This establishment stays on the cleanliness issue; there was definitely a high level of management involvement in the operation here. The salad bar items seemed very fresh, including the salad toppings, fresh fruit, and in house made salads. It was a disappointment to see chicken wings as opposed to strips of grilled or broiled chicken, which is what the location in Reno/Sparks carries. I ate here for my uncle's birthday with my family and were disappointed by how salty many of the dishes were. It was actually the first time I've ever tried Sizzler. My sister had had Sizzler before and said it was good so we just went with it. Big mistake. My uncle and I both ordered the lemon chicken and agreed that our chicken were burnt and the sauce was too salty. We were so bloated from the salty foods the next day. My awesome experience started right when we walked in, my sister and I were celebrating our Birthdays (we're two weeks apart) anyway we were greeted right away and with a fun, bubbly gal who took our order and made tons of suggestions. The manager Yolanda came out and also greeted us and other guests making us feel at home...she even took us to our half booth half table and from there our server Gabi took great care of us not leaving our drinks empty for one minute gettingus whatever we needed. In fact all the girls I encountered were well mannered and sweet. Clearly Yolanda the GM is doing a great job and I can't wait to come back! Variety of salads, wings, soup and the makings for tacos or burritos. Service is outstanding and the servers touch the table continuously ensuring drinks are refilled, plates are cleared and ensuring everything is ok. It has been several years since I have eaten at a Sizzler. After moving to Petaluma, there isn't any very close by. So on a trip coming back from Southern California, my wife saw there was a Sizzler right off the freeway, and I immediately said we are stopping for dinner, and quickly exited the freeway. Once we found it, we parked the car and looked for the entrance, which I never understood why they have to put the entrance on the street-side so far from the parking lot, but anyway, we went in at the perfect time before the dinner rush started. I ordered one of my favorites, steak and malibu chicken. For the side I ordered the loaded baked potato, and I added the all you can eat salad bar. My wife ordered steak and jumbo fried shrimp, with steamed broccoli as the side, and added the all you can eat salad bar as well. We were seated in a booth close to the salad bar, which was nice. The restaurant was kept very clean and the atmosphere was bright but not too bright. Very inviting. Our drinks were brought promptly with some of their famous cheese toast. We went and got our salad bar items. The salad bar was kept clean and the items looked fresh. We started with a salad, which had a lot of choices for topping it. Nothing worse than a "salad bar" that doesn't have much to choose from, but Sizzler does a great job with having a wide array of choices. I also had a few of their fried chicken wings, which were crispy and flavorful, although they could have added a touch more seasoning to them. The salad bar was really good so far. We went back to our table and enjoyed our salads. The cheese toast was crispy on the outside but soft in the middle, and great flavor. In the past the cheese toast was not up to par, but they have made it well this time. Our food arrived, and it looked well prepared. The steak was a pretty good sized piece. They have been known in the past to be skimpy, but this was good. The steak was cooked somewhat well. I asked for medium, but I think it was a little more done than that. It had good flavor. I would not put this in the same category with a really good steakhouse, but for the price it was good. My wife's steak was pretty much the same. The malibu chicken was as always delicious, and I love the simple mustard/mayonnaise sauce they serve with it. My wife's shrimp were pretty good sized and nice and crispy. The loaded baked potato was also delicious. It was loaded with butter, sour cream, cheese, bacon, and chives. I should have had them leave off the chives, but it was delicious overall. My wife's broccoli looked like it was cooked well. The meal was very delicious for the price. We finished off the meal with a visit to the dessert bar. There was soft serve with various topping options, and they also had a couple other desserts as well. One looked like a type of cinnamon roll, and the other I think was maybe an apple cobbler. We both opted for soft serve. I had chocolate by itself, and my wife had vanilla. What can I say? You can never go wrong with soft serve! So all in all Sizzler did it well. The staff were all friendly and the service was good. This will be a dinner pit stop for us again! read more

I had called earlier to ask if they could help us with seating at 6:30, the manager said no problem. We were doing a presentation to our son, he was promoted to Captain at his FD and was assured that there was no problem it would be available when we hot there. Their food isn't at temp... The wedges were raw and cold, I sent back my baked potatoe Cuz it was literally cold inside.. Another thing is our dinner came out so fast like I question whether it was even cooked fresh... The steak was Luke warm the food was just disappointing... Ugghh worst frigin bday meal ever... We've been going here since this Sizzler opened in Turlock. Have always wanted to say how much we liked it. OK, so this place has great people like Mayra working there. Always has had people who are friendly, courteous and fast. The place is really busy all the time and that means the food is good and always fresh. You won't find as good a salad bar for many miles around the valley. It's not just salad. If you haven't been there, go hungry. The steaks are really good too. The interior design of the building is pleasing to the eye. The lights are great. I have to put in a good word to the management as well. This location has a very fresh and clean salad bar. My salad was awesome. They could stand to replenish and maintain the hot food items though. They were almost out of wings and fries and another container was empty. None of which were replenished during my meal. However, the soups were great.
