Great breakfast and brunch spot when you're in the area. Definitely a cute little restaurant with a little touch of luxury in the inside with the half moon chairs and intimate seating. The name is also interesting! Six corners!!! I didn't realize what it meant till my fiancé pointed it out. Haha, clever name. Service: friendly staff. Amazing service. Food: good! It could be seasoned a bit more. I got the omelette and my other half ordered a steak and eggs. Came here New Years Day around 11am. It seemed pretty dead but I didn't mind because it meant we got our choice of table. But it turns out we just beat the rush because after 15 minutes it was almost packed! Lucky us! The entire place is cozy, and gives me a cute classic diner vibe. I love it. We were greeted when we walked inside, and our waiter was nice too! He was quick to grab our drink order, and gave a good amount of time for my indecisive self to decide what to eat. I ended up getting the chorizo omelet that was on their specials board. If I remember correctly it had chorizo, onions, peppers and cheese. I got pancakes on the side because I felt like I deserved to treat myself! My husband got the Denver omelet, also with pancakes on the side. I will admit the way the omelet is presented it looks underwhelming, but it was so good! I loved it. I included a picture of the inside so you can see how jam packed this omelet is. I do wish it had spicy peppers but thats just my personal preference. I would definitely order this again! The pancakes were sooo yummy. It turns out I did deserve to treat myself because the cook accidentally made an extra so I got 3 instead of 2! Hahaha. They were HUGE though I definitely expected smaller pancakes. If I had known my husband and I could have just shared one plate of them. Oh well, maybe next time! They were so soft and perfectly made. I was really happy. A lot of places overcook them or they're too dry. These were perfect pancakes. All in all, I was very satisfied with our overall experience here! Odd location. It's literally at an intersection of six cornered so depending on which way you come, you may have a hrs time trying to turn in. Seems to be the type of place with regulars. Monday breakfast crowd was in there, waiter was very attentive and pleasant to interact with. I ordered the French toast while a friend ordered an omelette and hash browns. The French toast came with powdered sugar and for an extra $1.50 i added strawberries. The chef later came up and asked if I would prefer fresh strawberries or the strawberry purée. I opted for the fresh strawberries. I'm giving them three stars because he food didn't stand out and the strawberries were not as fresh as implied. Finally had a chance to try this place out. Usually a place for breakfast, but I was craving something else while my friends wanted the breakfast items. The place is not that large in space and has that old school almost diner type feel to it. I ordered the "Six Corners Burger" which included, fried egg, grilled onions, Canadian bacon, and cheddar. I also added some avocado to it. It also came with a side of fries. The burger was pretty large and definitely filling. My burger patty was slightly on the drier side. My friends enjoyed their breakfast items which included the Chicken fried steak (I had some and it tasted good) and Willamette Valley Skillet (also tasty). They should change the name to "Cuts Corners". Just finished the worst breakfast either of us have ever had. This was our first time here and we had hoped it would be good...not even great. Near our home, cute and good menu. But all the good ends there. The waiter was pretty surely and the food was inedible. I ordered the chicken fried steak which is an entree I always enjoy to have. This joint prepared it by taking a handful of cheap, grey colored hamburger, rolled it into a ball, breaded it and then deep fried it. After cutting through the tough as cardboard crust the meat was RAW. The side of pancakes were like rubber. We have never experienced pancakes that you could not even cut the butter knife (we googled it to find that to make such a monstrosity you need to really over mix the batter....guess they mixed it for at least a few hours). Our other entree was a veggie omelet that made my girlfriend have an upset stomach and much more...enough said. We really wanted to love this place but it is AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL. AVOID. read more

The French toast was really average and the strawberries were canned and not fresh. Great brunch and breakfast spot! It is a very nostalgic, small little diner-like spot with huge portions! I got the Willamette Omelette and it was really good and worth the price point. We were on this side of town and needed breakfast Yelp once again did not disappoint with the options they gave. The interior is so bright and friendly it was very well done. The food was out in about 15 minutes our server never let the coffee cup run dry. The food was great, your typical mom and pops diner food done Homestyle. I would definitely come back when Im in the area. The outside seating looked inviting . The prices are reasonable for the amount of food you receive. My sausage patty was a little over cooked but it didn't matter. The service and atmosphere made up for it. I ordered the Standard breakfast eggs hash-browns, toast. I really don't want to give this 3 stars. Its 2.75 I think. We had been in this place when it was Webber's and I have a Yelp friend who likes it, so I thought we'd try it. Princess didn't want to go out so we had a rough start and felt a little grumpy. Puberty is tough, man. Ahem. We went for breakfast Saturday morning about 9. We stood uncertainly for a bit while at least four servers saw us but didn't cheerily say " sit anywhere you'd like". Hubby said " well it says 'seat yourselves'" so we chose a table. A young disinterested guy brought us menus and asked about drinks. We said water and coffee. He brought water. He didn't bring coffee. A server came after a while and said " do you want anything to drink" and we explained that we'd asked for coffee and he muttered something unintelligible about the other guy and took our order. Then he didn't bring us coffee for a while, either. Other people were getting coffee during that time from a cheerful young female server with a ponytail who was also super chatty with a family that were clearly regulars seated at the counter. She refreshed lots of people's coffee. I think she's good. The ambiance is pleasant enough, 7-8 booths and 4-5 tables and some bar stools. Princess felt like it wasn't clean, there were a couple flies buzzing around, but the paint is fresh and there is some cheerful art. Rock and roll music playing on a boom box. When our food arrived it was just ok. Princess had a side of hashbrowns and some bacon. She had requested it overcooked and it came that way. She didn't really touch it ( and later when he gave us the bill he didn't ask if anything was wrong like other places might do if they saw an untouched plate). The hashbrowns were dark brown on one side and not brown at all on the other. Ick. Hubby had a haystack: hashbrowns, onion, bacon, cheddar, with two eggs ( he ordered over easy - one was as ordered, the other was over medium) and wheat toast. The toast was a little dark. It was not yummy bread. He ate all his breakfast saying it was passable. Adequate. Coffee was not great. My omelette had havarti, spinach ( it was frozen or canned and I didn't like it) and mushrooms. Mushrooms were in irregular bits, lots of stems. Eggs not tasty particularly. $8.75 with mediocre toast and hashbrowns as noted above. I left a lot behind too. After we left here we went to Baker and Spice for espresso and bread. This little suburban hole in the wall serves some of the best bunch in Portland. It's a cute, local cafe with interesting artwork right off the busy Scholls Ferry Rd. Friendly service, although a little slow. Large, hearty, warm plates of all your breakfast favorites. Lots of vegetarian options too! No liquor license for mimosas though. We loved our first visit here, and we're looking forward to returning again and again! There is a varied menu (including hash browns - which, if you follow my reviews you know I will SEEK OUT hash browns), vegetarian options, and carnivore options. I had an asparagus omelet, with hash browns - and their serving size is huge (you'll get two meals most likely). Biscuits are HUGE. You can get hash browns & toast, OR pancakes OR hashbrowns and ONE pancake (highly recommended). Service was great, food came quickly, huge portions, great quality and great taste. We arrived at 9:30, and there were a steady stream of customers throughout our time there. We waited only slightly. This is a seat-yourself place, and initially I thought it was a bit weird to stand there waiting to jump on an open table, but after we were seated I watched as a continuous line of people came in a seated themselves, were greeted promptly by a server, etc. Yeah, there's a little clog up at the front door, and there's no one taking your name, or calling it - but surprisingly I found it really efficient! read more

This place is a nice little throwback in that odd part of town where three roads make six corners and this joint makes a mean breakfast. Old school coffee cups that look straight out of the 70s (in a good way) and nice fluffy pancakes. I got a stack, but would have been fine with a short stack of two cakes because I also got a massive biscuit and gravy. Some people don't like biscuits and gravy. I know what you're thinking, there's no such thing as objective analysis in gastronomy and how a certain dish tickles yer fancy. Well you're wrong. Biscuits and gravy are a freaking delightful experience. These were a solid example, with a bit of sweetness in the biscuits and generous heaps of sausage gravy. It's a Tuesday so it was pretty empty and quiet I ordered the French toast and my friend order the biscuits and gravy with eggs and sausage. The friend toast was spectacular and biscuits and gravy pretty good. The bread was fluffy and the gravy had a really nice meaty taste to it. Excellent breakfast! This place is cute, not very large, seat your self at any clean table or bar. We came on Sunday, only had to wait 6 minutes for a table. The wait staff was busy, so we got our own menus, no biggie. My husband had chicken fried steak, gravy, hash browns, biscuit & orange juice. He said all were very good, except the biscuit was a little dense, other than that, all good. I had the 3 finger jack omelette with 1 pancake, hash browns & coffee. All excellent.
