Nice selection of stores, not many of the stores i went in had outlet prices. The choices of places to eat was pretty good. My little girl really liked the playground they had which was really nice and laid out well very safe with the padded floor. Every time we go to destin we visit the sands on our way out. read more

This is a very nice premium outlet mall right across the street from the beach in Destin. There's a Starbucks you can drive through on your way in too. We shopped in gap and stocked up on the regular gappy things, and L'Occitaine and that was my first experience in a L'Occitaine shop. I must say I felt like a princess. I had wanted the cherry blossom set from them for years and that was the day I received it. Love it to pieces. Especially the hand cream. read more

Seriously this place is the best baby sitting service for in-laws. I simply drop my mother in law off around lunch and scoop her back up at the end of the day. Very easy parking and plenty of public restrooms and restaurants. In all seriousness, the place does offer great deals on almost anything in the world you could imagine. I went to pacsun for a deal buy 1 get 1 half off and when I came back from asking them to hold it, they rung up my order without the shirt I had. Not only did she not ring me up for the shirt I asked for, but she moved at the pace of a sloth. I live an hour away and I noticed when I came home and I'm not able to come back. The product I wanted was not available online and now I can't use it for my deal. HORRIBLE customer service read more

I love Dooney and Bourke and was so excited to see they had Breast Cancer awareness key chains so I went in to purchase one because I saw it on display in the window. I was told they could not sell it to me because it was a display and they did not receive any more. I was very disappointed so I contacted customer service and was told that I could call around to other stores, no offer to help me. This experience has really been a great disappointment for me to the point I think the last Dooney and Bourke purchase I made will be the last. Customer satisfaction did not appear to mean anything to them. For those who continue to shop with Dooney‍ (I don't know why you would), I recommend you shop elsewhere (Coach and Michael Kors not too far away... just saying). read more

We stopped by here twice on our trip. The first time we went by it was around 7 at night, and it was the perfect time to go. Another day we came around lunch time. It was a sunny day, so crowds were not bad (all at the beach!). As the afternoon went on, it got a bit more crowded. I have been to the outlets on a rainy day where you are shoulder to shoulder. If you're willing to give up a sunny beach day, I would say that is the time to go! read more

Had to get started on Christmas shopping for myself sooner :-). I don't know why this is categorized as "women's clothing" outlet because there are lots of men's clothing stores as well. They have very good high end stores at discount prices. One of the features that I appreciated at a few of the stores is that if they didn't have my size in the store, they called and ordered it at the discount rate and will have it shipped to me. The next time I am in town I plan to spend at least a day here - love the name brand deals. read more

The stores are a little dated but there are many stores here that cater to everyone in the family. There are plenty of low end, mid range, and high end stores for people of every economic background. There are many restaurants nearby to take a break from shopping. They even have a playground if the kids need to run around a little bit. read more

I normally shop here when I am in Destin. It is a nice premium shopping outlet with a mixture of popular shops. During the holidays, you can expect to fine deals like an extra percentage off of clearance or your total purchase. It is normally busy and congested during those times. However, I can't complain when I feel like a winner saving and finding bargain deals. read more

The usual outlet shopping mall, like they have in other areas of the country. The prices are generally still too high, coming from someone who does not have to have name brand clothing. We made the mistake of going on a rainy day... when all other Destin vacationers also went. The crowd was horrible. Lines out the door for the bathroom, Mrs Fields ran out of cookies after the line that snaked outside, very few places to eat (go after lunch), parking was tough. We parked at Star Bucks after hunting someone down for their spot. The drive took 4x/long as it should to get there. No one was on the beach, they were all heading to that shopping center! The best part of this shopping day was popping down to 98 Scenic Route, to try and avoid some traffic. The view was beautiful along with many beautiful homes and beach cottages. I wish we would have done something else on a rainy day. read more

If you're going to shop here, just do your research about pricing (unless you don't care, ha!) I can usually find whatever I'm looking for here but I'm cautious to know the retail price since often the outlet "discount" price is the same as the retail price. But when there's a deal, they're often really good! Especially Kate Spade, the Loft, J. Crew, and some others. read more

You won't find many bargains here. Sure the stores have 25-50% off, but since most of the prices are so inflated, you're not getting any deals. But if you don't mind that, it's okay for killing a few hours when you're needing a shopping fix. One of my favorite outlets to shop at! The selection of stores throughout keeps you interested and the staff at most are nice. It is always really clean at this outlet and I love how the walk ways are covered especially with the hot summer days. Despite having a Starbucks nearby I wish they had a lot of food options in the area versus what they have now. Compared to other outlets I have been to, Silver Sands has your basic selection of stores, like: Nike, Gap, Harry & David, Michael Kors, Bose, Perfumania, Nautica, Tommy Hilfiger. However, this is a good sized outlet so there are a lot more stores than some other outlets. And there are a few unique gems like Saks Fifth Avenue's Off 5th. Mall layout is simple and easy to follow and parking is easy and plentiful. My only issue is the lack of places to eat within the mall itself. Obviously you can venture outside of the outlet but who has time to do that once you are in your shopping zone/flow? As a side note, the flowers climbing up, down, and around all the pillars are very pretty and fragrant! Lots of security around this mall making it seem very safe. Mall is fairly clean for the most part. This was a good vacation "activity" for us on a chilly and rainy afternoon. read more

Huge ass place with stores running the whole gamut of quality. They've got some designer type stores, in the genre of Dulce and Gabana sort. There's a few eateries scattered throughout the area, but nothing substantial. It gets utterly ridiculously busy on the road running next to the outlet center and because it's so vast, you constantly need to repark your car as you transition from store to store rather then walk the mile or more from end to end. read more

Since I'm a guy, I'm sure that this review will fall on deaf ears :) The outlet mall is somewhat of a mystery to me. Are the prices really cheaper or are they just marked down to the price they really should be? Are the prices dependent on location? I found that in FLA you could practically steal winter coats and cold weather clothing, but the warm weather stuff was no different in price of major stores. I'm not saying there are not deals (as my experience only included Under Armor, Nike, Columbia, and some sort of watch store), but I guess you have to be much more of a consumer than me to get a good deal! Great location and accessibility from the main drag in Destin. Also, a good place to go on rainy days. read more

The Silver Sands Outlets Shopping Center is a great place to find designer brand merchandise at very low prices. They also have a very wide selection of clothing brands, so you can pretty find most famous designer brands at this shopping complex. This place can get a little crowded during the peak hours/seasons, so be prepared to scurry around for a parking space. Definately worth a visit! read more
