Could've easily been fixed with some more salt and pepper or literally any other spice like cayenne or something. I thought the ratio of pork to noodle was actually fine, but the sweetness of the pork wasn't really working well for me. If it was more of a dry salty pork then maybe I could've gotten behind it. In theory it's a great idea, but the execution just wasn't great. The staff was nice though, super chill vibe. I do regret ordering the Mac and cheese though so hopefully my mistake can be your guide for what to order! This joint was a fun, patriotic, great service restaurant for us to enjoy our last dinner in Bozeman at. It is a very large restaurant/bar that is clearly popular with the area residents given the amount of people waiting. We probably waited maybe 20 minutes tops for a high top. Service was on point, we had a server who was training someone that evening and they both took great care of us. We ordered a couple of local craft beers/cider and one of their signature pretzels. We also ordered the Chicken Pesto and Nashville Chicken sandwiches after grilling the server on what items were the best. All of the food was very good and filling. I did the coleslaw as my side as was pleasantly surprised to find it was not the creamy kind (score). Too full on our food intake to try the dessert menu, maybe next time. Really dug this place, patriotic spot with great food, tons of tvs, and really great service. Had a variety of items from the patty melt to a chicken pesto sandwich. The restaurant was beautiful, the seating was a bit awkward but that's alright. Our server was very helpful and recommended us a great starter that we enjoyed. We got the sidewinder pretzel and stuffed it with the sidewinder pizza toppings. It was definitely the best thing we had there. The French onion soup was bland, had no depth of flavor and the bottom was full of dry herbs. I had the Reuben. It was lacking meat and tasted like something I'd get at a 7/11 and the fries that came with it were not seasoned at all. My wife had the chicken pot pie with the Caesar salad. To start the lettuce was not washed well and left a bitter dirt taste that was highlighted because there wasn't enough dressing mixed in. Also the salad was barely mixed. 3/4 of the cheese was stacked up on one side of the plate. The pot pie was an unsettling texture that resembled mush. The carrots and potatoes were the same texture and the chicken was dry and stringy. To top it off the puff pastry on top was under baked and doughy in the center. To wrap it up I'm not sure if we just came in on a rough night or if we just ordered the wrong things but I won't be back to find out. read more

Oh my! Oh my! Too bad these folks aren't in our area (Pensacola, FL). They would be a great fit in any of the military towns Pensacola, Fort Walton/Destin! So ... hubby ordered the Chicken Caesar Wrap (it was huge!), and I ordered the Pot Pie (featured on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives). Y'all, I'm picky eater, but it was hard to decide what I wanted to order because there were several things that sounded yummy. We ordered the chicken pot pie and salmon entrees. For the salmon entree, we got broccolini and mashed potatoes; it also came with a roll and butter. For the chicken pot pie, we got the caesar salad. Went to dinner with 20+ of my coworkers. Food: 5 Stars Service: 5 Stars Atmosphere: 5 Stars We had a large group for dinner, and our server was amazing! I had their pretzel and the Brussels sprouts. The pretzel can be stuffed with any pizza topping. I had cheese. Everyone who tried it loved it. The Brussels sprouts were very good as well. The ribs were a hit. I heard no complaints from anyone with the over 25 dishes ordered. There was plenty of parking and we were seated quickly. I definitely recommend this place. Local or visitor I would prioritize trying Sidewinders! Bonus- I went with my family a couple days later since I had such a good experience. We enjoyed all of our selections. After a full day at the Museum of the Rockies (I also highly recommend) it was a great way to refuel. My daughter loved her pizza, and the pretzel we ordered only lasted a couple minutes. Having sampled a dozen or so items, I can say I haven't found a weak spot. We also watched a couple games. They have TVs everywhere with different games on. We love Sidewinders. You have to time to appearance, otherwise you may not get a seat for a while, but this is our go-to date spot. There's always something new and fancy to eat, or just good old burgers and pub style food. We also enjoy coming here to try some of their drinks, as we don't really go to bars. read more

Great food and staff! We sat outside on the patio so it was toasty (but we knew it might be) but the bartender/waiter was great. Only thing that would made it more tolerable would be a patio fan rolling on hot summer days. Their food can be pricey but overall it's good! The portions are huge. My daughter and I split a pasta dish and they did it for us without charging extra like some places. Their "single slice" pizza is ENORMOUS-- legitimately the diameter of 3 slices from the chain pizza places-- and great! You can also get half orders of salads and certain other things if you just ask-- it's not mentioned on the menu (or at least not that I saw). Overall, pretty fun/casual atmosphere. P.s. there's a kids game room back towards the restrooms! We missed it until we were leaving, but cool feature when you have kids getting antsy while waiting for food :) read more

It's hard to please those teenagers ya know! So when I asked me Montana State hopeful what he rated our meal he said a solid 10! Do not skip the stuff your own pretzel. Melt in your mouth amazing! The golden cheese as the side too! I had the salmon and grilled broccolini. Mmmmmmmmm! Top it off with friendly service, lively atmosphere and a "Proud to Serve" Pro American vibe. This place is just ok. Atmosphere - I like the atmosphere of this place, very patriotic which is cool. Service - We arrived around 9:10pm and they close at 10pm so thinking everyone would be rushing to get out of there, we were very surprised to find such a pleasant staff. We were seated and given the option of the bar or a booth. Our server greeted us with a smile and we didn't feel rushed at all. He went over the menu and gave us time to look. I went with the bison burger and that's the reason for the rating. Food - the bison burger was meh. My boyfriend got the cajun burger. We both received buns that was rock hard and couldn't bite thru. I ended up taking the bun off. The bison lacked flavor and the cajun burger was basically a burger with a dry season thrown on top after the burger was cooked. The toppings were also disappointing - the onions were literally sliced and not broken apart and about an inch of onion was thrown on the plate. The cheese wasn't melted, it was just there. The sweet potato fries, though they came out cold, they were good. My boyfriend liked his regular fries too. I feel the kitchen staff was probably in a hurry and last minute diners get shafted. All in all, I'd probably give this place another go if I was in town but I would come a lot earlier in the day. read more
