Since there are no recent reviews... just used this service right now on a Sunday afternoon for a simple residential lockout. Called and was told that the technician would have to quote onsite... I received a callback from the contractor in 7 minutes and was given an ETA of 15 minutes. He got here in 30 minutes and priced it at $350 without tip. The cylinder of my door came apart and I called sunrise to help me out. I sent pictures before they left, and they said they could fix my lock. When He arrived he said the lock was unfixable and needed to be replaced. He wanted to charge me $120 for just the lock ($220 W/ Labor), without even looking up what lock it was. I said that seemed suspicious and wasnt ready to pay that much. He still asked for the $40 service fee even though I had sent him photos before. I ended up fixing the lock myself in an hour, so the locksmith they sent out was obviously just trying to rip me off. All that happened was the plug fell out the cylinder, but he wanted to charge me cash for a new lock. I normally use Industrial Lock and Security (in El Segundo) who i suggest if you're looking for a good price, great customer service, and knowledgable lock smiths. By the way, this is my first review. Just can't believe he wanted $220 for that. read more

Sunrise Locksmith is the best. They came to my rescue when I got locked out of my car on a Friday rush hour. I lost my wallet, home keys with my phone and everything else including car keys, was one bad thing after another. I was super stressed out. Luckily I found someone who helped me make some phone calls and after calling a friend he referred them to me. Honestly I was very upset and anxious, and the lady on the phone who took my call was so understanding and friendly, she calmed me down and assured me that they would come soon and get me into my car and make me a replacement key, etc. Needless to say they came and in no time at all (a few minutes) my car was unlocked and I also got two sets of keys made and I was on my way. Wow!! I locked myself out on my way to a photo shoot. 4 bags of gear and no keys. I'd left them in my other pants. I was screwed. I panicked and yelled and climbed up to the deck to find the slider locked, too. Then I panicked some more. And then I got on Yelp! and looked for locksmiths. i used sunrise locksmith in los angeles when i was visiting my mom. i was in a rush when i arrived and i didnt leave until maybe 5pm. i didnt realize that i left my keys in my car!! i was in a rush and i was already frustrated. I found sunrise locksmith on yelp and they came right away i wasnt waiting for more than 20 mins. they arrived at my location and even offered me to wait in their car while he got my car open, which was refreshing since i was waiting outside in the sun. i only sat down for about 10 mins and he got it open. I called about being unable to unlock the front door to my house because the lock was jammed. He arrived within 20 minutes as promised. He looked at my door, called his boss, told me to call another locksmith, and then charged me $20. You might want to call another locksmith if you're having problems unlocking your front door. read more
