Food tastes amazing and the service from the staff was top tier! The ambience of the place was very well lit and gave a cozy higher class vibe. I will be back often all summer!

Super cute restaurant with 2 outdoor seating area both in the front and back of the restaurant. Perfect for the warm weather. The restaurant was fairly busy at around 6pm on a Monday night and we were seated right away. I ordered the burger and asked for a medium but it was cooked well done. However the fries were super good. One star off for an issue with the menu. We ordered the mussel and fries as an entree but we're not told that a small order did not include fries. When our food arrived we asked the waiter about our fries and a manager came who was not the most pleasant. She could have definitely handled the situation differently. Overall, would still definitely return because the food was good!

One of the nicer restaurants in the area. Nice table clothed dining. Lacks French vibes but food is quite good. Wine list isn't too intimidating but nothing jumps out. Seafood pasta and duck dishes have a nice mix of elements and left us wanting more. For example the duck dish has both the confit (leg) and some duck breast. The only slight negative is that bread is NOT complimentary, which I joked about. But it is a tad unpleasant to wait for entrees with nothing to nosh on. Towards the end, the restaurant was gracious enough to provide a basket. Guess this isn't Europe ;)

Perhaps the BEST FRENCH ONION Soup I have ever tasted in my whole life!!!

Unreal place with amazing ambiance and the food is inexplicably good! This French onion soup was literally the best soup I have ever had simply "HANDS DOWN"! The owner and his wife as well as some regular patrons, made me feel like I was one of the regular crowd (just like family)...

The word brasserie comes from the Middle French brasser, meaning "to brew," and Brasserie D honors that tradition with an extensive selection of beers, as well as a curated list of wines and spirits. The service, ambiance, and menu are quintessentially French, featuring classic dishes from across the regions--including specialties from Alsace. We began our feast with a rustic Pâté de Campagne, accompanied by cornichons, mixed greens, and toasted baguette. We also shared Hareng Pomme à l'Huile--smoked herring imported from France, served over warm, tender potatoes. The youngest in our party kept himself occupied with his Nintendo Switch and two generous helpings of Alain's world-class pommes frites. After careful deliberation, he declared them superior to McDonald's--a high honor in the world of six-year-olds. For mains, standouts included the hearty Beef Bourguignon, the tender Jarret d'Agneau (braised lamb shank with root vegetables in an orange-rosemary sauce), and the regional showstopper Choucroute Colmar--a robust dish of smoked meats and sausages served over sauerkraut. Brasserie D is a true gem--authentic, welcoming, and well worth the trip on Metro North for a meal that satisfies both palate and spirit.

Well, it looked a lot better than what it was. It was totally bland and certainly not a pound and a half of lobster meat. It was truly disappointing. We ordered some oysters which were fresh and tasty but that lobster salad was definitely lacking. All in all the first visit hands down was truly a nice affair but our second visit was disappointing. Cool atmosphere, great energy, and good food! I also got super lucky with Hailey as my waitress. Yup, that's right, I told her what I liked and trusted her to pick my three dishes. And listen, when your name is on the menu for crafting a cocktail, I'm going to trust you to pick my meal too! Now for the food: the grilled octopus was amazing. Great flavor, perfect texture, and a really nice balance with the lentils. The shishito peppers were delicious, and the sauce that came with them added the perfect pop of flavor. The beet salad, however, was a little underwhelming. Unfortunately, it didn't have much flavor, so that one left me a bit disappointed. And then there was dessert. Oh man! Hailey did it again. She brought out the sweet corn cheesecake. Sounds weird, I know, but I had to try it. And yes, it definitely had sweet corn! It was a little too weird for my taste buds, but I'm glad I tried it.... Then came the Madeleines. Bite-sized, warm, and absolutely delicious. Fair warning: if you don't tell them to take the bowl away, you WILL eat the entire thing. Man oh man...so good!!! Overall, a really fun experience with a great atmosphere, good food, and a waitress who genuinely made the experience memorable. Kudos to Hailey for the great service and for knowing exactly what to recommend! She definitely made my night.
