You're given a receipt that you take to the cashier past all the pastries and desserts. If you choose the iced chai latte, they make it as you're paying. All food came out extremely quickly (almost too quickly if there's such a thing). All looked pleasing to the eye, and we began to enjoy. So what with the 1 star?...because when my wife took her first bite of the sunny side up egg, she said it was completely cold. After taking a few sips of her latte, she casually went inside to exchange the egg for a warm one (not a big deal), but after speaking with the manager, he insisted they do not serve cold food and that it was her fault. Seriously?...this is an egg! Just replace it with a new egg. The manager took a very pleasant morning and turned it into a poor review of this restaurant. Are we really to the point where the customer is not even right about the food they're served? It's not like we were returning an entire breakfast! What is happening to this society, when it's more gratifying for a restaurant manager to turn away a customer over an egg vs just making the situation right? Especially after leaving a 20% gratuity just for them dropping off food at our table (as it's a place where you stand in line to place your order).
