I'm always surprised to see the amount of mixed reviews for this place, so I'm leaving my unsolicited opinion. I love this place! Granted, I only eat pizza here so I can't vouch for the wings/fries/sandwiches. I've ordered pick up or delivery from Sicilian regularly for the last two years and I've never had an issue- not with the pizza (consistently delicious- I recommend the Buffalo Chicken or Supreme), delivery (on time), or staff (there's a woman who works the cash register that's so friendly, and two men I've interacted with who were less so, but I don't go to a pizza place to make friends...so who cares?). Also, their pizza is surprisingly affordable , so I'll keep recommending this place. read more

It's not your gourmet-foo-foo-esoteric-ingredient-laden-over-suaced-and-under-cheesed pizza (lost dog is around the corner if you like that), it's just good, honest pizza. This is darn good pizza!!!!!!!! I found this place by accident after my faithful standby -- Cafe Pizzaiolo -- was already closed by 10 pm on a Saturday! (Huh? Where they do that at?!?!) Enter "Sicilian Pizza" to the rescue. WHOA, is all I can say. This was THE BEST--no, seriously, folks, THE BEST--pepperoni pizza I've had in a long, long, LONNNNNNNNG time. I don't even know how to fully explain the taste -- but it reminds me of the Pizza Hut pies I fell in love with as a kid many decades ago, but only this time made with real, fresh ingredients that I can actually pronounce. (Now I know what you're thinking... I know it's a little funny to compare a great pizza with a chain pie, but I promise you that I'm not steering you wrong on this one. You know how every chain has a signature "taste" -- Papa John's is different from Domino's is different from Little Caesar's is different from Pizza Hut, etc? Well, I haven't purposefully ordered a chain pizza in many years (i.e. my wallet has finally caught up with my palate's sophistication), but I would say that this pizza comes the closest to Pizza Hut's in taste and crust density -- only it's light years better!) Chicken on the salad is real and browned... spaghetti is more like a quiche and less great... all delivered to my door in 30 minutes... and with a smile. Fillmore Pizza is really good for what it promises. It is good, straightforward pizza - not fancy, not gourmet. Just competent pizza done well. The crust is the weak link. it's just so-so. I always order extra sauce to add a little flavor that the crust fails to provide. The sauce is excellent, cheese flavorful and stringy, and toppings seem fresh and good quality. If you want a pie delivered in south Arlington this is the place. My review of the fancier Lost Dog explains their problems with delivery. So if you want good, hot, quality - if decidedly non-gourmet - pizza, this is a good bet. read more

TERRIBLE PIZZA. Virtually inedible. The crust was tasteless, the sauce tasted like it was out of a bad can, the cheese was inedible. A little over a hour to deliver. Not bad considering estimated delivery time was 50 mins. Mediocre Margarita pizza - thin crust, little sauce (to be expected), two basil leaves per pizza slice (how about dice basil up and add to entire pizza), and NO shredded chicken meat that I paid extra to add. Ordered here for the first time this past week. Prosciutto pizza and wings were both excellent but....Echoing the first review - the delivery driver did not have change. Not acceptable and next time we're sending the order back. So basically great food but unacceptable service. They're apparently still very new so will give them some time to get things together and try again. Update -- First time was a three star experience subsequent times have been 4-5 five stars.... Giving them five, because overall it's the best pizza in Arlington and DC for that matter. We probably order from them once every two weeks and pretty much every menu item is top notch. Had one order of wings that wasn't great but usually they are better than most wing-focused establishment. Overall excellent food and service. read more

This place gets 4 stars for being pretty cheap and having a really low delivery minimum ($10). Full disclosure, the rating is almost entirely based on their sandwiches and not the rest of their pretty large menu. So if you're looking to hear about their pasta or pizza, I'm the wrong reviewer. The truth is the food is probably closer to a "3" in terms of quality across the board. I think that's what happens when you offer every "Italian" dish under the sun. I've dabbled in quite a few of the appetizers and sandwiches. The appetizers ranged from good to not good... at all. But the good news is I've tried about 5 or 6 of their sandwiches I haven't been disappointed yet. So let's talk sandwiches, cause I love sandwiches. In my experience anything you get from here that has oil in it will be a little heavy on the oil. I have ordered the Capri and the eggplant sandwich and in both cases I asked myself "Should I be eating this with a knife and fork?". I'd say I prefer a little extra oil so I'm not going to crucify them on it, but it's a warning to anyone who might be put off by this. The amount of sauce they put on is a little on the heavy side, but not as heavy as the oil. If I'm in an oil mood, I really like The Capri or Milano (the two or very similar) and eggplant. For more of a traditional feel the steak and turkey are great as well. Again, this place gets an extra point for cost + delivery. They have a great 12.99 two sandwich + chips special. For me, this translates to about 17-18 bucks for 2 meals + me being lazy and not having to leave the house. I'm a big fan. read more

O love love this pizza, specially my thin crust spicy buffalo chicken pizza with fetta cheese. Well, obviously this is a pizza not on the menu but i just love it that way and the way it taste when i order it from there is so much better and mmmmm... then when i order it from other places. The people are always smiling and polite. The only bad thing is that they don't have shades in the windows because when I am with my nieces I like to go it in, and sometimes the sun is just strong. But my nieces like it too because they are friendly. I am trying to get them to buy them maybe they should have a tip jar intended for it. anyways doesn't matter bottom line. Have been to this area and have always meant to try this place. We did on 09-22, and it was FANTASTIC! We walked in to their tiny ordering dining are (two, count 'em, TWO dining tables) and we were acknowledged by the gentleman behind the counter,even though he was in the middle of taking a delivery order. Nice touch! We ordered the Portobello specialty pizza (portobello, marinated red peppers, mozzarella & feta cheese, and spinach) and an order of their cheese bread. The price was reasonable, and the order was ready in just under 15 minutes. This means they use a conveyor belt oven vs a traditional deck oven (I used to work in a pizza restaurant for years). First the cheesebread. Basically it is their small pizza with cheddar/mozarella mix.It's pretty good, but my wife and I were expecting it on some kind of their homemade bread that their menu keeps touting. But alas, it is not that way. The cheesebread is fine, but it's a bit too basic. They could jazz it up a bit if they really applied themselves. Ok, on the the pizza! Loved it. Loveditloveditlovedit! The crust was thin, sturdy, but not of the ultra thin cracker type crust, and definitely not the thin and wimpy crust that is mysteriously popular at upscale pizza places in Dupont. Toppings were fresh and generous, and the pizza was perfectly made. My old boss at the pizza restaurant I used to work at always told me "ever bite needs to taste the same." This place deserves 0 stars. I order from them regularly and their service and food has gone down the drain. Today I ordered my usual roasted eggplant sandwich. The eggplant is burnt. The bread is hard and falling apart inside. And there is no feta cheese. I called them to ask for my money back or for them to replace the sandwich with the correct one and the male who answered the phone simply said they will give me 20% off my next order. I asked for my money back twice more and was denied because I took a bite out of the sandwich. I was once a regular here, and ordered at least twice a month. But no more. Beware. I ordered a Margarita pizza from here last night and some garlic bread. The pizza was decent, the tomatoes were fresh and so was the basil. They added quite a bit of basil and I liked that. However the garlic bread but it wasn't garlic bread. It was more like a small cheese pizza, so I most likely won't get it again. I ordered from this place last night because I didn't feel like cooking and I really wanted some spaghetti. So I took a chance and I was pleasantly surprised. The cheese bread is sooo yummy..My boyfriend who is not a fan of cheese enjoyed it as well, as it tasted like pizza to him. The spaghetti was baked and it was pretty good...it wasn't the best I've ever had but it served it's purpose and filled my tummy. My boyfriend order the chicken wings and fries. This review is based on a single medium, garlic sauce, pepperoni and spinach pizza I ordered from here on March 24, 2019. I ordered carry-out, so I can't speak to delivery. But the one pizza I had here was absolutely phenomenal. The crust was soft and flavorful, the spinach was cooked just right and slightly crispy, the garlic sauce was on point as the kids say. Maybe I just caught them on a really good day, but I'll definitely be ordering from here again. A few points: (1) the pizza is definitely not what's usually called "Sicilian pizza", i.e. it's not a rectangular, pan pie. maybe the owners are just from Sicily or something. I am not sure what happened to Sicilian Pizza. It was our go to pizza spot on the pike, but our last two orders were badly botched. The first one was over an hour and a half and this last one we just cancelled after an hour and a half, when they said it would be another 30 minutes. This last time was particularly egregious because I called, they out me on hold and proceeded to leave it unmuted so so I heard all the non-work related conversation while I waited for five minutes. My husband called and they dealt with him right away. They didn't even offer a discount or complimentary item fir our trouble, just an extra half hour to wait for the food we paid for already. Insult to injury. We will not be ordering from them again. Save yourself the trouble and just order Lost Dog. read more

Best pizza takeout in Arlington. Hands down. They pride themselves on fresh ingredients, and it shows. Pizza quality is easily 5/5. The Large Two-topping pickup special is $8.99...buy two of them and for less than $20, you have yourself some high quality pizza that's ready to feed a family of 5!! I've only ordered delivery from this place but out of all the Arlington pizza places, this is the closest that comes to New York style pizza. Not too much sauce and cheese but enough to adequately cover the crust. Also, wonderful to eat cold! The small pizza is a bit too small so order the medium for 1 person or large for 2 people (or dinner and breakfast!) Also, they're nice enough to throw in some dressing on the side for free if you call in and ask. And the orders are always prompt! They deliver within 30 minutes. read more

Delivered: waited an hour for cold pizza, frozen tiramisu. The pizza had little sauce and poor quality mozzarella which I could have overlooked if it had been warm. Maybe if it had been warm the sauce would have been less noticeable. I don't know but I was not satisfied at all with my first order from here. Last order from here.
