Got my eyebrows done here, the lady burned my eyelid with the wax ... blamed it on my skin being sensitive.

I've gotten my nails done here for about 10 years with my mother, sister and best friend, and the work has been declining rapidly! The last time I went in I paid $60 for my sister and I to each get a full set of pointy acrylics. Good deal? Maybe if they were done well! They applied the acrylic incredibly thin and didn't even extend it to the cuticle front. I get it, you want me to return in a week for a fill so I can pay more money, but unfortunately 2 of the nails broke before the week was even up! I had a big event that weekend, so I had to go to another salon and pay another $35 to repair the broken nails, reshape them properly because the shape was horrendous and get a fill. Thanks for nothing. Needless to say, you have 4 less customers. read more

Yeah I thought this was going to be a good place but when the lady was filing my nails, two of my nails were shaped crooked and the other ones looked like a have a bump on them then they weren't even polished properly, so when it was time for them to dry I was fed up and didn't care how they looked and put on my shoes even tho they weren't dried and left, you get what you pay for read more

I have been here a few times for convince but I would rather drive the extra mile then feel like I'm being talked about in their language. I got a pedi and the lady did not scrub my feel so I said, let's do a deeper pedi scrub and the lady said, next time. I said I'll pay, she said no. I told her that I'm not satisfied.. she talked in their language and I picked up on a couple words. This place is never busy.. wonder why! read more

I am very happy with this place! I always get gels and when I get them here they last so long. This time I got my Christmas gels done and I am so happy with how they turned out. Heidi did exactly what I asked for and she actually used the picture I showed her for inspiration. I like the prices and the results here and I will definitely keep coming back! read more

I just love this place...just love it. Jenny and her gals are great, nice clean place, friendly gals and a good pedi/mani! Jenny does great waxing as well, wouldn't let anyone else do my brows after I went to her. Got a nice mani/ pedi on Sat and it still looks new! So annoyed, I've been here before and choose not to come often... It's a nice place if you like SIMPLE plain nails, prices are decent. Today was horrible I went in with my own nail polish colors and asked for a simple gradient design and even showed the girl how to do it she told me she couldn't do it, I was ok with that.. I then asked for a different design she said she couldn't do that either I said ok just do marble she then came up with some funky triangle design that was supposed to be cheetah print and in neon pink when I asked for purple when I said I don't like them they still continued to do as they pleased... I've tried a lot of places in this area and so far this is the only one I like that offers good service and good prices. I took away one star because when it's busy they sometimes rush and the quality can go down. But overall I've only had good service from here. read more

I have been a Silky Nails customer for a number of years now and absolutely love the salon and the girls that work there. During most of this time as their customer, I have had acrylic nails but just recently switched to gel nails. I am happy to say that I have never once had a problem with my nails with either treatment. I also get pedicures here on a frequent basis. The salon is always clean and they make improvements on an ongoing basis. Jenny, the owner, is super and takes the best care of me. Tracy does my pedicures and makes me feel so relaxed with her gentle massages. Keep up the good work ladies. You do a fabulous job! Okay, let me start off by saying, this isn't robert making the review. lol, it's actually his wife... It was my birthday about three weeks ago and my mother in law and sis in law gave me a gift certificate to go get my nails done here. I found it very convinient since this nail salon is across the street from my house. I went in and asked for a gel manicure. I'm not sure if the ladies working there understood me or not, but they kept bouncing me from lady to lady.. I guess each lady there does their own thing.. either manicure, pedicure, or acrylic and aren't specialized in all areas.. anyway, this wouldn't of been the problem if they were nice about it, but they were giving me an attitude and looking at me like I didn't know wth I wanted... um, i think i know what a gel manicure is.. do you?! anyway, after like 10 minutes of them bickering in their language as to who was going to take care of me, this witch of a lady started doing my manicure. OMG! She was the rudest person ever!! She kept pulling my fingers and not being gentle.. hurting me and also bickering so loud and with this pissed off face. I know she was talking about me because she went on and on for like an hour and everyone else just stayed quiet. finally, thirty five dollars later (extremely pricey for a red manicure) I was done. I went to the cashier and the lady who did my nails charged me and after I gave her her tip (which I shouldnt of), she just walked away. No thank you, no nothing. I was seriously standing there for like 5 minutes not knowing if I was good to leave or not until she saw me and raised her eyebrows in a "yes, you need something else?". Wtvr, I just left. This place was okay! I was in the area and needed to get my nails done so I just went in. Got a gel manicure and my manicurist was nice just wish she had more patience when it came to me choosing my color. Like this color is going to be on my nails for 2-3 weeks let me make sure I like it first. Anyways she was pretty good at polishing not the best. My friend got a pedicure and how in the world it finished 25 min before my gel manicure is just straight up confusing to me. This place is decent. Even though you have an appointment, you may have to wait a while. I've gotten my eye brows waxed here and a pedicure. The eye brow waxing is ok, they do it pretty fast and they come out decent. The pedicure was pretty good, the color on my toes lasted for weeks. Went for a fill...she had to start again because she made a mistake, poop happens...I get that, but what I did'nt like is that they pull her off and someone else paints my nails, very quickly then left my nails shoddy looking, lumpy and my fingers were full of nail powder, never again. nice looking place though. read more

Just passed my drivers permit test and stop by this little salon, really good price on mani pedi, I had loads of silver glitter nail polish on my toes and she did an amazing job getting it off ALL OF IT OFF!!! read more

Since one star is the lowest .....here it is. While standing around waiting to find out how much I owed - I asked another woman who seemed to be in the conversation about my bill. She snapped at me and said she didn't know how much because she didn't do my nails (which was a half-ass job). Finally got an answer from someone, paid cash + tip, and then announced to everyone that they need to take care of the roaches running around in the bathroom! Won't be back. read more

My mother used to go to this nail salon all the time since it's around the corner from her house. So all through out my teenage years and up until now, I've only gone to silky nails... after my last experience I don't think I'll ever go back. A few experiences before that also influenced this decision. I was not happy at all with this last job. I asked for coffin shaped nails and I was charged for it but I got far from coffin shaped. Some of the nails aren't even the same size as the rest. I told her I didn't like the way one nail looked and she got upset...One of my acrylics came out really thick .. it's not even with the bottom of the nail. They used to have 2 ladies who were awesome... they are no longer there.. so I don't think it's worth going to anymore. Such a disappointment and waste of money. read more

I never had any problems here. Jenny is really nice and her staff is also nice. I get my eyebrows done and sometimes pedicure and manicure. Shop is clean and workers are careful when doing pedicure. I have gone with a group of 7 with appt and did not have to wait long. read more

Since moving into the area, I have tried 2 other salons for my acrylic nails, both of which did not work out. Each one would have me waiting a half hour past my appointed time to do my nails and the nails would break - not good. Jenny is excellent, efficient, my nails last and she sees me within 10 mins of my appointment time. The salon is very aesthetic, which I like. I recommend this nail salon! read more
