    Salad bar
    Josephine C.

On a Sunday afternoon in June, my family arrived at 11am. There was lots of people already eating. It's nice that they opened at 10:30am. The server was nice and good at cleaning plates from tables. Nice ambiance with TVs and people watching. There was wings which was crispy and taste good. The taco filling and shells were good too. Then the tuna salad which is my favorite taste so good. Lots of people so it was hard to take photo of the food. The restaurant is clean and I see staff refilling the food several times while I was eating. The place got busier at 11:30am to 12 noon. Free parking if available.

This Sizzler provided the most EXEMPLARY customer service for us today. Me and my best friend of seven years love dining at Sizzler and this location truly went above and beyond. The manager, Julian, took our orders and he made us feel valued and appreciated as guests. Our server, Angelica, was also amazing. Almost immediately after we sat down, she brought us our Ribby's Sizzin' steak sauce, toast, and the rest of our entrees. 10/10 would dine here again! Ps: If you come here, you MUST try the steak and lobster with mashed potatoes. Very delicious!

Good steak, Good Malibu chicken, and Good salad buffet! What more can you ask for? I love their cheese toast, too! The all you can eat salad buffet is reasonably priced for the amount of food selections, wings, spaghetti, tacos, soups and more. This location has a clean dining room, and typically very fresh food. The food stations are well stocked and maintained. The staff removes plates quickly and does a good job checking on the customers. Parking can be tricky on weekends but there is plenty of street parking.

Excellent service! I got the buffet and steak dinner with fried shrimps. Their toasted bread is so good! I'm planning to go back soon!

It is what it is right? I still enjoyed reliving the 80's by going back to Sizzler. Cheese bread was great and the salad bar was really good too. In fact, I'd only go back again for the salad bar. The staff that goes around cleaning up tables only does so when you leave, not when you're done with a round. So we ended up just putting in on the table next to us. Would be nice if they'd come around to clear the table every now and then.

We have always liked coming to Sizzler and this one is especially nice. It is always clean. The salad bar is always well stocked and taken care of. We like the salad bar and all of the choices. We shared the fried shrimp dinner and added the salad bar. Everything was delicious, however I have one complaint. Our entree arrived before we had a chance to get our salads.

Cheese bread - since I was a kid this bread has been #1

I remember going to Sizzler as a kid and really enjoying it. Unfortunately there aren't many sizzlers left around. I was drive in Atwater village and past by this one so I decided to check it out. Menu is classic as always. We orders the steak and lobster and steak and shrimp. For drinks we got mango lemonade and strawberry lemonade. They gave us complimentary cheese bread, which I absolutely love! I've loved their bread since I was a kid. It's literally the best. Then our dinner came out fairly quick. I had the lobster and steak. I am going to say this knowing that Sizzler is not a high end steak house, but there was a good portion of the lobster that was inedible. It had some weird black stuff on it, so I only ate a portion of it. The steak and mashed potatoes were decent as expected. The funny part is the cashier was asking if wanted the steak well done or medium well.. yikes. Medium is the most coked a steak should be lol so I stuck with medium. Service was good. The cashier and server were very kind. This is a cool sport o go to every now and then. Don't have high expectations. This is not some high end steak house. It's a normal dining restaurant that serves steak and some seafood. Overall, recommend.

Have not been here for a over a decade. I am happy I found a Sizzler location because there are a lot less now. Los Feliz location has about 40 tiny parking spots and rest are street parking (some are metered and some residential). This location opens at 10am Saturday morning. Service is pretty wonderful. I can still remember the toasted tasty cheese bread they always served. I opted for my fav the salad bar, $17.49 weekend price. Everything seems similar except missing mashed potatoes and gravy but replaced with other new items possibly the yams. Salad bar is still exactly the same. Tasty and lots to choose from. I like the spinach and adding my own twist to it. I loved the chicken noodle soup but the quality was not as I can remember. The little fried chickens are good. Clam chowder was worth while and don't forget t dip that cheese toast in the chowder too. Ice cream and banana pudding is exactly what I remembered. I had to slow down because this all you can eat hits you all at once. Thank you for the memories and great service Sizzler. Appreciate you for still being here. Will see you again.

    Good times...

Is the breakfast buffet still available for $11.99?

Yes, as of Sept. 3, 2023.

Can I just get the salad bar? And how much?

Yes, you can just get the salad bar. The price is about 14 dollars. It includes soups, and the taco bar, and desert bar. Drinks are additionally priced.

Are they asking for proof of vaccination at this time?

I called to ask about this at the Los Feliz/Atwater location on April 20th 2022, and the lady said they do require proof of vaccination as of this date.

What's is in the chicken wings? They are amazing .

We liked feel of the back patio but it seemed to be a designated smoking area so we chose the dining room instead. The atmosphere was warm and felt like being in a living room. We started with cocktails - a Mezcal Provencale, Hibiscus Margarita and a Toasted Coconut Daiquiri. They were well prepared and solid. I enjoyed the daiquiri. It was refreshing and not overly sweet and had a slight foam on top. Foodwise we had fish and chips, the house salad, chicken buns and the grilled cheese and tomato soup. Birthday boy enjoyed his salad and fish and chips. I tried his salad and enjoyed the little gem lettuce dressed with green goddess. The chicken buns had the right ratio of chicken, toppings and bread and though an appetizer, was enough for a meal. The grilled cheese and tomato soup combo was the classic pairing. The grilled cheese with the blend of cheeses, crispy Parmesan crust and added bacon was delicious. I savored it with a knife and fork. The tomato soup was also good. The most we have seen so far, it was more a "business plan" let's do what Americans may think a German beer garden looks like. Our friend, the LA promoter Vahe, took us yesterday. We found a little gem, grown over the years, with an actual German owner and a service that had more than basic knowledge of German food. Nice! The ambiance was what you would expect from a place like this, less stylish-designer but more owner look-what-we-brought-from-Germany over the many years. The food was actually good, reasonably priced and generously portioned - the sauce platter really deserved its name "platter"- Came with great German curry ketchup. It would be too much to brag about the food, it was decent better than just OK version of classic beer garden dishes. But one has to be fair: where in German beer gardens you find food really worth bragging about? So while I was really tempted to stop at 4 out of five stars, I give 5. After all, it matches my most key how-to-get-5 element: would I do a 30+ min detour just to go here. If someone asked me to show them decent German cuisine in a somewhat authentic ambiance, I would take them here. The Kiez may be closer to our home, the Wirtshaus more stylish, but here we found the hearty welcome we missed elsewhere.
