I tried out the black sesame latte. It was pretty tasty and decently strong coffee. It could have had an even stronger black sesame flavor.

Awesome coffee and awesome service! Definitely check them out if you get a chance. What a beautiful day at the Sat Farmers Market

This place makes some seriously good coffee! The best late I had while in town, actually. I ordered an iced cinnamon brown sugar late with oat mile. So yummm!

I couldn't find this stand. I walked inside and outside the ferry building, where is this located exactly?

We are at the Ferry Plaza Farmer’s Market on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8-2 directly in front of the main entrance of the Ferry Building, outside, and on Saturdays to the far south end of the building, again just outside of those doors.

Living in the…read moreneighborhood he recommended we meet at Andytown Coffee Roasters at 181 Fremont Street adjacent to the Saleforce Park. I took an Uber which dropped me in front of the correct building location, however, I had in minds eye remembering seeing a coffee shop in the Salesforce Park so I inadvertently went to that coffee shop. WRONG! After realizing my mistake, I texted my colleague and we were able to connect IRL on Andytown Coffee Roasters on the 7th floor. The shop is HUGE and since it took a few minutes to circle back my friend ordered me a medium coffee ahead of my arrival which was great given there was a long line by the time I arrived. The coffee was very nice and I appreciate the taste and warmth. After about 45 minutes we left the ACR shop and walked in the elevated Salesforce Park which is stunning urban designed. The only comment I would mention is the noise volume levels were loud given there were 20-30 people in line to order and talking. Not a big deal, we moved to two very comfortable sofas a few feet away or could have gone outside since there is many options inside and outside to enjoy the space. I took several photos of my visit and when I am back in the area will definitely go back and try their menu. Don't forget to leave time to causally stroll around the magnificent shaded garden 7 stories above the street! Enjoy!

I got invited here to shoot some content for them, and I'm very glad for that opportunity…read more Content aside, I did genuinely enjoy their drinks. The strawberry matcha was my favorite. They used a strawberry cream top instead of a puree, which I actually enjoyed. It added a nice creaminess to the drink, and the matcha was very smooth and strong. It worked well together. I also tried their double hojicha, and while I enjoyed how nutty and strong the hojicha was, I did find it a little bit grainy. I wish it was a little smoother like the matcha was. I usually don't drink/like coffee, but the guava cold brew sounded so interesting I couldn't resist. The fruity jasmine tea somehow paired so well with the coffee and made it a nice refreshing drink. I was also lucky enough to try the matcha crepe cake, which I believe they get from Lady M. It had really nice layers and was light, but unfortunately it was a little too sweet for me. Overall a very solid matcha/coffee option in SF. They have a beautiful interior too, perfect for catching up with friends. Servers were sweet as well!

It was my first time at Coffee Bodega and won't definitely be my last!…read more I was in the area for a meeting but wanted to grab a coffee and light breakfast before I went into the office. Coffee Bodega was just around the corner of my destination, and it was a 5 minute walk from the Embarcadero bus station where I made my stop. The cafe was located in a little alley way next to Tender Greens and an ice cream parlor. I was feeling the earthy vibe of the place. I could see how the place paid homage to South American cultures with their coffee and food (i.e. arepas, empanadas, and alfajores). As soon as I walked in I was greeted by the most welcoming barista, which honestly made my day. She went above and beyond with her friendliness, helpfulness, and overall hospitality. She knew that I wasn't a regular and kindly offered her recommendations of their salted maple latte and mushroom and cheese empanada. Both items did not disappointed. The salted maple latte hit the spot, but the empanada was particularly the showstopper. Can't wait to try their other empanadas next time.

Review: Coffee Bodega Overall Rating: 4/5 Stars…read moreExecutive Summary Coffee Bodega remains a standout for its prime location and exceptional beverage quality. While the food program was unavailable during this visit, the craftsmanship of the espresso-based drinks and the unique atmosphere continue to provide a high-value experience for professionals and locals alike. The Details * The Vibe: The "cool factor" here is undeniable. It's a well-situated spot that balances style with a great footprint, making it an ideal venue for a quick mobile office session or a high-level caffeine fix. * The Coffee: The cappuccino was the highlight of the visit--perfectly executed with excellent milk texture and a robust espresso profile. It's clear they prioritize bean quality and barista technique. * The Food: Note that food service was not available during this specific stop. If you're heading in primarily for a meal, it may be worth a quick check ahead, but the coffee more than carries the experience on its own. Final Verdict A sophisticated, reliable choice for those who appreciate a top-tier "cap" in a well-designed urban setting. Recommended for a high-quality coffee break.

While the storefront seems pretty welcoming on the outside, I could say otherwise about the customer service side of things. I was soon met not just with unwelcoming hospitality, but also, utter rudeness while ordering my coffee. I felt rushed, and when I asked about the pastries, all the one person that ordered it was: "this is what we have." I'm asking you to specify the pastries because... I GENUINELY don't know what they are? Like we're not experts at pastries compared to baristas that know their stuff -- let alone some random customer like me who doesn't know the name of EVERY pastry. Eventually, after that, I ordered the croissant and a cortado, and both tasted wonderful. The croissant was flaky and very buttery, and the cortado was a great combination to it as well. Ambiance isn't too bad -- there's small tables, but also, very spacious seating on the window side of the seating where there's a bar and more. I'll be back, but please treat your guests in a more courteous way, please -- it goes a long way.
