Very disappointed with my experience at this nail salon under the new ownership. I came in for a classic manicure, old polish removal, and the advertised neck massage with a warm towel. Instead of listening to what I wanted, the technician repeatedly pressured me to get acrylic and gel services even after I said no multiple times. ($35) The manicure itself felt rushed and incomplete. My cuticles were trimmed while the old polish was still on, lotion was applied for barely two minutes, and important parts of a proper classic manicure were skipped, including buffing, exfoliation, and the mask treatment I specifically asked for. It honestly felt like they were more focused on upselling than providing quality customer service. Unfortunately, I will not be returning. read more

I wanted to provide an updated review since I've been going here the past 2 years. Last year I stopped doing gel based or powder nail options and started going natural. I'm impressed with how well my nails look since I've been going regularly and getting a mani/pedi. I don't usually schedule an appt but I simply walk in after I've shopped at The Fresh Market. I rarely have a wait and each nail technician I've used has been exceptional with attention to the details. That is something you don't always get from nail salons. Don't forget to bring your nail kit each time. You will get this for $1 on your first trip. I always splurge and do some of the upgraded pedicures. I love them all. I'm extremely disappointed in the service I received here. I went to the salon yesterday to get a mani and pedi. I typically do gel pedicures and a sns manicure. The lady who serviced my nails yesterday rushed through the service, my nails were not shaped in the way I requested, the sns was not done properly etc. I went back to the salon today to get the issue resolved. When I went in there were two ladies working, neither of them wanted to correct the issue that I had. Eventually Mary, came over to do my nails and she was very unpleasant, rude, and rough. She didn't even fully take off the polish that was previously put on before adding new sns. She kept making slick comments which made me uncomfortable and ready to leave and she did not fix the shaping of my nails etc. I will not be returning in the future. If you're looking to throw away your hard earned money, this is the place for you! I went to this establishment for an acrylic fill in. The technician was ok. She cut my nails down too short, and it's probably because she horizontally "trimmed" my almond shaped nails. It was the breaking of the nails 2 days later that bothered me the most. I literally broke my THUMB nail putting my sneakers on. It was a matter of days before the others followed suite. But I have never gotten so many compliments or comments at all until I started having my nails and pedicures at Signature nails. I have acrylic finger nails and the regular pedicure. And I'm still in awe at how many compliments I get. Especially from strangers. Kevin does my nails. He's very conscientious, and quick which is nice. He's by up and about talking to everyone. I appreciate that he pays attention to detail. He suggests things that keep my nails healthy. But most important my nails come out perfect and as I said I never got so many compliments ever. Yesterday was my first time having a manicure and pedicure done here and I left 100% satisfied. I was hesitant to come due to the low reviews, however my experience was very pleasant. I was immediately greeted when I arrived and everyone was very friendly and welcoming. I was scheduled with Kim, however she had a family emergency and was not working but that wasn't an issue because another nail tech (didn't catch her name) provided my services. Years ago this place was great! Now it is a hit or miss depending on the staff that does your service. Loved Lisa but she is no longer the attentive kind person , life I guess! The last visit was for three people manicure pedicure for me...came home with dead skin charged $35 dolloars for a manicure when my hands were never soaked. All of our polish chipped in a couple of days. Staff dialogue over charges in their language, no explanations, but you know you were just ripped off! I don't know what has happened to this shop, four of us were regulars for pedicures , but no longer. Caution insists knowing your charges before they touch you! Don't expect consistency of service. Be ready for their moods to affect your beauty outcome. Forget tipping well like I do because it changes nothing. Bad service from unreliable people! Do yourself a favor, try a new salon where people are pleased to take your money and good service is their mission! Love this place! I finally decided to get 'new nails" and for a very reasonable price, I got a wonderful experience. Not only was the technical work great, but I also got a back and neck massage plus hand and arm massage. If that's their regular service, I'm impressed. I was greeted nicely and welcomed back (I had been there only once before). The situation was comfortable and I could watch TV if I wanted (good angle). The techs chatted with me and were careful to speak English when I was talking - I don't like it when nail techs revert to another language when I'm sitting there unless it's to clarify or explain something). They have a loyalty program which is great; I think they need a bigger online presence or check-in deals and perhaps I'll explain that if they don't know about it (it's what I do). The next day, I went back again for a pedicure with a friend and it was delightful as well - their "lowest" level pedicure was not rushed and didn't feel cheap. The chairs are new and have all the features and they help you with them (instead of doing it for you). They're open Sundays now, which helps me a lot. Highly recommended. I had the worst experience at this salon. I arrived for my appointment and Lisa was working on someone else. When I walked in I know she saw me, however, it took a while before she acknowledged me and told me she was busy. She finally started a pedicure soak with cold water. She appeared agitated when I asked for hot water. It still wasn't warm enough but I said nothing. As another reviewer stated, she did not use the pedicure tool to remove dead skin. She rushed through. She presumed, incorrectly, that I wanted a regular pedicure and proceeded to finish up. I actually wanted the more expensive treatment with hot wax and the hot towels. When I arrived home, there was a blister on my foot, just dry skin. Finally it was time for my S &S manicure. She did not remove all the residual from my last manicure, nor buff them down smoothly. When I looked I had bumpy finishes. When I. Entioned it, she put on white powder instead of pink and she didn't correct it by sanding it or buffing it. Needless to say, she kept adding more powder and some type of clear polish. They were so thick, there was a hump from too many coats. She then went to the back of the shop while I waited to pay. She never returned and I paid another person. I did not leave a tip and didn't want to pay. However, I did not want to be handcuffed or killed when the police arrived. This establishment should not deal with the public.They are rude, dismissive and racist. It was not d that when blacks entered they were not greeted but when others entered there were smiles and warm greetings. They were nice but very bad quality of work. Misshapen-nails. All different lengths. Tried to explain I wanted nail matched to my toes. Didn't! Had the redone by different tech. Shop was better. When I washed my hands after I got home and cleaned out the caked Ana from under my nails, I found that there were tiny little cuts on almost every finger. My daughter went here to get her nails done. The manager himself did her nails and messed them up so bad that he had to get another tech to TRY and fix what he had done. They look horrible and not only that he charged her full price as well as gave her curved nails which she did not request. He was rude and yelled at my daughter and told her they did not do refunds. I called and he was rude to me as well but finally agreed to fix her nails if she comes back. They begin with he was saying he would not fix them bc she has had them for 2 days but I I formed him as she is an adult, she works and had not had the time to come back yet. This place is literally right next to my work so it's perfect for me to pop in when I need to get my eye brows waxed. The inside of this place is well.....in one word luxurious. One might even think they've stepped back in time to a Roman bath house. Seriously, it has marble columns, marble floors, cushiony leather pedicure massage chairs, and soft ambient lighting. I usually just get my eye brows waxed and in fact haven't had the time or money to get a pedicure lately but when I do I will go here. The staff is so friendly and they never have a negative thing to say even if your eye brows look like they haven't been touched in 2 months. They take their time to make sure everything is perfect and are gracious enough to fix something if you don't like it. read more

Pros-Very clean, didn't smell like chemicals, the guy in the front was very nice, the ladies treating us were nice enough Cons-My daughter and I both went for pedis. It was an obvious issue because one lady had an appointment coming and we were walk ins. That's what that told me when I asked if everything was ok after observing their tense conversation. I told them I was happy to wait but they wanted to proceed. I didn't feel good about it already because I figured we would be rushed through. In less than 24 hours my daughters polish was coming off. Yes she's a kid (9) but if I'm paying $18 for a kids pedicure I would hope the polish stays on more than 24 hours. This wasn't our first rodeo. Me-my poor toes! She could not possibly get my nails any shorter. Ouch. And I came home with about a 30% pedicure, dry skin all on my feet still. They were not horrendous to begin with but it was a waste of money. She barely used the grater thing and there was hardly any skin on the towel afterwards. I felt like she was annoyed. I still left a nice tip for both ladies without even a thank you. I have to disagree with previous reviews. My daughter and I went to Mimi Nails (our favorite) and they were crazy busy and we couldn't wait so we went to Signature Nails since it was close by. We were the only ones there most of the time, not a good sign. The girls that did our pedis were nice enough but we were done in less than 30 minutes. Message was very short, my favorite part of a pedi and my heels were not smooth. We then had manicures in 20 minutes. Spent $80 in less than an hour for subpar service. I don't know how this place has the stars that it has. First and foremost, the manager there is a complete asshole and very hostile. I had called there just to confirm a price for toes, and acrylic take off due to job. He kept cutting me off on the phone and speaking over me whenever I talked. That should have been a red flag, but I continued going because I needed something simple done and where I go to regularly they stay pretty busy. I got there and was greeted by him saying "what do you need" I told him I spoken with him over the phone etc.. he sat me down at his table. I had already had my acrylic's cut down where my natural nail has grew out, I had already told him and he can see that for himself. He proceeded to cut even lower to the point half of the acrylic which I thought it just was at the time split in half and I felt the pain, when he was cutting he kept using the D-word and asked who did these nails so thick? I was in pain and he didn't ask if I was ok he just kept cutting, that process was done. Usually the people I go to file the acrylic down to the lowest for faster soak off but he just took the polish off and wrapped me that was about it. I got the polish pedicure, the lady was good but I am sensitive to touch and she was really rough on my legs, I also felt like I was getting a leg pedicure rather than a toe pedicure. She finished, ending came out great. Once my nail was completely soaked off, I discovered my real nail(s) was actually split in half. I approached him to let him know, he yells at me in front of everyone and says I told you to get something because your nail is so thin. You should have gotten SNS. When I start talking he walks away and goes to a client as if he doesn't hear anything I said. I asked for a discount, he said no. I literally almost cried because of how bad my nail is hurting and burning. Worst place ever. read more

This place has really gone down hill. This used to be the only place I would get a pedicure at, as well as my mom. Now I will not go back there at all. The pedicures are a waste of time and money. The pedicurists do not put in ANY effort AT ALL anymore. I decided to take my mom for a treat and we were very unexpectedly disappointed. The massage was wayyy too soft and didn't feel good or relaxing at all. It was more of a tickling of the leg. Then when they went to take dry skin off my feet, they did as little work as possible. I even did the paraffin wax and I left with my feet dryer than before and they were not soft like they usually are after a pedicure. I go for pedicures once every 2-3 weeks and was visiting my mom in town and this was a MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT. There are better places close to the area for a better pedicure. read more

My second visit to this salon, did not feel valued the first time but decided to give them another try. Sadly I was disappointed again this time. The managers both times were extremely rude, rushing you in, and then once you are committed to the service, rushing you out. My nails were left in terrible condition after a failed attempt to properly remove a gel manicure (a pretty basic service). Necessary skills were lacking in both manicure and pedicure services I received. After she was done, the woman who was doing my pedicure told me it would be a few minutes before the waxing could be done. I thought maybe someone else was going to do it because she started helping another person. After 15 minutes, I told her I couldn't wait any longer. I have had several pedicures that lasted around an hour and it was so relaxing and wonderful! I called to see how long the wait would be if 5 of us came in to get our nails done-3 manicures, I gel fill in and 1 sns. I got the sns after he raced through my daughter's gel polish manicure where he did not even put lotion on her hands or manicure her finger nails. He really did not even take the coat of nail polish off of her nails that was on when she came in!!! Her manicure was $20 and it was nothing more then a coat of polish. I then sat down for my sns nails and he took the existing coat off pretty well but when he started on the new sns he never put the clear coat on first and slapped 2coats of the colored powder all over my nails and cuticles. I had this done in Monday and it is Thursday and one of my nails is already chipped. It would have been much nicer if they had just been honest with us and said they could not accommodate us at the time. Instead we got messy nails and chipped sns which is a waste of money. That is what you end up with 3 days later when they race through doing your nails because they are trying to service too many people. I will never go back to this salon again read more

I been going to this place since last year. Loved the place!!! It was nice and comfy. Not to mention very relaxing!!! Alway had my pedicure and gel manicure done by Tuan. My most favorite manicurist of all time!!! He give great massages and speak English fluently. But, I recently went back and was told Tuan is not working so I decide to give the others a try. Their service is nothing compare to Tuan. Today, I went back in asking for Tuan. Now the issue is Tuan don't work here anymore, he moved!!! OMG! (no trust and honesty) Now I am on the search for a new manicurist. If any body know of any good manicurist please refer me or if you know where Tuan new work place is please let me know. I have been to this salon a dozen times in the last year. When I asked to apply my loyalty card today to get five dollars off today I was told - very rudely in front of other customers - that I could not get the discount because the required total number of visits were initialed on three different cards. I was told I had to keep coming back to fill in one card completely. This made no sense. The manager acted like I was trying to pull some kind of scam. I thought she would have been pleased to have a loyal customer in a new business. Begrudgingly, I was given the discount, but the interaction left a totally negative impression. When I went back later to pick up a package I had left, I wanted to clear the air. I said didn't understand why there had been such a problem earlier. Both the manager - who I had dealt with earlier - and the owner became completely irate. The owner actually screamed "Fuck You" at me.
