Ok so I went this past Friday night to see red 6 we had dinner and some truly great music I was somewhat dissatisfied with the food my dads tenders though not frozen and hand made was under cooked that was the tenders the wings were so over cooked they couldn't be eaten but my lobster Mac and cheese was off the hook! All in all I'm going to give them a 4 more because of our service and the entertainment than the food! Again totally smoking band gets a 5 with the venue but the foid is a solid 3.6 read more

Went for lunch in one of the outdoor igloos (make a res in advance!). Staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. Very kid friendly. Fried pickles were delicious, perfect breading with a good crunch, not oily. Nashville chicken sandwich and pretzels were tasty as well. Will definitely go back again. Space inside is great and open, would love to see it during regular times. But for an outdoor covid option in the winter, the igloo experience was great!! read more

Ive been to Six Strings a few times and will return for the music and other events. The environment is fun and clean. However, the food is less than tolerable. I've had a few things on the menu and have yet to enjoy anything. Dislike sending food back and will try to tolerate most anything, but we did a couple of times, and the servers were understanding. read more

First timers 7/23/23 at 4:30pm. We were there for drinks and appetizers before a concert at Xfinity Center. The moment you walk in you are greeted with an old dirty bar odor. We decided to give it a chance and took seats at the bar. The bartender was attentive and pleasant. The drinks were fabulous, although out of Oreo for the martini. Next they were out of the steak and cheese egg rolls. We ordered loaded fries which had a terrible salty cheese sauce, did not finish them. They were out of scallions for the fries. Out of 3 items, 2 of which could have been purchased at the local grocery store. The chicken tenders were not at all tender and lacked flavor, did not finish them. The Churro dessert was nicely presented. The churros did lack flavor which could easily be fixed by rolling them in some cinnamon and sugar. read more

Our appetizer came out cold and our burgers took nearly an hour to come out and it wasn't even that busy. When they did finally come they were each cooked differently even though all were ordered medium. They kept saying "the chef" but it seems like they just have "some dude" in the kitchen. Went on a Saturday afternoon for lunch with my family. 3 of us had the steak tips and one had the lobster roll. Our steak tips were all cooked perfectly and the lobster roll got rave reviews. Staff was friendly and attentive. It took a few minutes to get silverware but I think they were a little busy so that's okay. I'll definitely be back to try some more items. I was intrigued my their brunch menu. I might have to try an eggs Benedict next time. read more

We drove two hours to see a show here. Aaron Lewis and friends fund raiser for Boston Hospital. The place is well run and handled a huge crowd with ease. Staff was professional and friendly. Bartenders were talented and fast. Bouncers were professional at all times. Food was good. I was impressed. Will definitely be back. read more

We hadn't been here since the previous tenant was located there. We were extremely disappointed. It was a Thursday night so we expected it to be extremely busy, but it wasn't at all. We were seated right away, but then waited about 15 mins for a server to come over to take a drink order. In fact, the guy promoting Truly came over to us and offered us samples before our server even arrived. Once she did arrive, we ordered our drinks and apps initially. The menu choices are fairly limited. The Server brought the drinks fairly quickly and then the apps were dropped by a food runner. We didn't have any side dishes. By the time the server checked on us again, we were nearly finished with the apps. She asked if we wanted side dishes but it was too late at that point. The food arrived in decent time and was hot. The portion size was decent, however I had ordered my steak well done and it was fairly pink inside. We ordered another round of drinks and then didn't see the server again until it was time to get the check. I'm not sure we will revisit. This place needs to implement some strong management or it is going to be out of business in no time. read more

I've been to at least three shows here - even when it was the Toby Keith version of the location. Audio is not great. The audience area is small- so if you're not on the floor, you can only hope to get a spot in the bar- and not see anything except on the TVs. We stopped by before the Kenny Chesney concert with a couple of hours to spare. They told us it would be an hour for a table which was fine for us. It didn't take that long and we found some very comfy chairs by coat check. We sat at a high top in the bar, and it was great for people watching. We got the pretzel app (excellent) and I tried a few of their special cocktails while we were there. I had a flatbread and my daughter had a burger. They were slammed, as expected, but food came out pretty quick. Our waiter could sold another drink or two, but he was a little on the spacey side. Not a bad waiter by any means. I appreciate the apology from the manager, although a refund would have been a nicer gesture. I found out that the wine I ordered, Whitehaven, is served in two sizes: 6 ounces and 9 ounces. I was never told that and not given a choice of sizes. It seems as if there's very rapid turnover of bartenders there as I never see the same ones twice and am guessing that most of them haven't worked there or in the bar business for that long. Other bars face the same issue with rapid turnover, but some train their employees much better than others. read more

I dined out here with a party of seven on a Saturday evening. Starting off, the service was some of the worst I have experienced; it was shallow and unhelpful. Our order was taken, and around forty minutes to an hour later, the food arrived. There were numerous things wrong with the entrees, and the appetizers were served when the meal came out. The food was cold, soggy and unappealing. How could you even consider yourself reputable when there was no silverware on the table upon seating? Was at this restaurant when it was Toby Keith's had a great experience and food was awesome. Today it was eh... We had chicken wings for an appetizer and I believe that was the best part of our meal. I had the fish n chips which had to much pepper in the batter very overwhelming. My husband had the chicken sandwich and said it was okay and had much better. Second time eating dinner here and each time service has been super slow even when it was dead and consistent issues with the food. Tried the fried buffalo cauliflower and it came out soggy in a watery sauce. For an entree got the short rib Mac N Cheese the pasta came out plain with no cheese on it had to send back. Second time ordered the fried green tomato salad as an entree and was brought out a salad with a few slices of cheese and was told they were out of tomato. I'm going to agree with Matthew M. in his review of this place. Food was so-so but passable. What I will agree with is his review on security and crowd behavior. I was at the same show on 12/20 and I saw 1 near fight at the table right next to mine. The two guys were verbally going at each other for about 10 minutes with no security in sight to calm things down which made me feel unsafe. And another person being escorted out with with blood dripping down his face. And so many people so drunk they could barely walk and talk. Six Strings have you ever heard of OVER SERVING customers. Just a terrible job of security and monitoring crowd behavior. I'm all for having a good time but when you see near fights and someone dripping with blood down their face there is a problem with how the establishment operates. Oh and if you want a shot at seeing the stage you need to get there when doors open and stand for the entire night in the spot that you can find with a view of the stage. Me and my friends opted to grab a high top table near the back and watch the show on one of the TV's that are scattered around the room. My first time going here because I wanted to see Aaron Lewis. They add unauthorized charges to your credit card and are impossible to reach in order to rectify it. I ended up eating a $400 charge because it was no longer worth the frustration of headache. My family decided to come here again during a trip to Patriot Place. The food and service was great! We started off with an appetizer of loaded waffle fries which came very quickly. The cheese was so addicting and the bacon and green onions added great flavor. My daughter and I split the Six String Burger, which was cooked perfectly and had a lot of flavor. My mother ordered the A Little Bit of Rock 'N Bowl salad. She said it was delicious! My sister got the Country Style Lobster Benedict. She said that the biscuit was very moist but she's had better lobster. Overall it was a great experience and we will definitely come back whenever we are in the area. read more

I wanted to like this place because the atmosphere was fun and unique. However the food was BAD. My drink (I forget the name) had Tito's, ginger beer, and peach purée and was delicious. Another person in our party got a simple margarita which tasted AWFUL. It tasted like sour mix with a heavy helping of lime juice. We couldn't even drink it. Server seemed miserable and simply stated "I'll just take that off the bill then." We ordered the street corn as an app. Served cold which was weird but the chips were stale. I ordered a salad with steak tips medium rare. My steak tips were raw. Not even rare just raw, barely seared. The server didn't apologize, said "I'll just take that off the bill then." She shows the manager (which was in eye sight of us) and he nodded in agreement. Manager never came over to talk to us which was weird considering there were multiple complaints. They had a separate gluten free menu. They promptly got our drinks and order in. The food was delivered quickly, I got the chicken sandwich with a gluten free bun. I had made a reservation for an igloo at Six String Grill & Stage for over a month ago for my daughters 8th birthday. They called to cancel because they switched their reservation system (from paper and pen to an iPad and back again) and double booked the igloos. They had a huge attitude and were really nasty about their mistake. I understand COVID makes things much harder however the nasty attitude was completely unnecessary. Their lack of organization is not my responsibility. When they offered me an inside table I said how I don't feel safe dining inside during COVID. The host responded, "the igloos aren't really that safe, all we do is wipe them down". read more

My husband and I have been going to Six Strings ever since they opened, through the worst of Covid and have always had a great time. The food is fantastic, the atmosphere is incredible, but the best part has always been the staff. If there ever were a true Cheers it was Six Strings, again, thanks to their staff. We always sit at the bar, when we can get a seat, and love talking with the bartenders and others seated around us. Last night we were seated at the bar, catching up with our friends, when one of them told us that the nicest person we have ever met was no longer working there. To say we were upset is a huge understatement. Tony, you are an incredible person and I am very sorry that anyone would ever do you dirty the way they did. Needless to say, last night was our last time visiting Six Strings, we will miss the other incredible people we got to know there, but if management can treat someone like Tony the way they did, we prefer to find a friendlier place. read more

After four months of being trapped in his group home, the disabled young man I am guardian of was finally allowed out and I met up with him and a helper for a lunch date at this restaurant. When we got there we were told that we needed a reservation for an outside table but the last thing my guy wanted was to sit indoors! When I explained the situation, the manger was so kind and found us a table with no wait even though they were busy and they needed to accommodate the wheelchair too. This is the worst bar I've ever been to. I can't even hear myself writing this review it was so loud. It was as loud as a pneumatic riveter in there and thats not an exaggeration. It got up to 120 db on the dance floor. Aside from the noise the drinks were overpriced and weak, the live music stunk, and the crowd was old and boring. Went there for my friends 21st birthday. Came out sober and disappointed. I hope the owner reads this so he can feel bad about his horrible establishment. Wish I could rate lower than 1 star. read more
