TLDR: Food okay, prices high, service inconsistent, and ambiance nice. Food: presented nicely. Greek salad was tasty and loaded with capers, but smallish portion. Chicken parm was a thick 1/2 breast, and the pasta with it was abundant. The sauce lacked any flavor, though. The salmon looked great, but was described to me as "it's okay". Prices: see high-ish. These were the two least expensive entrees at below $30. Others went up from there, to I think a high of $63? Service: this will sound petty, but here goes: 3 tables/couples near us all were presented with bread/butter almost immediately after sitting. When we still hadn't been offered any by the time we were finished with salads, we asked for and eventually received bread. Other tables, including those seated after us had entrees long before us. Our server seemed more interested in hanging out by the kitchen door and talking with a colleague. Ambiance: this is a newly renovated space, with all new stuff. It was nice. We had some high expectations with a 4.2 star rating. The Ceasar salad was good but was different with roasted garlic. The beet, fennel, and orange slices salad was excellent. The Veal Osso Buco was very unusual where the meat did not fall off the bone and had a shape like a Salisbury steak (the sauce was good). The Bolognese pasta was only 10% eaten because it barely had enough sauce and meat (just warm and basically all pasta). The lamb chops came out at different temperatures where all three were ordered medium. Very tender but thinly sliced. It could have use some salt and more seasoning. read more

Great restaurant! We took advantage of a pre-season Monday special. The restaurant is right kind of in the lobby of the hotel. Well decorated and since the weather was so nice the big window was open. I had a nice Peroni beer and lamb chops on couscous. Definitely fancy style! Tasted great and of course service was good too. The manager also stopped by. This restaurant is a little more upscale than a lot of others in the area. We had a nice evening. read more

Loved the food! Wait staff were very pleasant. Jazz music playing is always good for digestion! We're gluten-free. The menu is limited but had GF options. I had the whole branzino but didn't want to pick thru the bones. The chef fileted the fish for me. My sister had the lamb chops. Both meals were fantastic. Luv this place. We will be back! read more

If I could give 0 stars I would...They get 1 star for the look of the restaurant; from there it was down hill. Let me explain: cocktails come and the lime was so old (brown and nasty plus ordered the drink, no fruit. Then we order the bottle of wine 2014, not in stock (found out later, bartender brings over a 2020). I told him that's not what I ordered, he told me this is what he has. I asked about the cost, he said it's the same. I can't see a 2014 & 2020 being the same price. For the food , quality wasn't what I expected. The shrimp were like shrimp you would get in fried rice swimming in a pool of olive oil. Entrees, when they came no silverware; table was never reset. The lamb rack, the eye was so small as were the scallops. I really wanted to like this restaurant as a go to place, but it's not happening. The look of the restaurant you would be expecting so much more. When we were leaving, I expect someone should be at the hostess stand and ask how was everything and to also say thanks, have a good evening. There was no one there. This bothered me so much that I reached out to the VP. I have no problems with him as he reached out to me right away. He gave my info to his GM and I had to wait a couple of days before we spoke. When we did, I got a lame excuse that she was off that night. I was brought up in the hospitality industry and was taught to always make it look like the Chef and GM are there, when they're not. I explained the whole evening in detail and got more excuses, they sent the wrong size scallops etc. She wanted to make it right and I agree, so I was to call when I would be coming back. Well I called and asked her to confirm for the date and time I left for her; I never got a phone call back. I waited again debating what I was going to do; I reached out to the VP again and he contacted his GM and told her to give me a call. I get a call and voicemail and she leaves the message that I never gave her a call, all I can say is unbelievable, really? Like I told the VP, I was hoping so much for this establishment and nice place to go with friends often, but that's not going to happen. I will not be stepping foot in this establishment. read more

Went for 2 for 1 Wednesday night. Server was great food was poor. Ordered chicken parm which is served over pappardelle pasta. Chicken was cold and pasta was warm and sitting too long. Returned with more sauce and worse than original entree. Bread & salad were yummy. Don't think this will be high on recommendations. Maybe a CHEF( not a cook) & BETTER MANAGER who would have apologized for above. Also dogs should be allowed in outside seating area! read more

I don't normally post reviews, but tonight was one of the worst experiences at a high priced restaurant I have ever had. I am lactose intolerant, but I ALWAYS make sure EVERY server is aware and I always ask if dishes possibly contain dairy. In this case I asked if the pasta Bolognese contained dairy and, if it did, could they make it without it as I am ALLERGIC. I am always ready with a 2nd option and am even apologetic if the dish cannot be altered. I've been this way for 30 years and I know how to order food at this point. The server said she would check the ingredients with the kitchen. 10 minutes later our food was served. My dish had Parmesan all over it. Not sure how the wires got crossed but I told her I could not eat the dish as served and she said she would speak with the kitchen. As someone with a special circumstance I always tell my 2 sons and wife to eat while I wait for corrections, which happen more often than I would like. But I NEVER complain as it can only make everything worse. They got 3 bites deep and I could tell their dishes were not enjoyable. The comments focused on how oily everything was. The server returned and said the dish I ordered had dairy anyway so removing the parm didn't matter. At that point I simply said I would rather not eat. The server asked if I was sure and I politely said I was. She returned 5 minutes later and said the kitchen was offering pasta with marina. I again passed as my family was nearly done. At no point did a manager or chef visit our table nor was there any acknowledgment that we were not having the best experience. The bill came and my order was removed. We paid the $130 bill (even without my dish) and left. NEVER COMING BACK! We have a home in Bethany and frequent Rehoboth. My family will not patronize this establishment again. Our bad for expecting top level service from a higher end restaurant with ridiculous prices. read more

Excellent good. Service is great. We have been here three times. Always wonderful. Ambiance is lovely.

We sat at the bar in the new restaurant which is in the lobby of a hotel. That usually doesn't bother me, but there is no separation from the lobby. There were about 20 people yelling and talking loudly. Service - bartender was great if a bit overwhelmed as it was his first day. They have some cool drinks. Food - We had some small plates and a salad. Burrata was fantastic, lamb sliders were a little dry, and the clams were great. I'm just disappointed about the ambiance for the prices. We'll see if they get more intimate after the season as we'll give it one more try, but in a town of great restaurants, I'm not sure this will be a 'go to'. read more

Thanksgiving dinner was 10/10. Best stuffing I have ever had. The wait staff was so cheery and kind. They accommodated our every meal. Chicken soup was cooked to perfection. I really enjoyed the salad but it could have been slightly bigger. The chocolate lava cake was perfect if you are a chocolate lover. Restaurant merged into a hotel lobby but it felt very open and airy! I can't wait to go back! read more

We ate at Sirocco tonight - they just opened a few nights ago. Our food was absolutely delicious and the service was great! We started by sharing a Barrata Caprese - easily sharable and delicious. Then, my husband had lamb chops with eggplant and couscous and I had the Frutte de Mer - scallops, octopus, shrimp, and baby clams on fresh fettuccine. I do not like scallops so they left those off. Absolutely delicious - the sauce was scrape-the-plate delicious. We did not stay for dessert - The new Hilton that shares the front door looks beautiful! We will be back. read more

This is a new eatery in Rehoboth and my family had a very tasty Sunday brunch there inclupding eggs Benedict, crab cake sandwich, lamb sliders, and pecan French toast. Good price points and $5 bloody Marys. All good. Our server was sweet and overall the service was good but I sensed they are still working out some staffing kinks. During the entire brunch in a spacious room that was not crowded, a very unsmiling hostess was in the process of setting up all the other tables, presumably for dinner. This unfortunately involved a lot of clattering of plates, wiping down tables, clinking of silverware, etc. Sounds picky but any good restaurant would have done that way before the service hours. read more

My wife and I went there last night for the first time. Very clean very accommodationg, especially John. Had a slight problem, but John took care of it. My wife and I stopped in for a dinner and were surprised how wonderful everything was. We plan to return and enjoy the ambiance, and food again, I had Scallops, which were very large. My wife had crab cakes, which were all crab and no filler. the Accompanning veggies were done just right, and the charred Octopus was just great, cooked to perfection, not overdone. Wonderful time at Sirocco. We went there for the first time on Valentine's day. We did not know what to expect - we were shocked. The old run-down Sandcastle Hotel has been transformed into a modern and comfortable place. The ambiance is very cool and sleek, especially around the bar. I say this in the most positive way. You have to go to see it for yourself. The food was also awesome as was the service. Even though the restaurant was packed, everyone (from the wait staff, the hostess and even the hotel desk clerk) pitched in to make you feel like you are the only people in the room. It feels like a family business and if they are not family they do act like they are. The scallops were perfect as were the crab cakes. Full 100% recommendation. read more

My wife and I tried a new restaurant in the new Coast Hotel on the avenue in Rehoboth. We had the Pan Seared Scallops and Frutti de Mare over Fettuccine. Both were very good and well presented. Atmosphere was a little hotelish though as the restaurant was right off of the front desk with little separation. A little dividing wall would have made a big difference. read more

I have eaten at Sirocco once before and the service and food were outstanding. With that in mind, I made a reservation for New Year's Eve - big mistake. It took the server about 20 minutes to bring a scotch on the rocks and another 5 minutes to bring a sprite. The server told us the bar was backed up. The appetizers took another 20 minutes: charred Caesar Salad and crab bisque. The crab bisque tasked like Campbell's cream of chicken soup with a little bit of crab meat and a sprinkle of Old Bay Season - big disappointment. Some people around us were being served before us even though they came in after us. The steak au poivre was great - made the way if should be. The lobster tails were good just way too much risotto. I asked for a decafe coffee - that machine was not working (???), only the regular coffee machine. When we finished our meals, we had to ask someone from Sirocco to find out server, no where to be found. I asked the manager who came over to the table just to give us the check and forget the coffee (regular). We wanted to get our check and get out of the restaurant. The hostess brought the coffee in a to-go container (Huh??). Really a shame to have had such a bad experience. Most probably will not go there againl read more
