3.5.

Big place that takes up a entire corner in downtown Chicopee, MA. Three parking lots behind the restaurant. Offering lunch & dinner Sun-Thu 11:30am-9pm, Fri & Sat 11:30am-10pm. We visited here on Saturday evening April 18. 2026. This place was highly recommended by our friends from the German-american Club of Albany (NY). Half our party had been here many previous times & for the other half, it was our first time. This day they were hosting their annual wild game feast in the banquet hall. 50+ people attended this event. Munich Haus has 20 or so special events per year. Our party of six was here for dinner. Our server was the spunky Maria who made this a memorable dinner. We were here for their famous schnitzels. A hearty meal excellently prepared and served eight ways. Comes with soup or salad and choice of two sides (i.e. spaetzle, potato pancakes, sauerkraut, red cabbage, or chef's vegetable). Also you can get a schnitzel sampler of 3 varieties. WOW! Also offered are sauerbraten, rouladen, chicken Reisling, braised lamb shanks, a variety of wursts (sausages) and delicious dessets. It's simply WUNDERBAR! Many thanks again to Maria & the rest of the Munich Haus staff for a tasty & memorable dinner road trip "for a taste of Germany, no passport required." I come here every few years because I love German food, when I am in the mood. I've always liked it…read more... this time it was so-so. The food was a 3 star affair, at the most. Staff was 5 star. Atmosphere, 4 stars. The menu here is almost exactly same as the famous Student Prince restaurant in Springfield. Parking is much easier but I prefer the Student Prince's old school 1940's decor. The prices are similar ... high. 3 p.m. dinner only menu. Seriously?? The prices are double vs. lunch. Who eats dinner at 3 p.m. Those 10 minutes in between 2:50 pm and 3:00 pm cost me about $25 extra. The worst part of my meal ... Apple Strudel dessert. This isn't apple strudel. It's a weird thin-skinned apple pie with a lot of almost creamy chopped apple filling. The filling seems to contain cream of some sort and tasted a bit sour/spoiled. There is no satisfying crispiness or crunch ... it's a sloppy mess. Definitely recommend not getting this. Jager Schnitzel ... The brown gravy sauce with mushrooms was fantastic. However, there wasn't enough of it and the pork was dry and pounded way too thin, so it felt a little like eating a piece of cardboard with panko breading. Spaetzel ... Great. On the small side but perfectly buttered and tasted great. Red cabbage was also very good. Salad ... Came with the meal but I was charged $3 more for Roquefort cheese dressing. Wasn't told about the upcharge ... but the other options for dressing weren't very exciting. The Roquefort is a few crumbles of cheese mixed into sweet Russian dressing. Probably would just go with a regular dressing. The staff was great and the waitress was so perky and helpful. The host was extremely nice and accommodating. Nothing bad to say about the staff here ... they are probably the only reason I am giving 4 vs. 3 stars. The prices seem very high ... $19 for 2 sausages ... $26 for Schnitzel ... $14 - $19 for appetizers. $13 pretzel. It's all high quality stuff for sure. But, after tip, my bill was $60 for Schnitzel, a beer and a so-called Struedel. I guess that's kind of everywhere these days though. If you like German food, which is hard to find, they've been doing it for a long time. It's good ... but nothing amazing. The restaurant is clean ... staff is nice ... and menu is unique and authentic. Beer list is good and though $9 each, it comes in a tall glass ... 22 ounces?

A Valentine's dinner that did not impress!…read more Valentine's has always been a very special holiday for me. My husband and I decided to spend the weekend in the Berkshires, which was lovely and quiet. I made reservations ahead of time for this highly rated wine bar and very close to where we were staying. First off, due to the previous weather/storms they had no street parking. But luckily we parked in a nearby lot. Upon arrival, the restaurant bar area was very nice and romantic. The server brought us to our table but I was a bit disappointed in the ambiance. I mean the bar area was a bit darker and the table that we were being seated at had a lot of light. Now, don't get me wrong, It was Valentine's day which screams romantic and there was no romantic vibe to this restaurant. After mentioning this to our server she did move us and turned down the lights a bit which was much better. Food/Drinks: The menu was not big at all which was nice. I ordered a dirty martini to start which needed more olive juice and my husband ordered a rum cocktail which he enjoyed. For starters, I ordered their Over Roasted Parsnip which was very good and filling. My husband had their Beet Salad which he said was excellent. For entrees, I had their Seared Duck Breast. I really enjoyed the caramel sauce but did not love the duck itself. My husband had the Oven Roasted Chicken Statler which was very dry he could barley eat it. Also, since this is a wine bar I will say the wines were nothing special which was also a bit disappointing. I wish they had something unique and special to offer especially being on a Valentine's Day. I feel this place may be more of a summer destination. Service: Service was excellent I will say. Our server was always asking how things were, checking on us and if we needed anything and asking about any additional drinks. etc. Also, the Manager came over to ask how everything was but he spefically looked at me. I think my husband would've mentioned his meal being dry if he looked at him as well but my husband could've spoken up too. We did say something to our server after she asked about the chicken dish, which they ended up taken off the bill which was very nice. Overall: I didn't love Alta Wine Bar my first time here, but I would come back in the spring or summer months when the weather is warm to try it again. Cheers~
