Wow. This place surprised me! You know when you walk in a place and it isn't fancy, but you know the food will be good? This is that kind of place. I got the spicy friend chicken and rice! Sooooo good Partner got the pork chop also amazing. We took turns stealing from each others plates. Will def stop in again when in the areas

I absolutely love this place. It is a gem. I found it one rainy day looking for some close-by Asian cuisine and let me tell you this place does not disappoint. The menu is small so you know they do what they do good or shall I say great. I love the sisters that own the spot. They are very kind, attentive and even let me bring my bicycle in so I didn't have to watch it outside. The space is small, but it has a familiar feeling. You feel as though you are about to eat someone's families best dish. This is the yellow curry. It is some of the best curry I've had, especially so close to home. This time I got the passionfruit green tea and after the last few hot days we've had, so refreshing. I've also ordered the rose lychee green tea, and it's amazing! I recommend and will definitely be back!

Food was delicious! I loved the samosas and curry. The customer service was great, and the staff was so sweet. My friends loved it. I HIGHLY recommend the popcorn chicken

Beef Noodle Soup

The Beef Noodle Soup was great! Very homey taste as others have stated! I enjoyed it. Also tried the Chicken and Rice and wow the chicken was well seasoned and delicious. Joining the rice was a side of pickled veggies. Also great! Lastly I got an order of their veggie spring rolls. Very tasty and the sweet dipping sauce being a highlight. Looking forward to coming back! Affordable meals with great portions :) Service was great as well.

We had Daisy as our server, and were very happy. We had tea, tonkatsu curry, gyoza, chicken teriyaki bowl, and a combination plate with teriyaki beef and tempura. It is the definition of "Mom and Pop" with a tiny staff and only 4 tables and some seats at a counter. We went on a Sat around 2pm and the wait was only 10-15 min for a table. People tend to be respectful and eat and move on knowing others are waiting. We ordered green tea, and my wife got Oolong tea, then complimentary miso soups came out that were exceptional. This is said too much, but you could, you could taste the love in the food. It was like someone was cooking for us in their house. My wife got a bowl that had the most amazingly cooked bok choy in it along with the salmon. I didn't know I would be getting excited about bok choy, but it was that good. I had the salmon teriyaki combo that included a salad and spicy tuna roll. I think I audibly moaned when I ate the spicy tuna roll. Just a different level of flavor and freshness. The only thing that sucked was there is no restroom for customers. We needed to go down to the metro station 1.5 blocks away and use the public toilet, which was free, clean and easy to use, but still, it was a big hassle when we just wanted to stay there and enjoy our food. I mean and we were drinking tea and eating soup, so you can imagine. Come and enjoy this amazing hidden local gem, just use the restroom before you get here.

The Kodo trio comes with uni, toro, & wagyu and the Toro sampler comes with o-toro, chu-toro, akami. All of these handrolls were phenomenal & just left you wanting more. The Wagyu katsu you cook on a hot stone at the table which I liked as an interactive dish. The Wagyu cheeseburger was dripping with juice but still had those crunchy edges. The Uni pasta was beautiful & delicious. The Chimichurri prawns I could eat multiple plates of- the shell comes sliced down the middle so you just have to peel it off. For dessert we ordered the Kodo basque cheesecake & Miso chocolate torte. I love a basque cheesecake & the sesame crumble added great texture. The miso chocolate torte made me wish I ordered my own. Parking is a little bit crazy around the area. I got lucky because it was a federal holiday on Juneteenth. But if you can find parking, it is well worth it! This hole in the wall place is inside a small little food court next to pizza and a Thai place. I know it might seem a little bit sketchy around the neighborhood, but there's some tables inside to eat and also nice little photo area outside of the food hall. Food: - SHRIMP 15/10 would recommend. Make sure you eat it right then and there with shell on. It had the best seasoning, butter and crunch. I could just do 40 of these. I chose the green salad, but you could also choose cucumber and Mac salad as well. The green salad was packed to the brim! - Meat Jun - ALSO FIRE. It was super tender and flavorful. Don't sleep on this one as well. Quality of meat is amazing. Service does take a little bit longer around 15 min but for the quality of food, I don't mind waiting. As I was thinking about this in the car, I thought to myself it did seem kind of expensive $22 for shrimp and $26 for the beef but we did get complementary drinks so same same. I know it takes a lot of time and energy to prep this deliciousness. Overall, everything was absolutely amazing! Thank you so much Broken Mouth for the experience! We'll definitely be back soon to try the short rib. Cool future implementation: Would love to have a bigger mix and match or 2 item combo box!

Loved that it had some classic dishes and some fusion ones as well. Came on a Friday night and joined the waitlist but only had to wait about 10 minutes! For appetizers we went with the server's recommendation; chicken gizzard confit. Chicken gizzard confit was mind blowing. As someone who enjoys things like gizzard, these were cooked in a way I had never had before and it was delicious. The uni pasta was sooo rich, creamy, and flavorful. 10/10 I would recommend it. The bolognese was good too it was super complex compared to the ordinary bolognese and had eggplants as well. Overall, the ambience was great and experience was amazing. Once step inside, the decoration, the vibe totally changed. It's a dark hue with humbling yet elegant setting with a bar table and I almost felt like a dining in the cave ambiance. The menu was not complicated and only focused on pasta, but there are so many choices to my liking! The squid ink, the mentai cream, the uni sauce, and the garlic butter sauce. We ended up settling with Creamy Crab Gratin, mentai cream pasta, the Pescatore Bianca (seafood spaghetti), and Tarako Spaghetti (Cod roe and squid garlic butter sauce). -Crab Gratin is really creamy and cheesy. I just didn't quite get why there are a few pieces of penne pasta inside. But overall tasted good! -All pasta comes with bread and salad. The salad is really fresh and serve mostly lettuce and cherry tomato, which is how I like it. The dressing is not the ranch creamy kind, more cloudy vinaigrette based, also to my liking. -Seafood spaghetti came with a variety of seafood, shrimp, squid ring, mussels, clams, etc. The portion is huge. -Mentai cream pasta: delicious! I think if I order uni pasta, it'll be the same cream base sauce but with uni and $6 bucks more. I'm happy with my choice. The whole dish is consistent, creamy with a slight kick from the mentai, slices of mushrooms and shredded seaweeds on the top. Delish! -Tarako Spaghetti: I took a small bite and appreciated the strong taste of garlic butter in the sauce. -All 3 pasta are served with the thin spaghetti like angel hair. Service is ok, we asked for water refill and the response was polite. Dirty dishes were taken away timely. If I had more time, I would definitely come back for a second visit. A place like this deserves to be in a more upscale block on the street. Btw, parking inside the plaza is not free even though it's just a strip mall. Expect about $8 bucks for dinner parking. It's gated entrance. If you get lucky, you can park on the street and pay the meter.

The unadon, hamburger steak, and curry udon were all really good, but the yakitori skewers tended to be disappointing. The Tsukune was dry, the Negima was quite bland. As someone who's more of a casual diner and really enjoyed the previous menu, this new direction just wasn't for me. The staff were very kind and took the time to explain all the changes, which I appreciated. However, we ordered about six dishes and were surprised at how small the portions were.
