Great service, excellent communication and awesome technicians!! My 2016 Nissan Frontier 4x4 experienced a heater core failure and left me stranded. I reached to Car Max service department in Costa Mesa to see when I can take my vehicle in for service. Unfortunately they were no help at all, but thanks to my extended warranty, I found out that Sigma Auto Repair was the authorized repair shop in my area. I contacted AAA for a tow and before I knew it my vehicle was at Sigma. Within a few days my vehicle was completely fixed and back on the road. My family has been coming here for the longest time. I started coming here as soon as I got my car, and it has definitely had its fair share of issues. Jim is always extremely nice and genuinely cares about giving us what is needed for our car, not what will earn him an extra dollar. Instead of listing why this place is so good, I will explain 2 stories that I have had here. Firstly, there was one time I needed a bunch of repairs done to the car. Usually my parents reach out to Jim when there is an issue with our cars, but since this was my car I decided to reach out to him. He took my car in, fixed it (gave me the best possible deal on fixing the car), and that was it. Next time I needed help with a service display on my car, I called him. I did not assume much when I asked my mom for his phone number. When he picked up, he answered with my name, and said he had saved it from the last time I had taken my car in. When I brought it in (which needed a bunch of repairs) he calmed me down and was asking me questions about my family. His personability with his work attracts our family, since he is such a genuinely nice person. As a father himself, we often talk about each other family everytime its time to pick up the car. He charged me and I went on my way, having a completely fixed car. The last time I was at his shop was because the fender liner had fallen off my car. I didn't have any tools to remove the wheel nor cut off the liner, so I called Jim. Mind you, I had been stranded for like 12 hours in my car waiting for triple A (and for more pity points, it was on my birthday). I was dropped off, and I had called my mom to have her pick me up from the shop. Jim said it wouldn't take more than an hour, and I had assumed it would take like 45 minutes. 10 minutes after I had last saw him, he called me and told me the car was ready. I was shocked, and to my surprise the car was done. He didn't replace the liner, but I really wasn't all that concerned about getting new liner in my car. When I went to pay, he refused any payment, saying that all that was done was cutting the liner. He however did ask that if we wanted to pay him, we could tip the person who cut the liner off the car. I came back the next day with about $100, and he again stopped me, saying that it was too much, telling me to give him $40. Although I felt bad, he explained that it costed nothing for him to repair my car, and took no time in the shop. I could go on about my family's history with Jim, but in all honesty, it wouldn't do the shop justice. Hes a sweet man who wants to help people get their cars repaired at the cheapest price. Never once have we assumed he upcharged us, and he always will be honest about the labor costs. He will often give us options, whether we want OEM parts or if we want third-party. We will always go third-party, and he kindly agrees with us. Usually I will have my car back earlier than expected, and rarely does he need to keep the car longer (I have never personally experienced him needing the car for longer, but I believe he kept the car in the shop a bit longer for my mom when she got into an accident). 5 stars is not enough justice for this shop, my family and I are grateful for the shop and the work Jim does for us at such a great price. read more

A friend of mine referred me to this company to get my truck fixed the timing chains redone I paid them $3,300 to pull my motor out and redo timing chains less than a year and $15,000 miles I brought vehicle back to him with the same problem he refused to fix my truck said to drive it continue driving it it would be fine it's not the timing chain. The first honest garage I've found in Orange County! I brought my Prius here after being taken for a ride by another shop that I thought I trusted, and Jim and his team went above and beyond in every way: he not only identified the problem, but he discovered that it was covered under a Toyota service bulletin, and recommended that I take it to the dealership for a no-cost repair. The place I took it before wanted to charge me upwards of $2k to do the work themselves! Waking up to a damaged front end after parking on the street one night I called my insurance and scheduled an inspection to see what it would cost me to get my Prius back to its full glory. I have a 2006 Nissan Pathfinder with around 200,000 miles on it. I've had very good luck with the car-- never had to take it in or anything. Was pretty bummed when one morning it wouldn't start-- it had died on while I was driving the day before and that scared me so I parked it. Took it in to Jim and he was very helpful. He let me know what he thought was up and got back to me by the end of the day with what repairs would need to be done. He broke it down in a way that I could understand, which I appreciated because I know very little about cars. Had the car back to me the next day and showed me which parts he had replaced. He waived the diagnostic fee which I appreciated. He also let me use the car to go to the bank, which saved me an Uber fare. Would definitely come again if I need work done in the future.
