    Greek Salad
    Matt H.

Good experience - could have been better. We came in for Christmas Eve dinner and enjoyed our time with some notes. The Christmas Eve menu was a price fix. For the appetizer section they had a lovely sounding beet salad which our entire table picked only to be told they were sold out - how you sell out of a salad on a price fixe menu when you only have 3 options I am unsure but regardless we were not interested in any of the other options so our lovely server and manager made us a Greek salad instead which was great. For my main I had the crab cakes which couldn't have been better. I loved every bit of them. Finally for dessert I had the pistachio baklava which to be honest was not great but that's alright. Service was impeccable. Ambiance is interesting, we didn't realize this was a hotel as well and the hotel reception is quite literally in the restaurant which threw me off a bit but otherwise the ambiance was fine. Overall I don't know that I am rushing back to Sirocco but I wouldn't say to stay away either.

We were excited to try out this spot as my friend and I had never been here before. This is a Greek and Italian food place. Located downstairs of a hotel. The vibes here are chill and the restaurant has a beautiful bar area. I can't remember the name of our waitress but she was nice and attentive. Maybe a little too attentive. It was nice she came over alot to make sure everything was ok but at times it felt like she just had nothing else to do as my friend and I did go at an early dinner time. So not many people were there. We got bread for the table which tasted nice and fresh. It came with some Garlic and then an herbed butter. The Olive oil and herbed butter were delightful. For appetizers and main dishes my friend and I shared the Caprese salad which was tasty. We got the pine nuts on the side due to my allergies. Everything on this dish tasted fresh. I had the chicken skewers and rigatoni pasta with meat sauce as I couldn't decide what to get as both sounded sooooo good. I was full after the chicken dish. It came with Tzatziki sauce. My friend enjoyed her dish as well. I had to drink a NA beer and my friend enjoyed her glass of wine. I suggest trying this spot out and maybe coming early as it seems like it can get crowded especially later at night.

Nice spot to have a lovely meal. My friend and I came for an early dinner so if you want to beat the crowds and don't mind eating early, you won't need a reservation-- if not, get one! Happy hour is only served at the bar FYI. My friend and I were seated by a window and given nice warm bread and herbal butter and soft garlic. Tasted lovely. My friend and I shared the caprese salad which was nice. If I could give a tip, I would say add more basil or keep leaves instead of slices them to balance out how much balsamic glaze is on the dish. My friend was famished and she couldn't decide what she wanted, so she got Lemon chicken skewers which is enjoyed and also had Ragu pasta. She enjoyed both. I ordered the crab cakes which were generous in size. I could only eat one. The veggies were a bit mushy not crisp. The tomatoes and cucumbers tasted refreshing. We both took home leftovers! We will come back for cocktails and dessert!!

Ambiance was great and the staff was very nice and accommodating and attentive. The food itself wasn't that great. The pasta came out overcooked and the mussels still had sand.

Nice looking place - staff was very friendly but overall we were disappointed in our meals. There were 6 of us and so we were able to sample various things. The Beef Carpaccio was very good. The Caesar salad had mixed reviews with most finding something lacking in it. The Beet Fennel and Orange salad was delicious. The Osso Buco was thin and on the chewy side and didn't really fall off the bone that is usual with that dish. The Lamb chops again got mixed reviews depending on what was expected by the 3 who ordered it. The Bolognese was not hot and had little to no meat with a somewhat over the top amount of pasta. The Mussels with Chorizo was ok but overpowered by the taste of the tomatoes in the sauce. Don't think we will be rushing back soon

Went to Sirocco for breakfast and the food, service and ambiance was phenomenal! VERY vegetarian friendly, we got the avocado toast (which they allowed us to remove onions since my mom doesn't eat), breakfast potatoes which melted in my mouth but still were crispy, fruit bowl which was fresh and sweet, and a ny style bagel which tasted incredible and was toasted to perfection. We are going back for dinner as well because of how good the food is and how vegetarian friendly they are!

Great location not far from the beach in a hotel. Vibes is very chill and modern. Service is friendly and efficient. Enjoyed their take on a cosmo with some lemonade. Nice wine list too. The caprese salad was really elevated with a balsamic reduction, pesto, and toasted pine nuts. So good I forgot to take a picture. Several gluten free options, including pasta. The pasta portions were huge! I was really hungry and enjoyed the mushroom florentine. Pasta was cooked well and the sauce was very flavorful. My husband enjoyed his seafood pasta. Prices are quite reasonable. Definitely check this place out!

Great happy hour deals and specials throughout the week. I had the Mushroom Florentine last time I was in and it was out of this world. Highly recommend and the service is always above and beyond.

This restaurant is in the lobby of the Coast hotel. It serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We had breakfast here on Saturday and Sunday morning. The menu is nice. Between the two days, we had the Greek yogurt parfait, the sourdough breakfast sandwich, avocado toast, and the Spanish omelet. They all tasted great. Ambiance and service were also good.

I can't believe it took me this long to find Balkan Fusion but I'm so glad I did! The restaurant itself is clean, quaint, and welcoming, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Now, for the food we had: Cheese Burek: Made with feta, ricotta, and mozzarella, which was delicious! Next time, I'm definitely asking for their traditional Macedonian version (which from what the owner was telling us is super buttery and I imagine amazing). However I'd also be curious if they take requests as I'd love a 50% cottage cheese and 50% sour cream mix. The Mixed Board: A complete standout. It comes with pita bread plus an amazing selection of meats: -Cevapi: Perfectly grilled minced meat sausages that were absolutely delicious. -Chicken: Incredibly moist and perfectly seasoned. -Sudzukice: A spicy sausage link that's a bit different from what I'm used to in Albanian cuisine, but fantastic. It reminded me of a super flavorful, elevated hot dog (I'd love to try this served on a bun or in the pita with spicy mustard next time!). - Sharska Pljeskavica: Hands down unbelievable. I've never had this before. It's a homemade beef and pork mixed patty stuffed with melted cheese and bacon. Mind blown! If you're anywhere near North Wildwood, do not walk, run to Balkan Fusion. We will absolutely be back next year if not sooner!

Hugs for my friends who are regulars, and a warm hello and handshake for me. After a brief wait for our table of ten, we were seated graciously, and the experience began! Water, drink orders and bread were brought, I think we had at least six or so people checking in, taking orders and refreshing glasses of wine, for those who ordered the $125 wine pairings to the $145 dinner, I was driving, so I ordered two glasses of wine - $22 and $18. The amuse bouche was a tiny BLT and a small glass of clarified gazpacho- never heard of that, but the liquid was clear with tiny bits of red and green peppers and was so flavorful! The first course was yellow corn panne cotta with a smear of jumbo lump crab - oh, wow! Almost my favorite course. My favorite was rockfish ravioli in a basil and clam broth - could have eaten way more than the three of those if it was a main, but they were generously sized!!! The third course, Chicken Ballantine, Summer Vegetables, Natural Jus, was a little strange - there was a small medallion of chicken breast that was, I think, ground and under cooked - spongy, wrapped in some veg, maybe bok choy?, and then wrapped in dried-ish chicken skin. A little like a sushi presentation, but cooked. It was accented by a tiny fried piece of chicken breast. That fried bit is all I ate. Dessert was divine - a peach that was really a construction of white chocolate, sponge cake inside and peach butter - nestled on meringue and other yummy things like a tiny scoop of peach sorbet - and a companion sorbet in a fruit liquid. By that time, my taste buds were so overwhelmed by deliciousness, I had to get dessert to go (sans sorbet). I had it for breakfast- what a treat!! Overall, a wonderful experience - only a couple of odd things - since we were 10, we asked for separate checks by couples - the server grumbled and complained about something about having to override their system from the time we asked for that until the time we paid the check. A few couples had to go to the bar to pay the check, until she was able to do a work around to let the last of us pay...after waiting for some sort of fix...and more grumbling. And, while I really appreciate that they provided small stands for our purses next to our chairs, I tripped over them while using the ladies, and getting seated on return when the sweet staff ran to follow us back in the room and tried to pull our chairs for reseating. We left with a sweet basket of a little brioche bread with lovely plum jam for each of us. So special!! I can't wait to go back - maybe for lunch time. Such a memorable experience!!
