I've been twice. The Kebabs are terrific. The chicken Shawarma we had on our first visit was very good. However, The beef Shawarma on our second visit was incredibly dry and not salvageable even with the excellent marinades they offer. read more

Can I give 10 stars? Because this place was amazing! Attended for 2024 Restaurant Week. My husband and I choose one place to go to together each year and we narrowed down the 100+ list to 1. We chose wisely. The $25 mark was appropriate considering their menu prices, but considering quality and quantity, I would say it was a bargain. No pics unfortunately. Once we started eating we forgot about our phones. The breakdown: 1st course - one chicken curry soup and one falafel bites. Both were fantastic. If you don't like hot spicy or heavy on the palette spicy, avoid the curry. For me, it was amazing and my mouth is watering thinking about it. 2nd course - lamb skewers and chicken shawarma wrap. The lamb was well cooked and a decent amount. My husband isn't a huge lamb fan, but he said it's the best he's had. It came with rice and roasted veggies that he devoured. The chicken wrap was fantastic. The spices were great and it had some pickles in it that really brought the flavors together. It came with seasoned shoestring fries. I don't know what was on the fries... but I'm a dipper and I didn't need dip. They tasted great the next day too ;) 3rd course - paklava and wabat (?). Both were super good and flavorful. My only complaint for the entire meal was that the wabat phyllo dough was a little on the raw side on the inside. But the filling was so good we scarfed it down without a second thought anyways. Drinks. We paired with a cocktail, Armenian wine, and finished off with Armenian coffees. All were great. Service was 5/5, food was 5/5, ambiance was ok... 3/5? They occupy two former spaces and haven't really made them their own yet, especially on the old Scratch side. I'm sure that will change with time. Very understaffed. Waited for 15 minutes and server did not even bring a menu. Unfortunate because the menu looked so good.

Skewers is NOT chipped & formed commercially produced "kabab". It is the real thing. I'm partial to the beef, and it is seasoned pieces stacked on a skewer, broiled upright, then sliced off in bits. Just as it should be. Portion sizes are large -- to much for me -- then I eat a bit and get full. Then I have to eat a bit more -- because the flavor is compelling. Then I take the rest home for later. I really like these flavors, and I am so happy to find them near where I live. Thank you for being open for lunch at least a little bit. Service is friendly and good. Not exactly professional, but I'll take it. Ambiance is borrowed. Maybe someday it will fit the restaurant. This is food that I really like, so I'll definitely be back for more. read more

I've never had shawarma, so I was really excited to find Skewers. Thanks to Big Barn Brewing Co's IG post, I started following Skewers. I finally had a chance to try them recently when they were in Liberty Lake. My group and I tried a bunch of different items from the truck. The beef and lamb shawarma in a pita and on a salad, the falafel bites and for dessert, the pakhlava. Everything was fantastic. The flavors were amazing, the sauces were delicious, and the portions were huge! Everyone in my group is a big fan. Can't wait to get to the brewery when Skewers is serving again! read more

What a great experience! We came after a symphony concert, as did a lot of people and we were lucky and thankful to get a table. The staff did an incredible job getting the food out to so many people in a timely manner. The staff was friendly and attentive. And the food was so tasty and authentic. Food was really good. Beef shawarma is something I typically stray away from because of it being overly tough but it was perfectly tender here! Fries were seasoned to perfection in my eyes and the spicy sauce was the perfect blend of sweet and spicy. Definitely recommend! read more

Got a chance to taste a sample for their shawarma with pita and one falafel (yeah a single one :D) during the food trucks annual event by 509foodtrucks. Very impressed by the shawarma and pita with that tzatziki sauce .. the falafel was a bit stiff for my liking but tasted really good. They claim to make their shawarma the traditional way .. heap of different meats are put in a vertical skewer .. and grilled. Anyway, I hope to find them soon and get a bigger bite .. will update this review then. read more

The first time hitting up this food truck and they were parked right outside from Bridge Press Cellars so it worked perfectly to grab a quick bite before the comedy show upstairs in The Hidden Room ballroom. Food was delicious!!! Mediterranean cuisine. I tried Falafel with shawarma fries and hubby tried lamb with gtsu sauce spicy but tasty mixed with the tahini sauce. So crazy delicious! I booked Skewers for a private event last weekend and everyone absolutely loved and devoured the food. Mirak is so professional, kind, and communicative. I would 100 percent recommend Skewers for personal or private events because they're so amazing to work with and the food is INCREDIBLE. I got to try a little of everything. The lamb and beef and the chicken is so tender and full of flavor. I love the spices used. The rice and fries are perfectly cooked and the sauces are to-die-for and loaded with flavor! I had the beef/lamb shawarma; while the serving size was generous and the flavor was decent, the meat was not even remotely as tender or juicy as I expected from that style of cooking. I also asked for no tomatoes (this was confirmed by the guy taking my order), but when I got back to my office and unwrapped my pita... there were tomatoes. The fries were well seasoned, and I heard good things about the whipped feta dipping sauce from others eating there (I ignored it because I don't like feta), but seemed like they'd been sitting out for awhile. I was originally looking forward to this one, but won't be trying it again. Unless you absolutely need to get some Mediterranean-style food in you I'd look at your other food truck options first. read more

My husband and I wanted a dinner we could easily order and take home to enjoy. We saw that Skewers would be at a brewery so decided this was it. We had seen the amazing plates of shawarma at other venues where they've been, but we've never ordered. I was so excited to order the plate of fries and all the goodies. We had a beef/lamb salad, chicken plate with hummus and fries, falafel, and the roasted cauliflower. Everything was delicious! I regret not ordering the shawarma fries, but I know what to try next time! We had Skewers Food Truck with Chef Mirak cater our daughter's and new son's wedding. The process started a ways back when he patiently worked with us to develop the menu. Then on the big day, he overcame some significant obstacles to even get to the site. It turned out to be steep, icy and slippery that day. The quality of the food was top notch and he and staff did a really great job serving about 170 in close quarters. 169 loved the whole meal and you know, every crowd has that one guy that only eats the familiar & boring. Catch a meal from Skewers and enjoy some amazing Mediterranean food. And if you want to have uncommon & amazing catering, this proud Papa wholeheartedly recommends Skewers. read more

First of all.... FINALLY!! This food is absolutely what my heart and soul has been looking for in Spokane (sorry not sorry for dramatics because the craving were serious). I've had falafel from a lot of places here and none have been like skewers. Skewers food was tasty, fresh, NOT DRY (hard to find in falafel here) and very well priced. I ordered through DoorDash and it came quickly and hot (hummus and veggies cold). Hummus was amazing and plentiful. Chicken had an awesome authentic and smoked flavor with a perfect texture. Pita was delicious and rice was bomb. I can't stress enough how much I loved the falafel. I've been eating on the same food for three days now and I'm still not tired of it.
