The nurses (who give treatments) and staff are attentive, knowledgable, friendly, and helpful. There are a lot of treatment options, which can get confusing; they do a great job of talking through the options and making recommendations based on your skin. They offer volume discounts that are very compelling and make things downright reasonable. They sell good skincare products for maintenance; not a bunch of stuff, just what you need. I'm in my 50s and Skin Laundry is what I do in lieu of Botox or other interventions; I feel like my skin is the best it's been in *at least* 15 years, maybe longer. read more

I was influenced to visit skin laundry by their adds for first time customers trying their signature laser facial. It was the best decision I made this year. I walked in for a special and walked out with a pass for a monthly subscription to laser facials. I have some acne scarring, some fine lines, and texture. I chose to go with the package (although a three month commitment) to see the difference of a few laser treatments. This location is tucked away in the heart of Pasadena, with parking structures close by on Raymond, as well as De Lacey (my personal favorite for parking close by). The ladies at the front desk are very kind, and offer you water or tea when you arrive. My nurse, Joi, is amazing, patient with my questions, and attentive during my treatments, as are all the other nurses. Staff and nurses are the best here. They explain the procedures, benefits, and risks very well. I chose to do the pass because it made sense to get more than one signature facial per month at a wonderful price. I have been coming to Skin Laundry for over two years. I enjoy seeing my nurse June for my treatments doing the power duo or signature. Shes does an amazing job making sure I'm comfortable and analyze the before and after photos. My skin's texture looks better and I break out less now. They run a tight ship here so I'm not stuck waiting for so long. The receptionist Andrea is so sweet and welcoming! After driving so far to this place, and trying to figure out where to park, lady calls me not to park coz they have no grace period for late arrival. I thought my membership was cancelled (I lost my job) only to notice they had charged my credit card four months without ever notifying me that I was only put on "pause." They didn't even call me to set up an appointment, which would have clued me. If I'm being charged, why didn't I even get a text message. Yes, bad on me for not seeing it sooner. But beware. Ok I've gotten quite a few laser treatments on my face over the past 10 years in varies places. I don't have big expectations since it's $275 month and the signature facial didn't hurt. Turns out, you don't really need to be in pain to see results! The results really surprised me. I did 4 signature facial (once a week) and then I did the resurfacing. I was red, blah blah blah, the usual but after 7 days my skin is brighter, smoother and my pores are barely visible. I have my next resurfacing appointment with radio frequency this time and I can't wait! Tip: bring a large hat for after the treatments to cover from the sun. And numb on the drive in if you're doing the resurfacing. It was a little spicy. read more
