Fresh, delicious donuts and great iced coffee! The donuts were soft, fresh, and full of flavor, and the iced coffee was the perfect complement. Friendly service and a great spot for a quick breakfast or snack. I'll definitely be coming back!

Updating my Review This time for the Huge # Cake Donut! My Gfren wanted a # cake donut for her daughter last min. She had no luck so I recall Sierra Donuts making them. Gave them a call, Judy answered all my questions. Informed me if i wanted the donut the next day, deadline to order was the day b4 they close at 1 p.m. Took my payment over the phone and it was a breeze. Sierra donut only offered one size # donuts. It was really affordable too. $ 40 for the # 10 donut. If you're just needing 1 # it's $ 25. The donut was good. Fluffy, I'd probably next time request lighter on the icing. The Birthday girl was really happy w our gift to her. Something she wanted too and glad i was able to pull thru. I'll definitely return here for my # cake donuts. It's a nice simple donut shop. Really clean and welcoming. Customer service was great as always. Tysm Judy.

MOCHI DONUTS! Dare I say it... out of all the mochi donuts I've tried around here, Sierra Donuts has the best ones in the OC. I came in on a Saturday morning and ordered a half dozen mochi donuts ($15) or $2.65 each, a dozen donut holes ($2.50), and a ham and cheese croissant ($4). Their donut holes and ham and cheese croissant were good, but nothing mind blowing. The real star of the show however were the mochi donuts - so perfectly soft, chewy and sweet! They offer 10 different flavors, but only had 5 available when I went. Out of the 5 flavors I tried, the dark chocolate mochi donut was my favorite, but they were all honestly so good, I don't think you could go wrong with any of them. The little chewy fried balls of goodness are so addicting, don't be surprised if you find yourself eating a half dozen in one sitting! I also really appreciated their friendly customer service which definitely made for an even better experience at Sierra Donuts. I'll definitely be back in hopes of trying more mochi donut flavors like their taro and matcha next time!

Dozen donuts. All are delicious but the chocolate glaze is so good!!!

Update to my review. Still my go to for mochi donuts cuz no place does a good chocolate mochi glaze and the dough here is supreme. As indicated in my past review, these outrank San Francisco's mochi donuts and everywhere else I've tried them up and down California. At the last minute, I decided I wanted a donut cake for my son's birthday but I was too late to customize and instead called at opening time, 4am and ordered a dozen mochi donuts to create one of those stacking cakes. As promised, the dozen mochi donuts were waiting for me when I arrived for pickup. I'd definitely recommend ordering anything you want ahead. The gentleman who picked up at opening time was very nice considering how early I called. I decorated it with a Happy Birthday sign from target and little decorations I had. My son loved it and everyone said the donuts were sooo good. The easiest cake I've ever "made"!

Stopped in on a Wednesday morning and was sad there weren't any filled croissants left. I picked out 7 donuts and paid $14. (Amazed that $2 a donut is the going rate.) Didn't grab anything too fancy (heard they have mochii donuts) Not sure I will come back anytime soon. By 830am the selection was very small and the prices are high.

The blueberry donuts tasted like a cake donut with blue berries mixed in. Not too overly sweet, a little bit harder than expected. They were small, but packed a lot. I felt heavy just after eating one compared to a normal donut. I wish I could try them when they were freshly made, but still a pretty solid donut!

After such a long wait, it was disappointing to have such a limited selection left. We were also told that our car was capped at 12 donuts, even though there were five people in the car. That limit didn't feel reasonable for a group our size, especially after waiting 90 minutes, and it would have been helpful to know about it before getting to the front. The donuts themselves were delicious and tasted very fresh, so the quality is definitely there. However, the extremely long wait, lack of available flavors, and unexpected ordering limit made the experience far less enjoyable than it should have been.

I'd always heard about Randy's Donuts, so while I was at the Anaheim Packing House for dinner, I…read morefinally decided to see what all the hype was about. I picked up a small assortment so I could get a good feel for what they offer. Before I even got to the donuts, I have to ask: why does the box have four holes in it? I understand it's probably meant to resemble donut holes, but it seems like an odd design choice. For donuts that aren't exactly cheap, I'd rather have a box that keeps them fresh than one with decorative cutouts. Now for the donuts: Chocolate Raised: The donut itself was surprisingly light, airy, and soft with a nice chew. The texture was exactly what I want from a raised donut. The problem was the chocolate icing. The first bite tasted good, but after a few seconds it left an almost burnt, slightly bitter aftertaste that became more noticeable with every bite. It completely overshadowed what was otherwise a really nice donut. Glazed: This was easily my favorite of the bunch. A good glazed donut is the benchmark for any donut shop, and Randy's did a respectable job. The glaze had a pleasant sweetness without being overwhelming, and the dough was soft and fresh. For some reason, though, it felt a little denser and heavier than the chocolate raised, even though the flavor was much better. Maple: The maple flavor itself was enjoyable and had a nice, rich sweetness without tasting artificial. The icing was noticeably thicker than I expected, almost like a layer of frosting instead of a thin glaze. While it tasted good, that extra thickness made the donut feel heavier and richer than I usually prefer. Blueberry Cake: This one just wasn't for me. The cake texture felt dense and dry compared to the raised donuts, and the blueberry flavor didn't really come through. Instead, it had an artificial sweetness that left me wanting to move on after just a couple of bites. Cronut: It's essentially a glazed croissant, and that's exactly what it tasted like. The outside had a nice crispness, the inside was flaky and buttery, and the glaze added just enough sweetness. It was enjoyable, but it also wasn't anything that really stood out or made me think, "I need to order this again." Overall, I'm glad I finally gave Randy's Donuts a try because it's such a well-known name, but I don't think it's a place I'll be returning to. The glazed donut was the standout, the dough on the raised donuts was genuinely good, but the flavors and overall experience just didn't live up to the reputation for me.

Now that I'm back in the area, I wanted to try this place out again and maybe my expectations were just too high compared to a different bagel place that I liked in another city. The parking lot is pretty small so you might have difficulty finding a good spot unless you come at an off time. When I got in, there was a long line and a group of people who were obviously regulars which I thought was a good sign. The menu was pretty easy to understand at first glance, you pick a croissant or a bagel and then what you want inside. The only down side is as of August 2026, they only have 1 kind of bagel, a plain bagel. I tried to order a bagel with no bacon and the woman taking my order seemed unfortunately confused by that? I was ordering a number of items and I just felt rushed because she would give me my total without asking if I wanted more. I kind of got the vibe that I was out of place and they forgot to give me one of my items. My bagel didn't have any flavor, the dough was overly gummy, and the eggs were barely scrambled so the yolk and whites were completely different textures. I felt like it was overly peppery and I had to add hot sauce to give it flavor. I probably won't come back here again except for maybe the sprinkled donuts, those were good!
