    Salad bar
    Josephine C.

On a Sunday afternoon in June, my family arrived at 11am. There was lots of people already eating. It's nice that they opened at 10:30am. The server was nice and good at cleaning plates from tables. Nice ambiance with TVs and people watching. There was wings which was crispy and taste good. The taco filling and shells were good too. Then the tuna salad which is my favorite taste so good. Lots of people so it was hard to take photo of the food. The restaurant is clean and I see staff refilling the food several times while I was eating. The place got busier at 11:30am to 12 noon. Free parking if available.

This Sizzler provided the most EXEMPLARY customer service for us today. Me and my best friend of seven years love dining at Sizzler and this location truly went above and beyond. The manager, Julian, took our orders and he made us feel valued and appreciated as guests. Our server, Angelica, was also amazing. Almost immediately after we sat down, she brought us our Ribby's Sizzin' steak sauce, toast, and the rest of our entrees. 10/10 would dine here again! Ps: If you come here, you MUST try the steak and lobster with mashed potatoes. Very delicious!

Good steak, Good Malibu chicken, and Good salad buffet! What more can you ask for? I love their cheese toast, too! The all you can eat salad buffet is reasonably priced for the amount of food selections, wings, spaghetti, tacos, soups and more. This location has a clean dining room, and typically very fresh food. The food stations are well stocked and maintained. The staff removes plates quickly and does a good job checking on the customers. Parking can be tricky on weekends but there is plenty of street parking.

Excellent service! I got the buffet and steak dinner with fried shrimps. Their toasted bread is so good! I'm planning to go back soon!

It is what it is right? I still enjoyed reliving the 80's by going back to Sizzler. Cheese bread was great and the salad bar was really good too. In fact, I'd only go back again for the salad bar. The staff that goes around cleaning up tables only does so when you leave, not when you're done with a round. So we ended up just putting in on the table next to us. Would be nice if they'd come around to clear the table every now and then.

We have always liked coming to Sizzler and this one is especially nice. It is always clean. The salad bar is always well stocked and taken care of. We like the salad bar and all of the choices. We shared the fried shrimp dinner and added the salad bar. Everything was delicious, however I have one complaint. Our entree arrived before we had a chance to get our salads.

Cheese bread - since I was a kid this bread has been #1

I remember going to Sizzler as a kid and really enjoying it. Unfortunately there aren't many sizzlers left around. I was drive in Atwater village and past by this one so I decided to check it out. Menu is classic as always. We orders the steak and lobster and steak and shrimp. For drinks we got mango lemonade and strawberry lemonade. They gave us complimentary cheese bread, which I absolutely love! I've loved their bread since I was a kid. It's literally the best. Then our dinner came out fairly quick. I had the lobster and steak. I am going to say this knowing that Sizzler is not a high end steak house, but there was a good portion of the lobster that was inedible. It had some weird black stuff on it, so I only ate a portion of it. The steak and mashed potatoes were decent as expected. The funny part is the cashier was asking if wanted the steak well done or medium well.. yikes. Medium is the most coked a steak should be lol so I stuck with medium. Service was good. The cashier and server were very kind. This is a cool sport o go to every now and then. Don't have high expectations. This is not some high end steak house. It's a normal dining restaurant that serves steak and some seafood. Overall, recommend.

Have not been here for a over a decade. I am happy I found a Sizzler location because there are a lot less now. Los Feliz location has about 40 tiny parking spots and rest are street parking (some are metered and some residential). This location opens at 10am Saturday morning. Service is pretty wonderful. I can still remember the toasted tasty cheese bread they always served. I opted for my fav the salad bar, $17.49 weekend price. Everything seems similar except missing mashed potatoes and gravy but replaced with other new items possibly the yams. Salad bar is still exactly the same. Tasty and lots to choose from. I like the spinach and adding my own twist to it. I loved the chicken noodle soup but the quality was not as I can remember. The little fried chickens are good. Clam chowder was worth while and don't forget t dip that cheese toast in the chowder too. Ice cream and banana pudding is exactly what I remembered. I had to slow down because this all you can eat hits you all at once. Thank you for the memories and great service Sizzler. Appreciate you for still being here. Will see you again.

    Good times...

Easy and somewhat affordable still. Food is plentiful and fresh. Service at this location is extremely fast. Ambiance is a little tired because of all the traffic running around. Overall a good experience and would recommend.

    Thanks, Vanna!!

Is the breakfast buffet still available for $11.99?

Yes, as of Sept. 3, 2023.

Can I just get the salad bar? And how much?

Yes, you can just get the salad bar. The price is about 14 dollars. It includes soups, and the taco bar, and desert bar. Drinks are additionally priced.

Are they asking for proof of vaccination at this time?

I called to ask about this at the Los Feliz/Atwater location on April 20th 2022, and the lady said they do require proof of vaccination as of this date.

What's is in the chicken wings? They are amazing .

My wife and I got the tofu and rice which was the perfect amount of food and allowed us to get two desserts. We had asked the waiter about two add ons but he steered us away, saying it was too much food. Although he did suggest we add the duck fat rice (which is it's own add on) to the tofu. We really appreciated his guidance there. We left full but not uncomfortable. All the food was very good there were no misses, but the local fish with preserved mustard greens and the roasted strawberry dessert were two of the best things I have eaten in many many years. California offered an immediate rush of light, space, and possibility. My memory is that when I turned my phone back on at LAX, my friend messaged to say he'd gotten us the hookup at Bestia. That dinner belongs to a chapter in which I spent considerable time in California and felt energized by the contrast with New York. My friend is highly discerning, with impeccable taste in food, design, and culture. He notices details most people miss, so when a place impresses him, I pay attention. From the moment I saw his message, I knew the reservation meant something. Even before we entered, Bestia's character was evident. Faded lettering crossed the corrugated metal facade, while brick walls and old loading doors preserved the warehouse's industrial history. Inside, enormous windows and garage doors brought light into a room shaped by glass, exposed ductwork, and warm amber pendants. When I fantasize about living in a loft, many of the attributes I picture are here, especially the incredible windows and connection to the street. Inside the restaurant, the dining room achieved a combination I rarely encounter. It had the table density and collective buzz of a great New York restaurant, but within a large, design-forward space closer in scale to something found in Chicago. New York creates energy through tight rooms, while Chicago excels at ambitious spaces with strong architectural identities. Bestia captured both advantages and made its considerable footprint feel alive and unified. We sat shoulder to shoulder at a pale stone counter facing the open kitchen. Golden era hip hop was playing, and A Tribe Called Quest still rings a very specific bell. I ordered the squid ink pasta, and it was exquisite, with enough depth and precision to command attention amid everything happening around us. We also spotted an unmistakably A-list celebrity, whom I will leave unnamed, making the night feel quintessentially Los Angeles. During that period, I often stayed at the Ace Hotel downtown, and the Arts District felt vibrant, raw, and full of possibility. The proximity to Skid Row could be deeply jarring, with severe hardship existing beside ambitious development and expensive restaurants. That contrast kept the neighborhood from feeling like a neat story of urban renewal, even as Bestia seemed to anchor its evolution. The warehouses and loading docks gave the area a character that no new development could convincingly recreate. Nearby, I also remember the American Apparel complex during its demise and the rise of impossibly cool Los Angeles designer John Elliott. His Escobar sweatpants and Villain hoodie helped define the kit of that moment; loyalists will understand. Los Angeles is a fickle city, drawn toward whatever is new and shiny, which makes Bestia's longevity especially impressive. Scene without substance is plastic, and Bestia earned its electricity through exceptional cooking, assured service, and a remarkable space; if I lived in Los Angeles, this would be one of the places I'd rely on whenever I wanted to impress someone. This is absolutely one of my favorite restaurants in the world.
