I maybe late on this but they have changed packaging. Now you get real pizza box I have always loved their pizza. We ordered buffalo pizza if you like little slice than you would definitely love it. We tried their Alfredo chicken and it did not disappoint. I was reluctant to order as I have always had pizza with red sauce . Not anymore. Their service is good we had them delivered. The only thing I hate is delivery charge of $4.00. I don't think I will order delivery . Most of the days I do order delivery for food. These people will miss out. I wish it was better. But hey I love their .

I haven't been to Singas in years, but I convinced my wife to come today because she heard me hype it up a few times. Good decision. Food: I mean, it's one of the better personal pizzas, if not the best, you can get in the area. Looking like a bar pie, it is deceivingly tasty with a good balance of sauce and cheese. Service: good counter service (at least when I have gone). A little slow at times, but it's because it's a nice, relaxed environment. Aesthetic: this needs a little more work. Wobbly, wonky tables and some chips here and there could really polish this place off.

I'm trying to describe how good it is it is a strong monkey so it's preety good

The fries were not that good while the pizza was good the service was awesome it took 35 minutes for one pizza and fries!

In the words of Larry David, Singas Famous Pizza is prett-ay good. Yup, pretty good. Is it exceptional or the best I've had? No. I'm a bit of a pizza snob and my palate lies with high quality cheese, ingredients and overall flavor of said pizza. From what I know, Singas is popular within the Indian community My friend, who is Indian, always bragged about how good Singas is and so I had the opportunity to experience it earlier in Jersey City. I must admit, my heart and stomach were craving Indian food. The space resembles a typical pizzeria--large and clean. Staff--very helpful and friendly. We liked the "buy 2 pizza with toppings and get one free cheese pizza for free" deal. I ordered the spinach while my friend chose peppers and onions. At $6.85, it was a personal size and filling pizza. I couldn't finish it all and took home nearly an entire pie to go (this included half of the free cheese pie that my friend and I split). After 15 minutes, our pizzas were ready, piping hot and good. My nitpick is that the cheese was not of the fresh variety. It seemed processed with a too thick layer overall. The crust was quite good. Thicker at the top while nice and thin throughout the rest of the slice. I wasn't able to taste the sauce since it seemed to be dominated by the cheese while the spinach was unevenly buried beneath the cheese. I did not detect nor experience a "desi" style taste to it as some reviewers mentioned. Overall, it was good and satisfying but since I'm not Indian and I love the food, if I'm going to trek to Jersey City, and intend to grab a bite on Newark Avenue, it will be for Indian food. Singas was on my list to try and I'm glad I did. I'd recommend if you want something different when in the area.

I've been eating this pizza for 3 days in a row now and I still cannot get enough! I grew up eating Singas pizza. For so many occasions we had growing up, Singas was one of the first places we turned to. Each pizza is like a personal size basically, one person can eat 1 - depending on how hungry you are. I usually can eat at least half or finish most. The crust is thin too which I like - a pro tip is to ask for it well done, that way you can ensure there will be maximum crispiness. And they actually make it well done every time you ask for it like that, which I appreciate. It makes the crust so nice and crispy, and if you're getting delivery I'd highly consider this, just so it doesn't get super soggy on the way back. If you buy two you get one cheese pizza free here, so we usually order accordingly. One of my absolute FAVORITES is their green pepper and onion pizza. Its seriously my go-to and I get it almost every time I get singas. I also love pineapple on my pizza (I know very controversial subject) but I often get the pineapple & jalapeno as well. Their garlic bread is also very fresh, they use real garlic, its buttery, its hot and its delicious. Another thing to keep in mind is this business is cash only- at least at the Jersey City location it is, so unless you're ready to haggle with the ATM machine, I'd try to bring some cash. Service is usually fast and nice. They give you accurate wait times. Pro tip - call earlier on and give them your delivery/pick up time and they'll prioritize you and make sure its done on time. I loveeeee how fresh and amazing it is when you eat in store - if you have the time consider stopping by and grabbing yourself some garlic bread, pizza and coca cola at Singas! Love this place and 10/10 recommend.

So I'm waiting here for my food 40 mins later no one is here to give me my order. Poor customer service and needs new staffing or close. Waiting for more time to see if anyone is here to work.

I have been coming here for years now and I can't get enough of Singas pizza, located in Jersey City. I honestly could finish the entire pie by myself when I'm really hungry because it's that delicious ! Singas pizza does a great job of creating freshly made, thin crust pizza. Crunchy in all the right ways and cheesy , just how I like it ! The plain pie is delicious on its own, the mushroom one is also one of my favorites!! What I love about this is how pocket friendly it is, You're not breaking the bank and you're getting tasty ,fresh made pizza . I'm not a fan of a lot of dough and Singas knows-how to perfectly balance the amount of cheese and dough in their pies. I don't know why they don't have more reviews considering how great their pizza is , and I'm a pizza lover ! Environment, your typical pizzeria nothing too special , but definitely worth it ! Reasonable price , delightfully tasty , give this place a try ! Just a tip it's cash only, So just bring some with you !

Staff is very professional and friendly, always making sure everyone is having a good time. Honestly, all the food is great here but some of my favorites are definitely the carpaccio and calamari appetizer (the calamari is the BEST I ever had, hands down) and their coffee panacota for dessert is also out of this world, just amazing! If you are a bread lover just know they make their own bread in house. 5 stars always!

For appetizers, we got zucchini chips, fried calamari and mussels. The calamari was fried too hard and it had a very salty, spicy Chilean type sauce over it. The zucchini chips were thinly sliced, lightly battered with Parmesan cheese sprinkled over them. They were decent but nothing to write home about. In fact, after having about six or seven of the zucchini chips I began to experience heartburn from the grease. For entrees, my husband had the chicken parm. He said it was too thick and should have been flattened more before frying. It was also very breaded. My brother-in-law ordered the chicken and waffles and he said the chicken tasted day old so after having a bite of one piece of the chicken he pushed the chicken aside and called it a day. I called the waiter over and informed him about the chicken tasting day old. He didn't try to change it out or take it off the bill or get a manager. He just apologized by saying I'm sorry. My crab Mac and Cheese was decent. It wasn't seasoned the way I would have liked but the huge, plentiful chunks of crab made up for that. I ate a third of my dish and packed the rest for home where I will doctor it up to my taste. I've never been to this particular restaurant before. The only reason we came today is because my brother-in-law was here on business and staying at a hotel in the area.

Perfectly cooked pasta. "Everything is homemade," Angelo explained later. Smart and fairly well-priced wine list. We asked why the 2020 Carparzo Brunello di Montalcino was so low priced, and learned the wine has been priced the same since their father closed their Upper East Side location and the kids opened in Newark. Paired with the honey and peppercorn were *chefs kiss*. Just a perfect shareable app. The mortadella was also good but smaller than I anticipated. I'd maybe pass on this next time. Honestly this would have paired perfectly with the toast but it was brought out after the toast was finished. We ordered two pastas: the rigatoni and the malfadine. Both were great and cooked perfectly. The quality of ingredients were a standout in both of the dishes. Pork pampanella was the most tender pork I've ever had. Basically melted in your mouth. Very fatty and heavy (a little too heavy...) but delicious. 4.5/5 overall. Some of the dishes were missing a little something to take it all the way but I'd still recommend this spot tho. This was creamy, fresh, and absolutely delicious. The now classic honey ricotta toast never disappoints ($14). They currently have my favorite, the Malfaldine with speck, grana padano, and black pepper ($22) - Get this. They no longer have the baccala and potato skin with chive ravioli. This was a fun play on potato skins. Some of the pasta had the baccala while others had the potato mascarpone. Although entertaining, it was less memorable than the other dishes. The smoked paprika pork shoulder was a dish that could feed 4. It's a massive cut of meat. While I did enjoy this, I needed more of polenta or a sauce. As anticipated it was very meat forward ;) For dessert I highly recommend their classic olive oil cake. This was moist and had a small Tablespoon of a guava sauce. For $10 don't miss this. The salted chocolate cake was a bit dry, but satisfied the sweet tooth. This went well with a double espresso. We stayed until closing and in fact were seated 15 mins past closing. Our waiter was kind and charming. He gave us his recommendations. Despite the menu being small and rotational, it always feels like there is something new and exciting to try. The Rutabaga and leek was that for me this time. I assume this is a winter dish. I recommend trying this before they move to a Soring menu and I wouldn't miss it!
