I want to join the chorus of raves for the kind and able, Simon. After I locked myself out in my pajamas, it was a real relief to see him arrive within 30 minutes of my call (on a Sunday). While getting in the back door, he noticed that the wooden door had sagged and was sticking/scraping on the floor. He went to his car, brought out saw, took the door off and sliced off the scraping part. The price he charged for both services was quite reasonable. We love Simon! Some nights everything seems to go wrong... This night the garbage disposal was on the fritz and the deadbolt threatened to lock us out yet again. It had been a more than irritating problem lately, but with the work week as hectic as it is and the weekend completely booked, it seemed like there was never enough time to get it looked at. For any other locksmith, this would have been an ample opportunity to tack on extra charges and over time, and mis-quote a price to trick us into a deal. Not Simon. After a little research on Yelp, it seemed that he was the highlight of the locksmith section for Santa Monica/LA area. We called and he came, just like that. 8:30 on a Tuesday night. What a guy! OMG! Simon is the sweetest guy! I needed my locks changing this morning after a security breach. I called him at 1.30pm. He said that he could come by in a couple of hours. 1 hour and 40 mins later he called to say that he was on his way and would be a few minutes. When he arrived he had such a sweet manor, i felt totally safe and secure. It can sometimes be daunting for us women on our own when a stranger comes to the house, but Simon made me feel completely at ease. I had 3 locks that needed changing, and he changed them all perfectly. He completed the job within about 20 minutes and then had me do a full walkthrough to check that all the locks and keys were working and he was on his way.
