Unfortunately I live super far so it's taken a while to come here but we had a Side Splitters show so we stopped in beforehand for dinner around 6pm. It wasn't too busy (but it picked way up!) and food came quickly. We got bun Bo and I think it was Phnom Penh style mi or something. Tasted like mi/hu tieu. It was really good. Lots of shrimp and quail eggs. Broth was clear and yummy. Bun Bo was good! I love the medium thick noodles. Definitely satisfying. They played I think classical/instrumental covers which I loved and allowed us to talk without yelling at the table. Service was great. Fast and nice servers! Checked on us a lot.

We get Pho to go about 3-4x a month. Always perfect. We were in South Tampa not too long ago and got Pho from another place. It was good but not as good.

Stopped by here today on a Sunday afternoon. The Yelp reviews were decent and it's close to our house so we decided to try it. We started with fresh rolls and crab rangoon. Both were delivered quickly and were fresh. For taste I would give them a 4 . I like more basil in my fresh rolls and real crab in the crab Rangoon. For the main course we both got vermicelli noodle dishes. I had grilled beef. The meal was reasonably good and the service was My only complaint was that it was just ok . There are several places around here that are much better for flavor and price. I may return in a pinch but I will go elsewhere for great flavor.

This has been the best pho place in Florida that I've been to so far. Florida's water has a muggy aftertaste and often times the tap water AND pho broth has that smell. But here the pho tasted delicious and aromatic. It's very quick to come out. The ambiance inside the restaurant is cute especially in the evening it gives a romantic vibe. There isn't much on the table but you can ask for chili sauce and other add ons and the workers are very sweet and bring it to you with no problem. The only thing that I didn't really like was the meat had a little bit of a smell/after taste to it. But the broth was the star of the dish. Overall it was a pleasant experience and will most likely be coming back.

We came here for lunch and were immediately greeted and seated at a booth. We got the spring rolls (soft) and the crab Rangoon to start our meal. Both were very tasty. I wish there had been a little more basil in the spring rolls. I then got the sautéed beef and onion vermicelli bowl. It was tasty and there was a good amount of beef in it. There is nothing I can point to that was bad about the meal, I have just had slightly better versions at other restaurants. The staff was very attentive and made sure our drinks were filled and we were happy with the meal.

Doesn't seem like a lot of meat for $15. Hope I get full off of this I'm starving

Always a good pick to grab something yummy and healthy. Hubby's likes the grilled porkchop meal and I love a yummy bowl of pho special. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu and the service is always nice

The Basics: Simply Pho is located in Carrollwood off of Dale Mabry. The food tastes fresh and the service was good. The restaurant is nice inside and there is plenty of room, so a wait is unlikely. Things I like: I enjoyed everything I ordered. The Vegetable Pho (I got it with beef broth) was very good and I particularly enjoyed the Vegetarian Spring Rolls. Things I didn't like: I enjoyed all items I had, but I do believe the Pho at Saigon Bay in Temple Terrace is more flavorful and I prefer it. Overall, a good spot for Vietnamese food in the Carrollwood area.

Fresh and tasty food, friendly staff. Clean and cozy. Good price. we will definitely come back Thanks guys

Stellar, will be back for sure! Wife and I shared the XL pho bowl which was perfect and large enough to share Thai tea on delightful and only $4 which is cheaper than other places around town Service was excellent and location had great vibes. Not sure what else you can ask for

I've worked in Elmhurst Queens New York for over 40 years. Many don't know that Elmhurst is one of New York's three chinatowns. That being the original in Manhattan and the other in Flushing. I'm mentioning that to give my bona fides as an asian food connoisseur. I've eaten vietnamese food over a hundred times. I at at Simply Pho the other night and I have to say that the food was some of the best I've ever had. I noticed that they had duck soup. Don't always see this in a vietnamese restaurant so I tried it. Spot on. Tender and tasty duck. The broth and noodles hit the mark. We started with fried dumplings and spring rolls. Solid My friend had a chicken lo mein type of dish. I did not try it, but it looked good. We also had fried rice, just because. Very good. Service was excellent. The restaurant and decor was warm and charming. I will be back next time I am in town.

Having moved down from the DMV and tasting many delicious authentic pho, it's been hard to find that flavor down here until this place. Great service, authentic flavors, and one of the best pho I've ever had.

This is my go to spot for pho in the Carrollwood area! The warm pho will lift up your soul! The egg rolls here are one of our favorite too. It is not too greasy like others we have tried, it's crunchy, and the inside is filled with deliciousness. We tried the house salad for the first time and we were pleasantly surprised of how perfect it was! It is slightly spicy, but great nonetheless. The service is great, all the servers are kind and the ambiance is perfect because it is a family environment so you will see all the locals! Our family favorite!

I've been to several Simply Pho's around the country and have enjoyed them all. This location however, is not my favorite. I love pho and having the right ingredients is a major part to the unique flavor that the Vietnamese noodle soup offers. Chili oil and fish sauce play a vital role in completing a desired taste I have learned to love. Cleanliness of the broth is also huge, without good broth it's hard to enjoy and really taste the authenticity of the soup. I found while eating the pho here the broth seemed to get cloudy and thick. Which to say it wasn't bad I still enjoyed it although just not as much as other places. Their fried egg rolls were really good and the service was fantastic. I would still recommend eating here because the noodles and the portions were on point. Most of all the service is what stood out.

?What are the best non-meat dishes? Seafood is also okay.

For appetisers their regular spring roll has shrimp if your ok with that, I haven't tried the vegetarian one but seems almost identical w/o shrimp. While I always get the beef, I have friends who love the Vegetable Pho.

Does anyone know if Simply Pho has Gluten Free options? If so, what items specifically can be made Gluten Free?

Yes.. the pho is gluten free and several dishes made with rice or rice noodle. Double check the sauces. Anything marinaded or cooked in Kikkoman soy sauce will have wheat.

Don't sleep on this restaurant just because it's at the Hard Rock Casino - Jubao Palace Noodle Bar…read moreslaps so good, it will make you "hit" on a hard 20. After being here a few times, Jubao Noodle Bar is where it's at and truthfully do fine by itself without the casino. So at this point, you should already know that Jubao Noodle Bar is located within the Seminole Hard Rock Casino & Hotel - Tampa. However, it should be recognized that navigating the casino floor does get frustrating. The easiest point of reference is to first understand that the base casino floor is essentially separated into two parts (Part one is where the curved escalators and hotel towers are at and part 2 is the larger part, containing the Hard Rock Cafe and the majority of the table games). Jubao Palace Noodle Bar is located right after the point where the hall from part one connects to part 2. Clear as mud right? Now that you've successfully navigated here, it should be noted that the line and wait can get ridiculous. Not sure if there are specific times when it gets super busy, but it seems like it doesn't die down after lunch hours hit. The small size and amount of tables doesn't necessarily accommodate to the traffic. Be prepared to wait. Speaking of tables, there are several regular tables that seat up to 4 patrons, however the majority of the seating are high tops and bar seating. Don't be alarmed if you get paired at the high tops with other random patrons. The menu itself is very simple, but I can assure you that you can't really go wrong with any of the choices. My "go-to's" are usually the roast duck noodle soup (with egg noodles) and any of the fried rice (crab is the best though). They do offer snow pea leaves which is a Cantonese cuisine classic. It's a great restaurant that is overshadowed by the venue that it's located in.

My latest birthday he picked Hales Blackbrick as he knew I never had dim sum before so thought a nice dinner with higher end dim sum would be just the trick. Walking into the place was a little crazy for me because I had been to that location when it was previously owned by others and I could still see some of the same things from before, though I gotta say, for turning it into a high end restaurant, some of the things they left should have been removed to fit the setting and price point. We started out with their family tradition egg rolls that is over 100 years old. We did the dim sum tower as we figured that would be the best way to try multiple styles and then we ordered the fried rice, which Ben knowing me knew I'd rather have it with the lobster option BUT I actually was fine without it because that would mean the fried rice would have been $50.00, but since it was my birthday, he ordered it anyway. Now, since I had not had dim sum before I am not sure if it was just theirs or if all are like this but ours were very watery when we would bite into them. I basically held up a small plate under my chin so that I didn't get any juice on my face or clothes. Didn't seem right to me and even Ben mentioned it and I know he has had them a few times. Also, out of the 3 different styles we got, it was difficult to make out which one was which as they were pretty bland. The rice was good but the small meat of the lobster tail was not worth the extra costs they charged for it and as I thought, the plain rice would have been fine with me. We checked out a bunch of different restaurants, but they were all booked up. So, we ended up booking Wagamama for our dinner on Sunday night. After finding roadside parking near the restaurant, we checked in at the register and were shown to our table. Our server greeted us and provided us with menus. Following a discussion among ourselves and with our server, we began our order with a lychee martini and a coconut drift for drinks. For appetizers, we selected the Bang Bang Cauliflower, which our server highlighted as a very popular option, along with chicken pot stickers. For our main courses, we ordered the chicken pad Thai, Karage Chicken Strips for our toddler and the chicken firecracker dishes. Our drinks arrived first: a Lychee Martini and a Coconut Drift. The Lychee Martini contained a significant amount of vodka, so much that my spouse could only manage two sips. The Coconut Drift was better, but it still had an excessive amount of sugar. We got our Bang Bang Cauliflower appetizer. However, upon tasting it, we found it wasn't cooked properly. It tasted like they simply coated the cauliflower with sauce without properly cooking it. We were disappointed to have to return it. Following that, our chicken pot stickers arrived. The chicken pot stickers were just okay, without anything particularly noteworthy about them. They weren't even properly cooked around the edges. Both appetizers we ordered turned out to be disappointing. Our dinner arrived and included Pad Thai and Chicken Firecracker. Both dishes were just alright; they could have been better. Compared to how other reviews described them, they didn't live up to the expectations set by those reviews. We couldn't get the Chicken Karage Strips we wanted for dinner. We ended up having to comp the whole thing because even though the restaurant wasn't that full (only about 70-75% empty), we had to wait a super long time for the food to be ready. Our visit to Wagamama was so disappointing that we may not return. We were unhappy with the food, the service, and the atmosphere.
