However, the food temperature was not hot enough for my liking and was only slightly warm for many of the items. Also, we had to ask for roti as it was not automatically offered. The roti arrived pipping hot. My favourite items were the gulab jamun and kheer as both were served in the appropriate temperatures. The gulab jamun was served warm and the kheer served chilled. I did enjoy trying a number of different types of curries and the flavours were quite delicious. Restaurant was clean and tidy. Service was efficient. Our server stopped by regularly to clear dirty plates and refill water. I would consider coming back to try their lunch buffet to see if it was just a one off day. I do think this restaurant is a great option in the area if they can work out the small details. Overall, it was a 3.5 star experience. I had to knock a star down because of the food temperature.

It had some carrot slivers as well, and was a perfectly well balanced soup. My next course, the seared scallops, were brought out quite quickly and were also quite delicious. Admittedly, this was my first time trying scallops so I can't truly review them one way or another, given I didn't know what to expect from them. My third course was the beef arugula salad and although it didn't smell as appetizing given the mixture of plates I had prior, it was incredibly delicious. The meat was cooked perfectly and was just as tender and juicy as I had hoped. My fourth course, the red wine braised short rib served with fondant potatoes and roasted seasonal vegetables, was positively to die for. I, admittedly, was stuffed at this point and already knew I'd have leftovers, but I wanted to finish every bite if I was able as it truly was perfection. Finally, for my fifth course, I was given the cheesecake which was rich, creamy and delicious. It was just the right size of slice and finished off the meal wonderfully. The two by five dish looked miserable, especially the sausage. They looked shriveled up. I swapped the toast for the stuffed hashbrowns and that was the highlight. The stuffed hashbrowns contained cheese, maple bacon, sour cream and green onions. Pretty much a meal on its own as it was quite a big portion. The hash was also crispy which was nice. The rest of the breakfast dish was passable but not wow. Excellent service by the server which made the experience not too bad. Hopefully the lunch items would be better? Not sure if I will go back again though.
