Turns out they keep it raised until about 4 o'clock while they brew beer behind the theater, then the screen comes down later for basketball, games, and movies. Honestly, that just made me appreciate the place even more. I walk all over Seaside trying different spots, little hidden places, tourist places, all of it, and somehow this still ends up being my favorite lunch spot in town. The food never disappoints. Ever. The prices are shockingly good for what you get, and they somehow manage to get food out fast without sacrificing quality. What I love most is the space. Even when town is packed, you are not jammed in elbow to elbow with people. Families, kids, locals, everybody just looks comfortable there. Big open historic theater, great food, quick service, sports on the screen later in the day, and good atmosphere without the chaos. Screen up or screen down, this place is one of my favorites. The pretzel was also a miss for us and wasn't something we'd order again. That said, the atmosphere was enjoyable, and they had live music that we really liked. It made for a fun place to hang out and relax. I think this could have been a much better experience if the food had come out hot. There's just nothing worse than getting cold fries and lukewarm food. If they can improve on that, I'd definitely bump up my rating.

The table wasn't wiped from previous glassware on the table but wasn't too bothersome. Napkins were already at the table so we could wipe it just fine. Our waitress was very nice and made sure to check on us frequently. The overall atmosphere was very nice. Despite it being in the heart of the tourism area, the vibe of the restaurant stayed classy for all guests. I saw employees of all kinds frequently greeting customers which made it feel all the more welcoming. The food itself beat my expectations. It was priced fairly for the quality we received. My filet mignon was a perfect medium-rare and the broth from the steamer clams was incredible! Ceviche was also 10/10.
