I will not be back. I came in during their grand opening, they were offering at the time 30% off a mani and pedi. Here are the issues I experienced at this location: - It was extremely hot inside the nail salon, and naturally I am always freezing. I had to ask the owner to put on the AC. It was extremely uncomfortable, and the owner looked upset when I asked him to do so. - THIS MAKES ME ANGRY. I am finished with my mani and pedi, and I am ready to pay. I enjoyed the services and had a great time with my manicurist, no issues until this. The same owner checks me out and does not give me the 30% off promotion. Once I bring this to his attention, he then says "Oh sorry" and came up with another price which was not 30% off. I had to show the owner on my calculator the price of my mani and pedi minus 30%. After this, he very rudely took my card and processed my payment but then added "Oh their is also a $2 fee for running the water to clean manicure and pedicure tools." OH HELL NO! This man was trying to nickel and dime me. Seriously?! You charge an extra $2 to run the water to clean your tools? Clearly this "business" does not understand finances because the price of service should incorporate all fees and services. read more

Went in September for Grand Opening. Place is beautifully decorated. I had a pedicure- the tech cut my big toe and was bleeding quite badly. She put some type of liquid to stop the bleeding, but it didn't stop. Wasn't too happy I paid good money to get cut. I figured I would try the place again and get a manicure. So In December my manicure was perfect. And that's why I went back to get another manicure. I thought it would be the same great job. It wasn't. I got someone who apparently is inexperienced. This is was I got: Uneven bumpy nails. Burned by the electric drill file. No polish on one side of one of my nails. Horrible experience- 3 strikes you're out. Will not be coming back. Mother in law and me did a walk in, first customers of the day. She asked for a fill, pink powder with sparkles. First they gave her attitude saying they didn't have it then we told them how the last place mixed two powders. The mixed powders for her but with white powder?!? So the nails she needed and filled were totally different from her original. My nails were suppose to have chrome. They showed me the example plastic nail and mine came out nothing like what they showed me you can't even tell which one is suppose to be chrome. The receptionist is the sweetest. However, the pedicure services were trash. My nails were uneven the cuticles were jagged. On my moms pedicure, the tech filed down the nail in its entirety, as in there is little to no nail bed left and there is risk for an infection. There were sharp edges and it was overall just a bad job. The nail techs were INCREDIBLY rude, and publicly insulted us telling us "who are we to complain" and "do you even speak English?" When I was literally born and raised in California, my English is perfect. We got up and left because we didn't even want to have them finish and they didn't even apologize, instead they said, "everyone is always happy, you don't know what you're talking about, don't come back here." We spoke to one of the managers/bosses and he was also very sweet and apologetic. But we will not be returning here unfortunately. read more

I have been here serveral times and yesterdays experience was questionable. Sophia did my mani/pedi. While doing my pedi, she pulled out the cheese grater and cut my left pinky toe. While she was scrapping away she was also talking to her co-worker. She apologized, tried to stop the bleeding with the water my feet were soaking in and put some alcohol in some cotton and applied it to the wound. She said she was sad because she hurt me, but she isnt the one that got wounded. I wear shoes around bot flip flops so it is very painful to walk, especially after I left the salon. No band-aid was offered or anything. So.....im very disappointed. I dont think I will be coming back. The store owner saw what happened and nothing was done. Use to be a regular however came in 6 days after getting my nails done for a Gel polish change they charged me $35 ... I asked why? It was just a polish change, no filing, no lotion, nothing! and the girl stated "anything to do with gel is 35 and up" ..... okay then why did the receipt say "GEL MANICURE $35 "? She couldn't explain it.... on top of that I paid full price for a pedicure (again 6 days later) because my feet had callus .... 6 days after I got their most "luxurious " spa pedicure the "jelly pedicure " which they recommended... now I had NO problem with that as I wear sandals a lot but it is just crazy they would charge me a FULL manicure price on top of that just to change my polish after knowing I was just in ! Started coming here when they first opened because they had great grand opening prices. The employees are super friendly compared to modern nail. The prices seem to always be the same whether I go in for a basic ($30) pedi and a gel fill or if I go in for a deluxe pedi and full set. Which is a tad bit annoying sometimes I request less or more basic services because I am not in the mood or can not afford it that week. (I every 2-3 weeks) each visit I spend $70-$80 dollars with a "discount" that doesn't include the $13-20 tip I give each girl for pedi and nails. They name my phone number each time for a reward program but I haven't seen anything yet. I hope prices are re thought. I spend the same $ at modern nails but I'll get a really good and long massage, not to mention sometimes here at six star the girls will work on my nails and toes at the same time. I dont know if it is just me but I like to relax and enjoy my pedi. One night I came in and they did both at the same time while telling me they were trying to hurry and close so they could go to the lake. It's understandable but don't rush and half ass my stuff because you don't plan properly. I called ahead to see if they had time they said yes so they should have taken their time. This nail shop is very nice they have 14 pedicure seats the staff and here is super friendly always Lisa is my nail tech she is very talented and if she does not know how to do something she will figure it out quickly she is always on top of the latest trends and styles and I appreciate that because I like to do Fancy Nails lots of jewels and designs and she can handle all of that I also had an issue with my big toe my toenail was bruised badly and came off they were able to help me with that and put a fake nail on it which was nice because it's summertime and who doesn't want to wear flip-flops the shop is big and beautiful they have a whole bunch of really good products as well you can get a face mask on while you get a pedicure it's nice they also do facials eyebrows you can do a walk in or make an appointment they are super flexible as long as you let them know in advance what you need and how much time you need they will make sure you get taken care of I recommend this place to anyone I will not be changing nail salons anytime soon this place keeps me feeling up to par and at my best so if you go here tell Lisa what you need and she'll take care of you read more

I always know that its not a good idea to have any services when they are about to close or on busy weekends. I admit it was part of my fault but with my busy schedule I had no choice. I called and she said its ok so I came in. Very regret now because the shape is ugly, doesn't look like coffin shape at all. The polish is missing on the side. Worst part is a couple cuts on my fingers since she was so rush when she filed my nails. They are hurting me now. Why would I pay the same money for worse service and got hurt? I understand they wanted to make some extra money but they also wanted to get home early. Sorry but you can't have both. Again, it was my fault too.
