Photo opp outside the tasting room!
Lindsay L.

Walked away with some merch I have gotten compliments on - trendy and classy but still going to rep this vineyard and tasting room across Texas! We walked right in and were seated at a table immediately. So it's not a huge spot, but there are lots of outside tables. Plus, the patio and bar area is super cute, and the vibes are great here. It wasn't terribly scenic with a view over vineyards, but there is an adorable backdrop where we took group and couple photos. We each got the tasting ($25). The woman doing our tasting was knowledgable and quick to get us through our tasting without rushing us out. The wines were not overly sweet and the tasting was very balanced. The Viognier was good, the red blend was delicious as well. We didn't eat here, but the menu looked decent for small bites if someone wanted to. Definitely would come back and split a bottle here, the wine was great and the ambiance relaxed and fun.

Table for 4, please!

We started out our tour with the friendliest service this side of the Pecos! Amazing ambiance sitting beside the huge limestone fireplace on the porch, sipping Viognier... who knew it was the perfect breakfast wine! We had to force ourselves back on the shuttle to discover more Hill Country wines!

Peach sangria on a hot day!

Great service right off the bat! We were greeted by the co-owner giving samples of cold peach sangria! Sooo good we got a glass. Super cute inside and kind people. Great service! Would definitely go bask but once it's fall weather. I wanted to sit outside but it was 100° out! Late august is still too hot!! October would probably be better

Had an amazing experience as one of our winery tour stops! Colin was so friendly and welcoming! He was full of fun facts and jokes. Beautiful patio.

Nicest people and best venue. They have a little shop with cute T-Shirts and beautiful jewelry! I love the Malvasia Bianca and the other tasting are fantastic. Come with your friends and enjoy a tasting and live music on the back patio,

The rose was the best rose I've ever had. Not too dry and not too sweet. The service was also amazing and we definitely recommend!

First time at Vaudeville. We were walking by and saw that the daily special was Buttermilk Fried…read moreChicken, we are always looking for good fried bone-in fried chicken, so we went downstairs to give it a try. Vibe is euro-bistro and the staff is perfectly attentive. Prices are high, but honestly aligned to the quality of the food, at least the dishes we had were worth the prices. Food: Buttermilk Fried Chicken, with Onion/Bacon flash fried collard greens, whipped potatoes and house gravy and Jalapeno Cornbread for $32 Reuben on Marble Rye for $24 16oz Stella Artois for $10 We agreed that the fried chicken (5/5) was the best we could remember having. Whipped potatoes (5/5) were light, fluffy and perfect taste/texture. The gravy was like brown butter (5/5). The collard greens (5/5) were flash fried and if you've never had them like this, it's like eating collard green potato chips. Cornbread (3/4) was a bit too delicate and sweet for our taste. You couldn't pick it up without it falling apart. The Ruben (3/5). My wife loves a good Ruben sandwich. This one had the makings of a good one, but they use a Thousand Island sauce (too much of it) on the sandwich, and it hides the flavor of the meat. Next time we would ask for the sandwich without the TI sauce, see if that improves the rating. The sandwich came with house made potato chips (5/5), a small house salad with vinaigrette (5/5) and a large, pickled cucumber. I know, that's a pickle, but these are cucumbers that have gone maybe a third of the way through the process, so the cucumber taste is really prevalent. Lastly, we had the Creme Brulé (3/5) for dessert. It was nice, but the custard was coffee and caramel flavored, and we prefer the standard custard look and flavor. The caramel should come from the top layer, not the custard. The top layer was a bit too thick as well. We liked it, just didn't love it. Overall, quality food, service and vibe with prices that are aligned to more special occasions than everyday eating out. We'll be back to try the Monday Crawfish Etoufee and the Tuesday Duck Confit daily specials...look too good to pass up.

The staff is knowledgeable and they do a great job walking you through the wines and making recommendations based on what you like. We had the Zinfandel and the Sauvignon Blanc--both were excellent. The Zinfandel was bold and smooth, and the Sauvignon Blanc was crisp and refreshing. Honestly, they never miss here. This place nails the Fredericksburg wine country vibe. Relaxed, clean, and just the right balance of upscale and comfortable. It's easy to settle in and lose track of time.
